Maybe I'm alone here but I'd love to see the colorado fixed and taken back to a more reliable set up. Use the zr2 for light off road use and put some power adders on it for the content but keep feeding us with good offroad colorado content. The silverado looks nice but it'll never match up with the short wheel base of its colorado part. Either way I'm in for it but would be nice to see 2 different set ups on the channel that compliment each other so well.
I agree, the Colorado zr2 is more reliable when stock. the wheels are lighter and they work with the suspension, I think offroad rallying it would be cool. Thats more of what it's made for.

He just needs to fix what he broke and regear it. There's more than a handful of guys running big tires and actually offloading them and none of them have broken a diff. Redyrig4x4 420motors, carscatsandcanibis and a guy with k2 I'm the name.. I forget his handle.
Idk about you guys buy the gmc Canyon’s front end design is more pleasing to me.. only mainly because the ford ranger and chevrolet coloardo’s front ends are uncomfortably too similar looking.
Plus ya don’t see a canyon long bed full cab setup with 4x4 and the baby duramax everyday.. and a lift🙃😂

I gotta admit, when Street Speed did their video I was disappointed that the ZR2 wasn’t more comparable to the TRX but it has grown on me. You got a really nice one by the looks of it. I hope you enjoy it. Silverado ZR2!

@@Pr0digy47 bro the zr2 is better than a rebel or tremor lol.Dothey have front and rear lockers? Plus the suspension ain't shit on a tremor or rebel.Those trucks are like the trail boss. You can't say that this truck does not fit in between the tremor and the raptor,and in between the rebel and trx. You really took a punch at the zr2 lol. The front locker alone is sweet. The Ford and dodge don't have strait lockers.I think that is where the zr2 shines.The shocks are a big upgrade compared to the trail bosses Rancho shocks also. I had to throw in my 2 sense 😁
@@gettin_while_growin1512 it’s not a punch at the zr2 it’s just facts. The rebel and the tremor have lockers and very similar suspension. And comparable horse power. The zr2 is not on the level of the trx and the raptor. It would need a Baja suspension Baja fenders and more power. And it’s also a similar price to the rebel and the f150 tremor. But I’d say out of the rebel and the tremor the zr2 is definitely a tough competitor in that realm.

Congrats! Love the new Silverado ZR2. I'm looking into getting an AT4X hopefully soon for myself.
When I bought my 2014 F-150 new, it had 350mi on it. My dealer paperwork said 4mi. I think they still put the mileage when it arrived at the dealer. I never asked about it, but 112k mi later and still running strong
And if you happen to give the colorado away I'm totally making my dad buy me some shirts and posters

I have spent 34 hours at the I80 truck stop awesome place. The road through Joliet and Chicago sucks I drive a semi through there at least 2 times a week. 4K send Silverado ZR2
Glad to see you giving it a long distance test drive. Other than light off roading and overlanding, I bought my ZR2 Silverado to drive from Vancouver BC to Northern Saskatchewan, a 24 hour plus drive. Glad to see you putting it through it’s paces.

The new truck is nice and love the interior upgrades but I still love the Colorado maybe because that’s the truck I drive but the midsize is just perfect!
I getting excited The same colour Glacier Blue. Finally a two tone interior the interior and dash looks amazing but neat.

Nice video..,......on the straight from factory conditioned u mentioned in terms of pre delivery preparation, its a nice thought.......but......the backroad driver brothers did that with a new bronco........said cleaning it up was a pain in the rear.

Silverado ZR2! I think a giveaway would be cool. It’d be nice way of sending off the Colorado. If you ever go out west again the Bigfoot shop is just off the highway outside St. Louis. They were closed when we drove through but you can see some crazy builds in the show room.

Something that most people don't know is that a lot of semi's are speed governed, anywhere from 62-70....! ZR 2 !
I Like the color but the Colorado has much better styling in my opinion and is a much better size. Your videos show that the Colorado is a fantastic truck. I really hope this truck works for you.

You got the truck in fruitland Idaho, at hometown motors. Crossed the bridge into Ontario Oregon to Walmart, then got onto I84 back into Idaho toward Boise. The two towns look like one because they’re both border towns.

You should keep the Colorado if you can and wrap the trucks the same and get a trailer and use the Silverado and the pulling rig and put the Colorado on the trailer and use it as the mud machine!

I’d go with 295/70/18 size tires with the Chevy front level kit. That would be a true 34” tire.

Congrats dude! I’m glad you filmed the drive back, I was stationed in Mountain Home AFB, ID for 5.5 years so the entire drive I recognized. My buddy that was there too was from Altoona so he made that long trek a few times as well
Installed fiber optic cable from slc to boise along the uprr. When we went through mtn home you could see the tank test track. Watching them do target practice was awesome.
Hope you didn’t get the 15.5mpg the whole way but it’s a good looking truck Can’t wait to see what comes of it. ZR-2!!!!!
