Happy, Happy Helloween!!! I loved this band when Kiske was still in it . They lost the " Happy " after Kiske and Ingo left .
Michael Weikath looks like Ozzy those days
I tried to translate this interview, this is the result. I gave up on trying to pick up all the talking over each other and side conversations after about 30 seconds. Also the portion with 'annoying' and 'bothering'... It's the same word in German but different English words worked at different points in the conversation slightly losing the pun (sorry). Anywhere here it goes:
Interviewer (G): Well, Helloween have gathered around me, all have come, how nice. But you’re all very impatient because everyone wants to see Hellowe - no - Metallica, who are already playing on stage over there. Still, a few questions. How are you feeling as the sole German band here?
Kai: Er, great, like the sole German band here. So, fine, pretty fine, yeah.
Ingo: It was really a lot of fun to play here.
Weiki: I’m feeling like 1 German band.
G: Weren’t you terribly nervous earlier?
K: No, no, no, no... (some more intelligible words)
W: That’s not true.
Markus: It obviously wasn’t a normal concert, but it was pretty nice. (G: Do you like... Really?) It could stay like that, yeah.
Michi: I think the concert is always too important and the people here are all to important, that’s all too important for me. You can’t really try to be relaxed here, all ‘important’. And Kai Hansen is also incredibly important with his sunglasses and, anyways (Ingo laughs), we’re all way too important.
K: I wanted to buy much bigger ones because these ones are too small. Tomorrow, I’ll have sunglasses like this (shows size with hands).
G: Tomorrow it will continue in Pforzheim. How much do you like the bands that are playing here today?
M: Metallica is the best, yes, Metallica is the best. And Purple are pretty sick and Dio are pretty sick, and with the others... Pretty Maids is quite good as well.
Mk: I like them, too, I found them great as well, Pretty Maids. Actually, every band that’s playing here also deserves to play here.
G: Yeah, why weren’t you at Castle Donington? Why did they not get you there?
I: Because we were in Italy at the time.
M: Yeah, we were letting the sun shine on our stomachs and said we couldn’t come. No, they didn’t ask us, I don’t know [why].
G: Do you have contacts to other bands? Do you meet them, or...?
W: Could be better.
M: Yeah, it could be better because they don’t really show themselves. We get along with Craig Goldy quite well, and with Jimmy Bain, they’re pretty nice. And Pretty Maids as well but we didn’t really see the others.
Mk: But I think, they’re all doing their photo sessions here and there, and interviews, so you really don’t see them a lot. Everyone’s busy somehow...
G: Yeah, it’s pretty different than you commonly assume. Everyone’s just running around and...
Mk: Well, I didn’t really make any assumptions.
W: I heard there would be celebrations, unity and maybe a few orgies but, sadly there isn’t...
G: Well, you can’t change that. There’s a lot going on with you right now, you’re completely in the market right-
K: My buttons are always falling off!
G: Your buttons are falling off, maybe that’s something for your specific fans, would be funny if you tell us more.
K: If you have some spare buttons at home, I could use a few (W: We have the Button-Fall-Off-Syndrome), that’s what they look like, could you put the camera... Buttons like that, if you have them...
G: Aren’t you a bit annoyed about everything that’s happening around you right now? (Ingo pretends to walk off) I mean you are pretty stressed.
K: Yeah, totally annoyed. (Weiki pretends to walk off)
Mk: Kai is pretty annoyed, Kai is pretty annoyed and I.. I don’t know...
G: Well, be honest with me. Technically you want the success when you’re a musician and then it’s suddenly there and you’re bothered and angry at all the work you need to do...
Mk: Ah, come on don’t bother us now! He!
K: Oh, stop annoying us!
G: I mean, you can all go home if you don’t like it.
K: No, but it is really annoying. It is really annoying when you’re... (general chuckle) What I wanted to say that it’s the quantity. Interviews are cool, each one is okay but if you’re always dragged along and everyone wants something from you then you just start to feel like (he acts it out;3:10).
G: Do you ever have an opportunity to relax a bit?
Everyone: Yes, sure.
K: Sometimes, yeah. Just now in Italy to lay in the sun for a bit and-
M: You’ve experienced for yourself how stressed everything is here (G: I’ve had enough, too, thanks.) You can’t watch anyone on stage because everyone’s so important. The musicians themselves wouldn’t really be bothered by it but the crew doesn’t let you backstage and all that. You can have all the passes you want, you can’t watch it, you saw that for yourself. (Background complains by Kai)
Mk: There’s also about 30,000 passes around here and you don’t know which one you’ll need to get in where.
G: And then you always need to steal passes from someone else.
Mk: Yeah, I ate a steak at Phonogram’s earlier, even though I didn’t have a pass.
G: Tell me, what will be next for you?
M: After Monsters we’ll go to Spain and do stuff with Dio together... (W: Spain.) I said that. (G: With whom?) With Dio. (W: You didn’t say that) Then I didn’t say it. And then we’ll have a big break and then we’re going to America. We just don’t know how long... (Weiki is blocking out the interviewer by putting the mic cable in Ingo’s pocket)
W: That will start on 15th September...
G: Can you move aside, otherwise you can’t see me. I’m important as well, you know.
K: You’re not wearing sunglasses.
G: Yeah, but I can get mine out, you’ll see, they’re cooler than yours.
M: They’re bigger? Then you’re even more important, that’s right.
K: Then I’ll leave.
G: Okay, well, thank you for this conversation, it was very helpful and nice. Yeah, that was it, you can go and watch Metallica in peace now if you have the right pass. Okay thank you, that’s it! Helloween!

Hablan entre otras cosas de a donde les llevaran la gira de monster of rock , y dicen que iran a italia , españa (madrid) etc... Yo fui a ver aquel pedazo de concierto con 18 años , sin saber que nunca mas sería posible ver a todos estos pedazos de grupos juntos en un mismo concierto (metallica ,iron maiden helloween...) , no se si es por que ya voy siendo mayor o por que pero creo que aquellos si que fueron mejores tiempos.
manuel herrera tiempos que jamás volverán...y me pongo muy nostálgico al escuchar esas 3 bandas en cd's ....y casettes porque aún los tengo....solo que no hay donde reproducirlos

Weikath a sido muy importante en Halloween, pero su comportamiento de el es muy frio, aunque no niego que es gracioso.
3:40 Si se fijan como Michael Kiske le mira a los ojos a Weikath con temor y hala vez diciendo en su cabeza "q mrd haces?". Pues segun tengo entendido el que mantenia en armonia el grupo fue Kai Hansen porque era comico - Eso lo dijo Kiske, pero la comicidad de Kai hansen es mucho mas sano que la de Weikath. En este video mismo lo pueden notar. Lo bueno es que hicieron buenos temas mientras duro el grupo. De todas maneras yo admiro a todos en la banda. Por haber logrado a llegar a ser uno de los mejores grupos de Power metal y Metal en general.
