Jesus was actually ACCUSED by the unbelieving Jews of "making yourself God!" What a golden opportunity to confirm it by replying "Yes! indeed I am!. yet what did he say by way of correction? He said...waite for it! "I am God's Son" ( John 10;33-36)
'God man' is a totally UNBIBLICAL' term! Like 'trinity' 'incarnation' 'there are three persons in one God', 'God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit' all MANMADE expressions! No ONE verse in the Holy bible says ANY of these dogmas! As for the 'wisdom of the early church fathers', the majority of them were GREEK PHILOSOPHERS! Paul warned us not to heed them! Acts 20:29,30.
God is made by the Son - who is not omnipotent - and by the Father. But the Father - the almighty God - is just a SPIRIT here ("God is a spirit"), aka the "Holy Spirit". This means He is ABSENT because He only dwells in the past, before the start of the universe ("the world has not known you"). But from that distant time He is ABLE TO OBSERVE US and to take actions here. Before getting rid of his power, the Son was that omnipotent God ("He who has seen me has seen the Father"). The Son is now the ONLY ONE really existing non-omnipotent God, the Owner of heaven ("Then the King shall say...). The Holy Spirit inside Him is the Father-Spirit, no one else exists inside Him "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me". The Son sits next to the POWER of God (a thing) because He hasn't got his own. That power had been used for Mary's pregnancy for example "the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee".
