Thank you! Your instructions are very clear. I believe the flooding was being caused by a large piece of stiff foil in the filter as I couldn't find a hole in the hose. I replaced it anyway just in case I missed one. The hardest job was removing and replacing the hose spring clips plus getting the door boot seal back on. I also fixed the control dial which wasn't selecting by opening up the control panel and spraying in some WD40 electrical contact cleaner lubricant.
