After saying just last week that I wasn’t going to buy any… I bought some 🙈 Music: Chillpeach - Loading: • [no copyright music] '... My Instagram: / layla_crochet1 Kofi: ko-fi.com/layl...
Roving yarn is used for spinning (be it wheels or drop spinners), hence the "fluffing"; however, as mentioned on the bands, it can be used for knitting and crochet. I tried it on my spool knitter and flower loom (I loom/French knit) just before typing this and found that it works with narrow gauge (7-8mm gap between pegs, or 4/4.5mm crochet hook) and medium gauge (10-12mm gap, or 5/5.5mm hook) looms; higher than that is a no-go as it creates spaces in the project equal to slipping stitches. Another thing, as this yarn is primarily for spinning, it is guaranteed to start "fluffing" if you frog it more than twice.
I was looking at the "Roving yarn" as well .. 👀 It was soo pretty but also was fluffing all around. So I decided wouldn't be good for my Kitty Cat having all that synthetic fiber all over da space n place. 😶🐾 You said it might be designed for "felting". I wonder is it ment to be knitted up and then felted with the hot water like "wool felting", then it wouldn't fluff all around anymore. 🤭 I got d "Extra Sunny" Chunky yarn. 😎💖 Tell me why they don't sell knitting needles to go with it. 🙄 I couldn't find it anywhere, home bargains don't have them no more ether. So I am knitting now my chunky yarn with size 5 instead of 8. 🤭✨
@@dMi_mi ooh that sounds like a good idea! Hope your kitty enjoys it!! Maybe Hobbycraft has some? I’ve not knitted for years, I’d love to learn this year
