Hi Mandisa, I too have struggled with my weight...since I was 5. I've also lost 100 pounds, but continue to struggle. I thank God for women like you, women who have been through something, knows what it's like to be humiliated, stomped on and made fun of for being different. That's what makes us all the more beautiful as women, that God has put us through something for a reason, and the outcome it well worth it. I also love to do Zumba and really nothing else, except for Tennis with my Fiance. I also wanted to say that I watched American Idol that season you were on, and when Simon made that nasty comment to you...steam blew out of my ears! Because again I know what it's like to be made fun of for being overweight. However it also made me realize how we are supposed to react at Christians when you forgave him for what he said...That moment that you two made up was very touching. I must say at that time I wasn't saved and if he had said something like that to me...I would've said something I shouldn't have a possibly slapped him silly. It takes a Strong Christian woman to handle things the way you did, and I respect for that... I look forward to more encouraging songs, God is using you for His Kingdom, God Bless You and Thank You again for sharing your videos and sharing your music!
