Poor Jennette, she seemed so happy in iCarly, but the truth was anything but. I hope that she's in a better place emotionally now.

As a child it is very difficult to understand what is and what is not abuse, and I commend Miss McCurdy for her abilities and courage. It took me into my late 40s to be able to really face what happened to me and understand the depth of the abuse, and I have permanent damage to my spine and physical scars from my abuser.
Its actually super sad that she had a rough time as an Actress, despite the fact that both iCarly and Sam & Cat seem like fun shows, depending on People's Opinion on either one right now.
But still, I hope she is still doing okay with whatever the heck she's doing right now.
I'm glad Jennette succeeded. She faced he problems and abusers. She feels good,lives her life. She's success story. This is very good. Great video
Its a shame she didn't make a bigger impression in the music world. Jennette could actually sing extremely well.

Very good piece. Well done! Her book is excellent. I would love to see her one woman show filmed and played on HBO or a streaming show. I wish McCurdy the very best and hope she continues to have better mental health.
It's sad that Jenette went through so much thanks to her Mom and Schneider. She really didn't deserve it.

She's so talented, hilarious, intelligent & strong.
I've always wanted to see her act in Vicky Lawrence characters. She has the comedic chops to star in a biopic of Vicky's life or a Mama's Family reboot.

Feel bad for Jennette what she has gone through after losing her mom dealing with health and eating disorder I guess 😔. But to me I still think she is a good actress and she is in a better place Jennette is Happy what she is doing
Never saw the point of watching the new iCarly show without her. Sam was my favourite character.
I get her reasoning. But she should have did atleast one cameo episode on the new show
She doesn’t owe anyone anything. You need to read her memoir to gain a tiny piece understanding what she went through.

I read her book. I hate to say that I enjoyed it, as hers was not an enjoyable life, but it was a good read, and I'll probably read it again. I do recommend it with the caveat that she pulls no punches. She speaks very openly and bluntly.

I still feel for Jeanette Mercudy, but I also feel for the rest of the main cast of ICARLY. Only because Miranda, Nathan, and Jerry chose to stand by Jeanette and go against Dan in secret. For example, in the ICARLY reboot, the cast would now use hidden messages to go against Dan. Nickelodeon/Paramount/Viacom caught on to what they were doing and decided to cancel the reboot after 3 seasons. So it's not just Jeanette. The entire cast of ICARLY was mistreated. It's really sad, but it might be for the best because Nickelodeon is dead now, and Viacom CBS is to blame. It all goes back to Viacom. But I am proud of the cast of ICARLY for choosing to stand by Jeanette they are a true family

It was her mom. The woman was mentally ill. I have met people like her mom. I one had a relative taken away from an abusive mother who was mentally ill.
