Everyone talks about 8-Ball, and sure enough his flank covering skills are TOP NOTCH,but put some respect on Curtis's name. The man was more than willing to supply the sarge with his own weapon. A true hero.
Not all songs so perfectly (and creepily) capture the essence of an encounter with an enemy in a game. This song sure did. (That's one Psycho I hated fighting!)
In case zero the best it's gonna get did it for me(this one to) because it's saying to chuck that this is what his life is gonna be now fighting zombies and psychopaths all day and night just to survive looking for food not to mention zombrex for katey amongst other things that is one video game character who gos thru hell
8-ball memes aside, this is totally my favorite boss track from DR2. It somehow fits well in a battlefield scenario. Also for a boss like Boykin it fits well going up against a military leader who's basically snapped being caught off guard by evolved zombies.
@Westerland5304 the only redeemable psychos. Outbreaks are pure madness, the evil come out to indulge in the anarchy and honest, good men are pushed over the edge into the abyss
"They force it in as you swallow, like words and cheap goodbyes, I'll burn it all just to light your eyes." "Skin tight rewards, and vendetta, ground zero in a desperate light, I love the violence inside your mind."
Holy shit his screams sound exactly like Wayne Static. I wonder if he was the mysterious replacement for their latest stuff and tour a couple years ago.
Yeah Klayton is Celldweller, and Blue Stahli is Bret, but he's signed to Fixt Records. Y'know who owns that? Klayton. They're like super good friends anyways, so they probably share a very similar outlook on things.
I'm quite happy he hasn't. Although it's good for the money for him and such, it's kinda nice knowin him and feeling all like, "Hehe, nobody else around knows him. =w=" Ya know? xD
Digital Gamer for his future releases, I don't exactly think so anymore. his debut was when he was trying to find his sound so he went for kick-your-ass riffs and vocals but now his lyrics are softer.
0:00 - 0:38, 1:56 - 2:20, 1:04-1:22, 4:00 - 4:06 My own arrangement of this track as a title sequence theme tune for any horror drama series. Feels like “No Return” in Yellowjackets.
+Taylor Gear This coming from someone with an X games avatar. Bunch of pussies who feel the need to prove themselves with "durrrr extreme sports!" yeah, you seem to fit right in :)
Hey Bret, I love your music, it has a mix power, message and pure insanity, but I have a question, what guitar and filters did you use in the the intro riffs at 0:23, I really liked that and kinda want to use it in my music. Thanks, Vlad.
Except Klayton would never let that happen. He didn't get where he is today without things like the Switchback video that encouraged you to take the video and put it everywhere else. They get much more money from the sales than they do RUclips anyway.
Alright then, that clears up any confusion I may have had on the subject. Thank you for telling me that, so I do not make the same mistake in the future. ^^
other channels that i have encountered specifically mention blue stahli and some even have links to his stuff at fixt store so there arent many copyright infringments. I as a true Blue Stahli fan however listen this stuff straight from the source :D,
tbh they all mention that the music comes from bret so it kinda makes amends but i m inclined to believe bret is too good for just this level of recognition
'I'll burn it all just to light your eyes' is unironically one of my favourite lyrics of all time no joke
"I'll whet your dreams of their ruin" does it all for me.
Everyone talks about 8-Ball, and sure enough his flank covering skills are TOP NOTCH,but put some respect on Curtis's name.
The man was more than willing to supply the sarge with his own weapon. A true hero.
gag.
Ahh. I love his voice. It sounds so... familiar.
I love the emotions in his songs
You should lessen to the acoustic version of this song that blue stahli made. Both of them are really deep
I know the acoustic version :) But I prefer this one. The other one is nice, but I just love the screaming in this one.
Ponyitalia yeah same :D I prefer his electronic rock lol
Yes! He's really cool too.
Ponyitalia which song is your favorite? For me anti you lol

With an enemy or a rival. Or a very passionnate encounter.
8 ball is still the hardest boss to this day
@Paul Bell The joke landed behind you.

*grunts* GIMME YOUR GUN, CURTIS!
I always wonder what it would be like to hear this back in the 70s/80s/90s. Still hot today.
Or the 90s!
Marilyn Manson would shit and piss himself in total fear from hearing this track of Blue Stahli!
"RRGH IM OUT, CURTIS, GIVE ME YOUR WEAPON!! YOU WANT SOME?! COME GET SOME!!" Dwight Boykin, badass boss
This song sends chills down my spine, because it's SO EPIC! It's insane how awesome it is!
best song of BS ever!!

The only boss in DR2 aside from Ted I genuinely felt bad for.

Col Ryder from Dead Island. He was noble soldier snapped.
@@Westerland5304Slappy too
I feel like he doesn't get as much props that he deserves. But in the end, he makes amazing music so who cares
"They force it in as you swallow, like words and cheap goodbyes, I'll burn it all just to light your eyes."
"Skin tight rewards, and vendetta, ground zero in a desperate light, I love the violence inside your mind."
This has to be one of the best songs I've ever heard, been listening to it every day for the past three years!
Your songs are so fun to sing along with. Your lyrics are top tier!
"8-Ball, cover that left flank!"
"First kill belongs to Daddy."
Best song from this album..
Dead rising 2 and this soundtrack are the best
Agree
Dwight Boykin...the only boss in Dead Rising 2 i managed to beat with only spoiled food to heal with 🍔🍔🍟🍟🌭🌭
He's the only boss where it feels like you have to take damage.
GOOD JOB 8-BALL!

The first two DR games had epic soundtrack. This was seriously lacking in 4
Dr4 lacked everything that made the old dead rising games good
