When it comes to the Arby's liquid meat a couple months ago a friend of mine who use to work at one told me about it and that it was true and I never heard of the rumor before he told me.

Seing as I have worked at a few fast-food joints in my day, I have a couple things to add- Wendy's chili beef is just old uneaten patties and McDonald's eggs come from a carton.
My mom worked at Wendy’s as a teenager and she says to make the chili they cut up old hamburgers that couldn’t be served as burgers anymore put it in a cup and mixed it with chili sauce and beans. She doesn’t care and still eats their chili tho.
0:52 I like how they use some unknown celebrity to tell us that it's okay to eat Taco bell because she does followed by her unecessary comment. Thanks Krissy, now I can feel safe!
Once,in second grade my classmate told me a McDonald's myth story: Once a lady bought a cheeseburger menu She ate the fries, and drank the soda, but she forgot her cheeseburger on her table The next day she traveled to France for 7 years, with the cheeseburger still on the table When she came back 7 years later, the burger was still fresh We laughed so hard, when she finished the story
Ok. The Chinese food myth is only sort of a half myth. It might be true that they do not serve cat or dog in the US, but having SEEN with my own eyes dog and cat meat hanging in a butcher shop window in Hong Kong, I know that it's entirely possible in Asia.
you see that in one area of China, and all the sudden you believe the whole nation eats dogs and cats?? there’s the same amount of white cannibals in America as the people that eat dogs and cats I’m china. The cannibals are spread out in America, and in China there are specific parts that eat dogs and cats, but most don’t fucking do that because they have a heart. They aren’t disgusting heartless ‘ew Chinese people’. And just because America has cannibals doesn’t mean all whites people are cannibals. I’m Chinese and I’m sick of hearing things like “do u eat dogs”. I’m VEGETARIAN BECAUSE I CRY WHEN I SEE A CHICKEN BECAUSE I KNOW HES DEAD MEAT SOON. If you know there’s only one province, why don’t people get rid of the stereotype already, and stop labeling us as nasty dog eaters. It makes me really annoyed and kind of hurt. DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH. I’m sorry, just annoyed that people have the nerve to guess from one experience.
Minty Hash I dont know where this cannibalism comparison is coming from but it is a bit common for people to eat dog in china, sure not everybody does it but there are restaurants and food vendors selling it, especially around certain times of the year, watch this -> ruclips.net/video/3I7oe3MKNF0/видео.html
I smell hypocrisy, Derek Allyn. “Don’t project your ideals and beliefs on other cultures.” Look at the main comment, which is of you doing the same thing you said not to do. “The Chinese food myth is only sort of half true.” Wow. “Chinese.” You just set a little butcher shop, or a few others onto a whole country.
I worked at an Arby's for over a year and we don't slow roast the meats on location. Everything comes in frozen. Only the roast beef is cooked on location. The roast beef has a gelatinous texture in the bag before it's tossed in the oven.
I remember when the “woman eating a rat” rumor was going around in the mid 1970’s. It was about Church’s; I never heard Kentucky Fried Chicken, as we knew it then, mentioned. A ridiculous rumor about McDonald’s using worms in their hamburgers was prevalent around the same time.
I worked at a chicken hatchery for several years. Yes we did get chicks with 4 legs, but they were "siamese twins" not mutants, and they never survived more than a few days.
I'm not sure about other fast food restaurants, but in my college days I used to work at Domino's making pizzas. I can therefore confirm that the ingredients there are 100% fresh and real. I'll never forget the smell of their vegetable pizzas - it was INCREDIBLE, which is strange since I'm such a big meat eater. But there was something pure and unadulterated about making a pizza with just tomato sauce, cheese and fresh vegetables... About a year ago I read a report about best practices in the food industry. It describes how the food industry is subject to such strict regulations and rigorous controls that the food industry actually intentionally exceeds safety requirements as well as stated weight/volume indicated on packages since doing so is far cheaper than any fines they would have had to pay for violating the law. For example, if a bag of potato chips says 12 ounces on the label, it actually contains 12.2 or 12.3 ounces. They do this because the cost of those extra 0.2 or 0.3 ounces pales in comparison to the untold millions in fines they would have had to pay for only filling 11.8 or 11.9 ounces. So in the end it's actually cheaper to overfill than underfill, to exceed food safety requirements than skirt them. So relax, the food served in fast food restaurants are perfectly safe...at least 99.99% of the time ;-)
p.s. cows eyes, eyes in general, are Pure Protein. And this is what was used in the past on their fry’s. Before they were busted for using cow protein on McDonalds Frys.
Fun fact: Although Wendy's chili meat may not be anything harmful, what it REALLY is happens to just be leftover meat from the hamburger patties. My brother used to work there, and can confirm this. I've even eaten it before and found what was obviously a corner piece from one of Wendy's famous square patties.
*20+ years ago, a lineman working on an electrical tower contacted the health department after seeing defeathered chickens hanging from a clothesline behind a Chinese restaurant.*
I call BS on Starbucks. My unit wrote them and asked if they could ship coffee to us. I don't drink coffee. Our LT even included that the unit would pay for it. Instead, they got a letter which I read and it 'appreciated business from them' but do not support the war or those in it. I wish still had the picture.
I was IN that war. I went over TWICE. I don't drink coffee but for those who do, it is a needed commodity. I don't like war myself, but I served as a Medic. Every military person that serves doesn't do so because they/we are bloodthirsty killers. We're not. Supporting people who do things are their country regardless of how they feel is right. We ensure that the countries that do hate us, don't try and pull a Red Dawn on us.
Someone just called you a liar in this thread. Gonna respond? Cause I'd say you're full of shit as well. They wouldn't send a letter, they'd just not send anything. No business is going to taint their image like that.
I did work at mcdonalds and was told one thing by the lead cook. Stay away from the cheap meat and from the breakfast steak. The quarter pounders, the chicken (not the McChicken) hell even the nuggets were okay (bleached dark meat). But otherwise stay away from the cheap meat, so anytime I do go to fast food places, I pay the extra dollar.
Considering that I work at Wendys and have seen how Chili Meat is made, it's literally NOT possible to poop in the batch of chili and not go unnoticed. Literally speaking, the meat used in Chili is the exact same meat we use for our burgers; literally, it's exactly the same meat; because roughly 20% of the patties we cook are actually chopped and ground up to be used for the chili - where it's mixed with an assortment of beans, chili-sauce, water, and stirred several times before being heated up for about an hour before being served, and stirred 8 times every 15 minutes. The stuff tastes great with a pack's worth of salad croutons waiting at the bottom and a bit of Wendy's liquid cheese-sauce mixed in for extra viscosity.
While I am rather sure that almost all Chinese restaurants to use dog meat or cat meat or rat meat, it is completely true that in Asia they use all 3. When Man evolved with the wolf and dog it was mostly in Europe, and cats in the middle east, in Asia they didn't really have dogs for a long time, and as such while Europeans evolved to find the dogs to be adorable and to have a loyal bonding with our dogs, to most in Asia dogs are like cows are to us, just cattle. Also in communist China if you're not in a special administrative district you aren't allowed to trade, barter, shop, etc. because you're under communism, and of course even though the government is funded by capitalism from the special administrative states it does not mean you actually get enough food from them. This means that basically anything that moves is a delicacy in china, not because of some racial bullshit (the dog stuff wasn't either, it was based on the simple fact that in Asia dogs are and especially were used mostly for food) but because anything that moves is good enough to eat when the alternative is to starve.
Ummm your talking out of a hole in your ass. I have spent a long time in China on 2 different trips. I am betting you have never evenset foot in the country. Interestingly one evening while at dinner with my Chinese crew members, I asked what one dish was, one of my workers, hoping to get a rise out of me said "it is cat" my response, I am sure disappointed him, as I didn't stop putting it on my plate, but simply said "oh I have not tried that yer." Another Chinese crew member quickly and forcefully said " OH THATS NOT CAT!, I don't know how people eat CAT or dog!" She said. So yes it is served but it is NOT AT ALL COMMON, and most Chinese people do not eat it themselves. In addition I was told the both the dogs and cats that are raised for food are NOT at all like our pets, but a breed that is just for that purpose, and are not pet quality animals. I spent 4 months, in China living and eating every meal with them, the CLOSEST I ever got to eating Dog or cat, was one time, one of my crew took me to a Korean restaurant and it was on the menu. Neither one of us ordered it.... sorry but your full of shit.
that KFC bucket, it's always overflowing with chicken. right. Have you ever gotten an overflowing bucket of chicken? me neither. not even spending $30. And that's their signature scam
I used to work at Wendy’s. The meat is the old dry crusty meat that has been left on the grill too long. At the end of the day, the meat is all white and yellow and smells gross. It’s chopped up and later put in the chili.
Wendy's chili meat is the same ground beef from their burger patties. When I worked there as a teenager, burgers would fall apart on the grill, so instead of wasting it, we would cook it into chili.
I worked at Wendy's. The chili meat is the same as the hamburger meat. It's literally chopped up hamburger patties. And the knife used couldn't possibly cut a finger off. The sharp knives aren't even kept close to the chili. Very little cutting is done during the day. That's how you get it quick. All of the prep work is done in the morning so the day can be spent cooking.
Startbucks is Anti-Military? On the Local Nato-base they have a whole Starbucks-Store for the foreign (mostly US and Canadian) Forces... So yeah that should put an end to that story.
I worked at McDonald's in the mid 90's. Unless you ordered a meal that came with fresh eggs we always used eggs from a carton. All breakfast sandwiches used eggs from a carton.
I was a cook at McDonald's and we do use real eggs, we crack them in a circular holder so they hold their shape for the egg mcmuffin. However, for the other mcmuffins that have the all-yellow folded egg, those come packaged as such and we microwave them and for the egg white mcmuffin the egg whites are from a carton that contains only egg whites and we cook those on the grill.
Yes very unreliable like the media, we need an orange guy with a horrible blonde wig who cons people for a living to tell us the facts because he don't lie and he's never wrong
I've been a manager at Rally's and an employee at Wendy's. I've also been an employee at other fast food chains. those two restaurant chains versus other restaurant chains is that they have a hot side of the grill and a keep warm side of the grill so at Rally's and Wendy's versus other restaurant chains when it's time for the meat to be discarded because it's all dried out and of no use they actually put it in pans and set it to the side and use for their chili other fast food chains that I have worked at they discard this meat
Whenever I make tacos, I start with beef, then I add other. Such as yeast, and sand, maltodextrin, isolated oat product, soy lechtin, etc. ya know, like Taco Bell does. Because that’s how to make a beef taco.
In some Chinese restaurants, traditional fake meat may be used. They are made of wheat gluten, by developing gluten in wheat dough then washing the starch. The texture is similar to chicken meat, and with good addition of bone broth and seasoning can also tastes the same.
Terrible example. Many cultures across the world eat snake. How about accusing America of being racist because of a small minority? Oh wait EVERYONE does that.
Main question that rarely pops into people's minds when they talk about some mystery meats is - why? Chicken, beef, and pork are widely available and CHEAP. There are enormous industries in place to make sure you can get as much as you want at pretty much any time. Hell, horse meat is more expensive than beef. Why would anybody put it in their burger, claiming it's 100% beef? In short - faking pretty much anything food related is almost always more expensive and labor intensive than just getting the real thing.
Venison is healthier and leaner than beef, not to mention it's typically more expensive (unless you're hunting it yourself), so why would venison be a bad thing?
Hardies Hamburger chain closed down in Australia in the early 80's because they got caught using dog food, when garbos found empty dog food cans in the Hardies restaurant garbage.

Seing as I have worked at a few fast-food joints in my day, I have a couple things to add- Wendy's chili beef is just old uneaten patties and McDonald's eggs come from a carton.
"Snopes" lol...like that a really credible source for ANYTHING...
My mom worked at Wendy’s as a teenager and she says to make the chili they cut up old hamburgers that couldn’t be served as burgers anymore put it in a cup and mixed it with chili sauce and beans. She doesn’t care and still eats their chili tho.
The other 12% in Taco Bell is literally just spices...
0:52 I like how they use some unknown celebrity to tell us that it's okay to eat Taco bell because she does followed by her unecessary comment. Thanks Krissy, now I can feel safe!
That doesn't make any sense. They changed their name to KFC because they can't call the food chicken? KFC stands for Kentucky Fried CHICKEN though.
Once,in second grade my classmate told me a McDonald's myth story:
Once a lady bought a cheeseburger menu
She ate the fries, and drank the soda, but she forgot her cheeseburger on her table
The next day she traveled to France for 7 years, with the cheeseburger still on the table
When she came back 7 years later, the burger was still fresh
We laughed so hard, when she finished the story
Boi, you do know that SOME chinese eat dogs, it's a very small percentage in China.
It's not that commen, but some eat it.
There are parts of China that do eat dogs, so the Chinese restaurant one isn't necessarily just straight up racist..
Whatever. Don't project your ideals and beliefs on other cultures.
Minty Hash lol you eat dogs
The roast beef has a gelatinous texture in the bag before it's tossed in the oven.
the myth i fell for
colonel sanders has 5 or more hands
Brandon Mongelli no,no, that was a third leg...
See?! Society deceives you!!!
Lol we've had starbucks on every base I've been on.
I worked at a chicken hatchery for several years. Yes we did get chicks with 4 legs, but they were "siamese twins" not mutants, and they never survived more than a few days.
Chinese do eat cats though...
Lee Epstien if u need protein eat your own eye👍
I think you used bullshit in your posting.
armadillotoe I think your the one posting the bull shit here bud
Jt Rampage lmao
armadillotoe than read the case. It’s public records.
No, not BS.
Notice how they kinda skipped over the rat one without explaining it
*20+ years ago, a lineman working on an electrical tower contacted the health department after seeing defeathered chickens hanging from a clothesline behind a Chinese restaurant.*
DocBravo maybe they just didn’t support the war back then
I was IN that war.
I don’t believe you. Love, an Army veteran that got Starbucks everyday on post for about 4 years.
While you are not a bloody thirsty killer the organisations sending you into war are.
Mice, rats, and chicken heads??? That Good Louisiana cooking!?! :>)
Is it a coincidence that I got a kfc ad?
In fact almost none of the meat you get at American fast food chains has a quality high enough to be legal in Europe.
No comment on the horse meat scandal from a few years ago.
You do know that not all of us condone eating our companions, right?
Most Asians never eat dog or cat meat.
that KFC bucket, it's always overflowing with chicken. right. Have you ever gotten an overflowing bucket of chicken?
me neither. not even spending $30.
And that's their signature scam
I have
KFC=Kids Fattening Centre
LMG Warren your comment was lame
You must be fun at parties lol
More like Kentucky Fried Children
Kentucky Fried cock
Kentucky Fake Chicken
Starbucks in 2020 didn't Support Law Enforcement - which why we boycott Starbucks
where is Mcdonald PINK SLIME ?
Ernest Jay no one is dumb enough to believe that any more
@@menahelsultan3389
I think you'd be surprised how dumb people can still be!
They are talking about "myths." If something is true it's not a myth.
I get so sick of nonsensical attacks on restaurants like these.
I heard they became KFC cause they don't wanna be known for fried chicken cause roasted is healthier.
dont eat the skin of the fried chicken, its just as healthy
MsUn PC i love the skin of fried chicken, people just over eat, or eat crappy food
Without chemicals life itself would be both impossible and boring.
armadillotoe fried is my fave
I've heard they did it so they could stop paying royalties to The State of Kentucky.
I used to work at Wendy’s. The meat is the old dry crusty meat that has been left on the grill too long. At the end of the day, the meat is all white and yellow and smells gross. It’s chopped up and later put in the chili.
I find a common theme with all these myths except Starbucks. They all have problems with their animal carcasses.
Wendy's chili meat is the same ground beef from their burger patties. When I worked there as a teenager, burgers would fall apart on the grill, so instead of wasting it, we would cook it into chili.
Starbucks doesn't hate our armed forces . Actually , they hate America .
God bless this shit hole! :D
true
Yeah Starbucks and Trump hate America!
Just about everywhere hates America
Nobody likes America..
JapaneseHeavymetal And who honestly cares if they are anti-military?
Abraham 302 *Has a name and picture of a guy who represents freedom. Says fuck you to military. Fuckin commie piece of shit.
It's still a digusting brand with dirty coffee shops and awful coffee.
They (Starbuck's) also donate coffee to local homeless shelters.
Glad to hear it. Nobody should support isreals thugs
I worked at McDonald's in the mid 90's. Unless you ordered a meal that came with fresh eggs we always used eggs from a carton. All breakfast sandwiches used eggs from a carton.
What is wrong with horse meat in chili? It is a delicacy in Ethiopia...
Anything not starvation is a delicacy in Ethiopia
Michael Cole what about Tide Pods? Those are a delicacy in the U.S. even though we are not in starvation.
it is a delicacy in many countries, including most of Europe. And it is much helathier than most other types of meat....delicious.
Joesph pls, we have no food to eat and the germans are here my babuskha is diyng pls hel p ;-;
ooohh! Great Stali n thak u, our savior!!
people don't think about how strict the food industry is. A lot of myths out there could never even occur due to laws and regulations.
Not a myth: McDonalds puts 9 nuggets in the 10 nugget box.

While I believe most of what you said in the video, you used snopes for every source and snopes is not a reliable source.
Snopes is probably the most unreliable source there is, besides mainstream media
Yes very unreliable like the media, we need an orange guy with a horrible blonde wig who cons people for a living to tell us the facts because he don't lie and he's never wrong
Trollelski Trollington yes instead we should listen to some loser on the internet who still thinks troll face is funny. Gtfo
Prove your claim by posting a Snopes post that is false (with proof). I dare you.
Post proof of a single lie that they have published. I dare you.
I've been a manager at Rally's and an employee at Wendy's. I've also been an employee at other fast food chains. those two restaurant chains versus other restaurant chains is that they have a hot side of the grill and a keep warm side of the grill so at Rally's and Wendy's versus other restaurant chains when it's time for the meat to be discarded because it's all dried out and of no use they actually put it in pans and set it to the side and use for their chili other fast food chains that I have worked at they discard this meat
plot twist : all these myths are true
How stupid can people be to think that McMuffin eggs are cracked and falls out perfectly round?
These look delicious.
Whenever I make tacos, I start with beef, then I add other. Such as yeast, and sand, maltodextrin, isolated oat product, soy lechtin, etc. ya know, like Taco Bell does. Because that’s how to make a beef taco.
Don't forget the protein. Protein (Soy)
I would like to buy a hambourdergeurr
Pink Panther?
In some Chinese restaurants, traditional fake meat may be used. They are made of wheat gluten, by developing gluten in wheat dough then washing the starch. The texture is similar to chicken meat, and with good addition of bone broth and seasoning can also tastes the same.
People say Chinese people have dog in their food because in places in China they eat dog and cat
That's like accusing Americans of putting snakes in their food because some places in America serve snake for the lols.
Terrible example. Many cultures across the world eat snake. How about accusing America of being racist because of a small minority? Oh wait EVERYONE does that.
Many cultures around the world eat dogs and cats too. I was making an example.
Mmmmmm pussy (tat) & Fee-fee rolls.
MrCorvusC cause people are dumb...
I love taco bell is very delicious
Using Snopes as your facts checking source puts the whole episode into question.
Maybe not dog or cat, but you forgot to mention deer www.wsoctv.com/news/local/deer-found-dead-side-road-taken-chinese-restaurant/103281744
Venison is good meat.
You must be a Yankee, deer meat is very good!
TheGrays not when it's roadkill
Venison is healthier and leaner than beef, not to mention it's typically more expensive (unless you're hunting it yourself), so why would venison be a bad thing?
You must be a Limey; plenty of us Yanks eat venison like it's going out of style.
They don't use horse meat to make the chili, but they do use old patties that are close to their expiration date for the meat
Mmm Burgers nomnom
would you like any fries or drink to go with that sir?
BigMac Mick Fuck. Im hungry
Can i have some fries and a McChicken please? I would like some Ice Tea with that. :)
Also a family member worked at Arbys and the "meat" they use is a powered "meat product" firmed up or held together with fat. Its gross
Thank goodness someone is setting the record straight and defending these poor corporations.
Hardies Hamburger chain closed down in Australia in the early 80's because they got caught using dog food, when garbos found empty dog food cans in the Hardies restaurant garbage.
At one point in time I did think the eggs were fake, until my first day on the job and I was like wow real eggs.
Honestly if everyone expects that they MUST eat meat that comes from chickens, cows, pigs or fish they are just insane.
5:48 is a movie called "good burger"
edit: (spoiler for the movie) welcome to good burger how may I take your order?!
is there a review like this for A&W? My friend Lazlo ate around 20 Mama Burgers in the last two weeks. is there anything he should avoid/not recommended by employees of A&W ?
Doesn't change the fact that Starbucks coffee still tastes like you're drinking charcoal.
Number 15:Burger King Foot Lettuce
The last thing you'd want in your Burger King burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get.A 4channer uploaded a photo to the site anonymously to the site showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce with the statement "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King".Admittedly he had shoes on but, that's even worse.
A local Chinese in my hometown got shut down after someone bit in to meat containing an RFID chip. At the same time, cats had been going missing. It's not just a racist myth, it's happened at least once.
as a former mcdonald’s employee i can confirm that the eggs are fresh and cracked in the kitchen
Its actually no secret that most fast food places only change the fry oil every month
