Oh my goodness lady, you won the judges over before playing a note. That's some serious maturity that you'll come to bank on in your madly successful career. I'm so jealous, but that's because I'm alive. btw, I always noticed that Simon is impressed when his finger rests on his chin. This is the first time I ever saw him do that before the act.
If you noticed Simon's body language at the very beginning of her set and the transition to the end when he said Mia was "genius." Of course he knew immediately what we've all known for years. Mia Morris is willing to do the necessary things that other young artists are not. Pure and simple.
Also another thing. I've worked with Howie Mandel in the past and he does not pass out comments like he did with Mia at the beginning. That's not his style.

i've definitely seen people in comment sections on other channels like agt's that clearly know more about me than just that audition. that gives me huge smiles to read when they are looking out for me like a small internet gang. part of me would love to do well on there just for the people that have supported & encouraged me so they can be, "right" about me - lol. ultimately though, i'm always happy when i get to do shows so whatever comes from agt is all a bonus in that regard. i'm honestly so impressed with how they've embraced me doing my own songs and my own thing.

thanks Sam, i really didn't feel much nerves by the time it finally came around. i had some thinking about it and getting the gear on a plane, set up & functioning but once the crowd/stage & show was happening it was just exciting and fun.
OMG when I seen you on there I was like, Nooo way!!! I was so happy. Good luck in Round 2. When I lived in Duarte, 10 miles east of Pasadena, I would walk around there for exercise. That place was brand new. Pasadena's a cool little town. Its wild seeing it on television. You have my vote to win the whole thing. Tell the crew not to put your kit on a riser. speak up. Mia, hello there. Greetings from Russia. Just watched your performance and it's very rarely that I like it so much to go further and research the performer, you know... I wanted to say to keep going and keep rocking. You are lucky to have such an awesome dad and overall posibility to do what you like. Many of us dreamed to have such possibility when we were young (your age, for me it was 90s, very dark times for Russia, when nearly all people were in poverty), now when we are 30+ and finally can afford the instruments, but it's not the same. Train is gone. So value what you have and go on the same spirit. Take care.

First I thought not to write more, since you get a lot of comments and pretty busy again nowadays (another AGT performance ahead, right? Good luck to you and have fun there!), however I want to add that I listened and watched all your original compositions/music/songs in last 2 weeks, at least that you shared publicly on YT, and I was pretty impressed by your creativity and even versatility, also by the speed of your progress over the years. It's hard to impress me, take my word, I've seen nearly everything there can be seen (I like to dig deep in the past and to make collections, you know). I wanted to ask if creative direction is on you solely personally as well? Or somebody helps? It's a brilliant creative act in "fu2", for example. Idea, direction. Quite brilliant. But favourite composition of yours for me is "Only When It Rains". Of course I'm biased in this case especially, since I was making '500 Greatest Compositions About Rain' in my past time, was collecting for more than 20 years, so... But still it's an excellent piece of music. It's pretty rare when person have great musical talent, music composing along with songwriting. Like Mark Knopfler, for example, you know, one of all time favourites for me in this sense. /I like your lines about narcissus, narcistic people, I had a relationship with one latent narcistic person, and can tell you, better to tear all contacts with such people better sooner, than later. Just a recommendation for your futute. However you will see for yourself. I don't give advices when not asked. Just recommendation. And I see that you have still a lot more potential and growth, so polish your art and talent with hard work. You are wonderful the way you are, but keep working and polishing your mastery. Lyrics, logos and word play are interesting in many of your songs too. Good job. Really well done, Mia. Bravo. Sorry for all possible misprints and mistakes in English, but as I said earlier I'm from Russia and learned English by myself, not too much practice, even while I write and work a lot in English (mostly technical stuff), but still, nearly no live contacts and conversations with native English bearers/speakers. I also wanted to ask, if it's not too much to ask, maybe I will be in California in October this year or maybe next year (or when it happens), is it possible to make a interview with you for a Russian site (tho it is an old site for VGM music and composers, I was doing those interviews in the past), but still, I think it would be fun and also would help you to get recognition out of the US, in CIS countries, at least in Russian langue countries. Or just hang out, whatever. It's a long road, different continent, I rarely go to US, so... But I understand that you live 2000 miles away from California, right? So it makes it harder. thank you TK. i've blundered that stick-trick way more than half the time in live settings since it's pretty random. i have to swing pretty hard to get any height so when it's sideways, it has momentum :) anyway, i plan on having fun with everything i do on that show because whenever i go out, i want to have been doing exactly what i wanted at the time.

thanks Sam, i really didn't feel much nerves by the time it finally came around. i had some thinking about it and getting the gear on a plane, set up & functioning but once the crowd/stage & show was happening it was just exciting and fun.
OMG when I seen you on there I was like, Nooo way!!! I was so happy. Good luck in Round 2. When I lived in Duarte, 10 miles east of Pasadena, I would walk around there for exercise. I watched your tryout at AGT, and let me tell you, you had me from the get-go. From the beginning of your performance, I couldn't do anything other than be glued to my monitor. I can only imagine how amazing it must have been to be with the lucky audience that saw your art in person that day. You are only 17, but you are already a star. The sky is the limit, sweetheart. Hey Mia. Never would I have thought I would say this to a 18 year old girl but here goes : YOU'RE MY HERO. The drum-stick-trick was a risky move, but you pulled it off! Icing on the cake for sure. They even featured you in the show's intro. Geez, I'm jumping from one thing to the next but I'm so excited for you. At last time I looked before posting this you were at 1.6 million views and rising on day 2 after broadcast appeared on RUclips. now the show has aired I predict a lot of ppl will find your RUclips channel and the views on your other original songs will sky rocket 🚀 . Mia, hello there. Greetings from Russia. Just watched your performance and it's very rarely that I like it so much to go further and research the performer, you know... I wanted to say to keep going and keep rocking. You are lucky to have such an awesome dad and overall posibility to do what you like. Many of us dreamed to have such possibility when we were young (your age, for me it was 90s, very dark times for Russia, when nearly all people were in poverty), now when we are 30+ and finally can afford the instruments, but it's not the same. Train is gone. So value what you have and go on the same spirit. Take care.

First I thought not to write more, since you get a lot of comments and pretty busy again nowadays (another AGT performance ahead, right? Good luck to you and have fun there!), however I want to add that I listened and watched all your original compositions/music/songs in last 2 weeks, at least that you shared publicly on YT, and I was pretty impressed by your creativity and even versatility, also by the speed of your progress over the years. It's hard to impress me, take my word, I've seen nearly everything there can be seen (I like to dig deep in the past and to make collections, you know).
I wanted to ask if creative direction is on you solely personally as well? Or somebody helps? It's a brilliant creative act in "fu2", for example. Idea, direction. Quite brilliant. But favourite composition of yours for me is "Only When It Rains". Of course I'm biased in this case especially, since I was making '500 Greatest Compositions About Rain' in my past time, was collecting for more than 20 years, so... But still it's an excellent piece of music. It's pretty rare when person have great musical talent, music composing along with songwriting. Like Mark Knopfler, for example, you know, one of all time favourites for me in this sense. /I like your lines about narcissus, narcistic people, I had a relationship with one latent narcistic person, and can tell you, better to tear all contacts with such people better sooner, than later. Just a recommendation for your futute. However you will see for yourself. I don't give advices when not asked. Just recommendation. And I see that you have still a lot more potential and growth, so polish your art and talent with hard work. You are wonderful the way you are, but keep working and polishing your mastery. Lyrics, logos and word play are interesting in many of your songs too. Good job. Really well done, Mia. Bravo.
Sorry for all possible misprints and mistakes in English, but as I said earlier I'm from Russia and learned English by myself, not too much practice, even while I write and work a lot in English (mostly technical stuff), but still, nearly no live contacts and conversations with native English bearers/speakers.
I also wanted to ask, if it's not too much to ask, maybe I will be in California in October this year or maybe next year (or when it happens), is it possible to make a interview with you for a Russian site (tho it is an old site for VGM music and composers, I was doing those interviews in the past), but still, I think it would be fun and also would help you to get recognition out of the US, in CIS countries, at least in Russian langue countries. Or just hang out, whatever. It's a long road, different continent, I rarely go to US, so... But I understand that you live 2000 miles away from California, right? So it makes it harder. But still possible, it's more about wish and priorities. I understand that it's strange, because we don't know each other for long. Anyway... I don't think it (my production) will be viral or anything, but still, if you wish, I would like to meet with you and your family, and there is quite a narrow cult resource for music lovers. It's game ost ru, but I doubt you know it, if you are not fan of great VGM music, composers and Demoscene. In the past I made some with Frank Klepacki, Paul Romero, Josh Randall, Puple Motion, Necros and some other legendary people, who I can call nearly friends, was in contact with them since 2000s. thank you TK. i've blundered that stick-trick way more than half the time in live settings since it's pretty random. i have to swing pretty hard to get any height so when it's sideways, it has momentum :) anyway, i plan on having fun with everything i do on that show because whenever i go out, i want to have been doing exactly what i wanted at the time.
