It does. The class is balanced around the top 1% of players so if you don't do this stuff consistently it's actually pretty below-average every expansion.

It's 5 mins of 20-30 second clips so while most of them are completely insane outplays, its not like this is mandatory for rogue to be good. gladiator is full of rogues who dont even make plays like this, kalvish is just completely cracked.
@@taz_trader Why do you think it's the same rogues every season hitting glad? When DH is busted, a bunch of new faces show up and snag glad easily on the low skill cap class. Ret paladin strong? Say hello to 3 times the ret paladins that season, casual rerolls hitting glad. Whoops, warrior or BM hunter are strong, here comes the doubling of representation because everyone flocks to the class.
The same rogues hit glad every season because they're fucking cracked at pvp and have been playing for tens of thousands of hours. When rogue is strong it's still the same group of people. There are a lot of FOTM classes but rogue really isn't one of them. If you roll rogue as FOTM you're just going to be average, it's not a pick-up-and-succeed class.

@@joeykowk5216 Are you trying to somehow imply that Pika and Xar aren't two of the best players currently active as well? Cream of the crop rises to the top mate. The top 100 players are all elite, the difference as you go higher is just more consistency, but nobody is undefeated.

Another thing worth mentioning, he's doing these things vs. extremely good, often tournament level players. He's not Qing it up at 1500 styling on noobs. It makes it that much more insane
Kalvish is absolutely out of this world good, and he's such a nice dude too.
This is what i like about rogues, the high skill ceiling. So much potential if you just know how to play this class properly.

a great example of how important it can be to have a mouse with extra buttons and actually using them correctly, 2 or 12 buttons can matter its just about using them correctly

My wow pvp knowledge is pretty boomer, but this kid gives me glimpses of the mechanical genius that I saw in woundman back in the day. These are some of the crazies clips I have ever seen.
What I’m about to say is not referring to him but to the majority of the player base in most games based off a study i followed for a bit. While higher apm is impressive it doesn’t correlate efficiency. The study found most of the players who improved rapidly were able to efficiently take in the data on the screen had much stronger predictor of game skill than apm. So for all you older gamers you still have a chance 🎉
Except it seems like our APM and Data-Taking capabilities diminish as we get older. I was much better at both when I was younger.

pika keeps drinking alcohol every day, his brain is deteriorating at an unprecedented rate. when u have all the time in the world to do what u want and plenty of money, people tend to drink a lot. in a few years he's gonna be a shadow of his former self. case in study look at forsen and sodapoppin, they're just boomers now, their brain cannot match the youngsters anymore, not cuz they're 30 but cuz they drank a lot. they think slower, their thought process is slower. with each day u drink it damages ur brain by a tiny bit, and it adds up over time, years and years of drinking every day will do that to u. pika is heading that way too if he doesn't stop drinking every day. but gl telling him that, he doesn't listen.

He's hot some nice tech in these clips but the reality is a lot of what he is doing is all in. If the enemy didn't play Into the "predicts xyz" then he would be sitting g with a wasted cd and likely vulnerable. Pikaboo is a much better player. This young man is only gonna get better though so we shall see in time.

The fact that meld is still in the game in its current form is just mind boggling. Yeah you can do some cool shit with it, too much. It ticks too many boxes to the point that you cant actually play the game without it if you start getting good with it.

It's not that unbelievable that he preempts his opponent since their toolkit is limited by class it's typically pretty obvious what they're going to do.
@@-Kailinn- If you just guessed that someone was going to do something in a 100ms window and threw cooldowns into every guess all the time, you'd be hardstuck 1800. It's not a good strategy to guess the 100ms window that someone is going to use a trinket. So if he's doing it all the time, he's cheating. Plain and simple.
The thing that makes it tough is that he's good AND he's cheating. He's not a bad player cheating, he's a top tier player who is then cheating on top of that.

@@CyberneticArgumentCreatorIt's possible but I also just don't think you can say with certainty, and throwing out accusations without hard evidence is the wrong move. You're only seeing clips of every time he was successful, you'd need to see if he was ever unsuccessful and then you'd have a balanced picture. If he's perfectly on point every time it definitely raises eyebrows but they're not clipping failures or misplays to put into a RUclips video. Also you don't have to guess, people are predictable so it's not about blindly throwing out a sap, you can just watch unit frames etc and wait for a trinket use. Again, he could be cheating but he might not be either. I've pre-trapped countless rogues because I know with distance they'll want to shadowstep to me, there's a tiny element of guessing but it's pretty likely they're stepping. Likewise when I know they need to restealth I flare right as they try, play enough and people's actions become obvious because they're limited by their toolkit.

A good rogue controls the tempo of the game at incredible speed. A bad rogue complains about kidney shot nerf on the forums. And Pika doesn’t count I swear he trolls and knows his CC toolkit is absolutely busted.

Not trying to hate, but i think some of it is happy coincidences played up as "no no, i meant to do that". A lot of high risk machinegunning of cooldowns that people never do in a tournament setting because it works 1/10 times.

I respect the skill, but the game's balance feels off in this case. Imagine in AWC, if we had mutants with four arms-obviously, they'd have an advantage, being able to keybind far more abilities. Now imagine giving one class 160 keybinds and making it incredibly beneficial to use all of them.
Most people don't play rogue like that, and most people don't have 4 arms.
Unfair advantages like this should be addressed in the game. I'm not saying this player should be banned, but the rogue class needs a drastic rework. Start by pruning 70-80% of its crowd control and utility spells. Even after such changes, this player will still perform well on rogue and do great with other classes, so no need to worry about him. But for everyone else, PvP would see a massive improvement with these changes.
Rogue is basically an official exploit machine right now. There's no way the devs intended for the class to be played like this.
Used to see more of that in the old days, where people tracked their AA too. Especially rogue duels between the best were OP.
Still, Whaazz is coordinating his team better. His teams execute tactics flawlessly, it's not just him and I guess he is guiding them to it.
whaazz isn't a 1v1 or 2v2 player really. he focuses on 3v3 where it's more about teamplay and coordination as opposed to 300 apm energy drink andy which would be 1v1. and then 2v2 somewhere in the middle. in fact most of the awc players don't touch 2v2 at all, which is kinda frustrating as a 2v2 player and goldshire dueling fan.
I love videos like this. I used to love the old Neilyo videos from TBC lol. Whaazz doesn't care about stupid shit like rogue duels. He only cares about 3's with the same people he has played with for however many years, and winning tournaments. You don't win consistently doing flashy, high risk moves that look great on video but only works 1/10 times.

The guy is insane at predicting enemies and reacting, to a point he makes it look like hacking.
I would love to see him trying to do that with 200ms, you don't get such responsiveness from the game.

That is all great but also it is clearly only a rogue can have so much control and whatever skill level his enemy has he just cannot do anything about it.
And now with what feels infinite vanishes/2 dances/cloak avoiding mele attacks I think rogue control got to a level that is dumb.
One main problem from SL until now about rogues is dots no longer get them out of stealth because of some stupid OP shields they automatically get once they vanish.

So your point is invalid.. what About warriors 40 grap closers , DH 100% uptime, let about the amount of defensieve and offensives on a short cooldown..
AHK going crazy, I’m known to use AHK for saps/blinds at 2900+ but his flys under the radar
its gotta be fun playing the most broken and well synergized combo in the games existence (rmp) where pretty much nothing DRs and you can force people out of combat constantly.

Some of these saps are little sus idk anyone that can sap that fast after a trinket other than a bot or unless he is abusing the button spam program
He is 100% abusing bot/auto sap while button press is held type of thing. He's still incredible, but human reaction times are incredibly well known and you literally are unable to react in under 100ms as a human. So he's either throwing away cooldowns constantly to get that 10% success rate on the predictions and clip them or he's using bot/exploit programs.

You can sap a person and spam the ability. If the person is still sapped(until 50% duration), the 2nd sap will not go off. When the sapped person uses trinket is when the 2nd sap goes off.
@@draincatYT It's inarguable. Human reaction time is greater than 100ms, period. Consistently making DECISIONS and reacting at that speed means he's using buttonspam/bot. Stay glazing on your heroes.
