No BS No clickbaits No misleading titles No repetitions of the words 'insane' or 'crazy' over and over again. ... Man, you DESERVE more subscribers, and a better response. Keep it up (Y)
+Apex Why do you assume the worst of me when, as far as I'm aware, I haven't given you any reason to believe I'd become like that? It's comments like yours that are described perfectly by the adjectives you used because you're making baseless, negative assumptions about another person's character.
+Prajeeth Jeyakumar You must've missed this video: ruclips.net/video/LMLcmcdsehs/видео.html Varix gives you the effect of 2 grips now as well as a 10% increase to centerspeed. It very significantly reduces recoil now.
+Daan Gerssen For sure! Love that they buffed the sights. Varix 3 on the Razorback is AMAZING for long range. Varix 3, Quickdraw and Fast Hands, Stock, Rapid Fire and you're good to go.
Wow I didn't know this at all. I thought the 6% was applied to the rof, not the fire time so I have been using it on high rof weapons and avoiding it on low rof weapons. Basically it is the complete opposite. Thanks for the video Ace!
Very very VERY useful video Ace. Rapid Fire is an attachment that I like but don't know what to to put it on. Definitely learned some helpful tips today!
I enjoy rapid fire on the XR-2 and especially on the Pharo. As long as you are decently accurate it makes a noticeable difference. However, I don't find it as useful on the M8A7.
my experience with the burst fire weapons is that rapid fires most useful when tracking an enemy across you. (left to right, right to left). When they are cross you this way you have to track them for considerably less time when your burst gets out faster. basically on the xr2 it's something I can't live without. and with the m8 I will run it as a 3rd attachment if there's room
These guides are great Ace, keep up the good work mate! From what I can gather then a general rule is the slower the gun fires the more potent rapid fire becomes. This is the opposite of how it used to work iirc when it was a flat RoF buff in previous games. No wonder I find it so good on the LMG's and Shotties.
Great video Ace. Keep up the great work. But also consider doing these kinds of videos when BF1 comes out. Why not get even more views from the BF crowd too. More work, but it should be worth it.
I absolutely need rapid fire on the burst weapons. It's most likely a placebo effect caused by the original rapid fire mechanic. Great video, you're awesome.
I recently attached rapid fire on my M8 and I saw a decrease in the time between bursts. When I took it off, the time did increase; but that's just my observation.
Nice video! Defiantly some effort put into this one! The placebo effect is defiantly a thing always run rapid on the xr2 and m8 because I defiantly thought I could burst faster now that I know this might consider some other attachments!
Again an awesome informational vid. I was a new player to COD this year and your videos helped me go from being a complete noob to a pretty competent player. Personally I like running rapid fire on the XR-2 and the M8... It just allows me to melt people quicker and get more kills. Both guns are fine without though, just personal preference really.
Are you prestige 2 lmao. When I started cod, when I first started I was getting the hang of it, I realized just how little I knew. This applies to most things in life too.
Thanks ace you nailed this video as always. I will be giving the Xr2 another chance now. I'd love to see a video on a list of your favorite gun+attachment combos. So like "KN+high caliber" or "sniper+silencer". Basically the no brainers when it comes to what you should run on your guns and maybe a video on the exact opposite like "kuda+long barrel" or "grip+Varix"
ace can you make a Video about perks and their impact on attachment. For example quickdraw and fasthands.Keep up the good work .Been watching you since 10k subs.
In zombies if you have an SVG with fast mags and you drink Sleight of Hand soda (speed cola) you can reload between each individual shot and it's faster than the regular rechamber shot
rapid fire...good vid.helpful...your video is good and NOT alot of BS before video like most videos they are rambling, like tweekers & cant spit it out..your straight to the point!!
damn yoooo ace starts goin ham on these kids when he pops the overdrive at the 7 minute mark. ewwww at 7:35 he straight baited that dude to come through the hole in the wall filthy
I always thought that rapid fire decreased burst delay. That's why I always use burst weapons with rapid fire. It still does what I want it to do, which is get the second burst out faster, so I will still be running rapid fire with burst weapons. It gets the second burst out faster by reducing the time taken by the first burst.
Shoutout to Rapid Fire on the Haymaker. Get the benefit without really having to worry about any sort of negative. And with it taking so many shots to kill even up close it can really use the help.
great job ! well done man, pls keep going , you are the only one on youtube now has some "real breakdown or analysis" rather than copy each other COD player from HK
Noticeable difference to me. After reading this comment last night I went and tried it with and without and my K/d didn't lie. I was a lot better with it.
sample size is too small. you need a double blind experiment with two classes. One with rapid fire and one without. and then select classes randomly without you knowing which is which and then compare KDS
I was waiting for you to give your opionion on the gun you were using in the video? lol Does the Pharo need rapid fire? I see the pros using rapid fire on it. Really enjoy your videos btw!
here's why rapid fire is actually very useful in burst weapons. let's say you're using an m8 and you're in a gunfight. you're opponent is more than likely to strafe and not stand completely still. that means even if your first two shots of one burst hit him he'll avoid the other two therfore you don't get one bursts as often. whit rapid fire your four shots will be shot closer to one another which means one bursts are more common
Ace, I think you may have made a math error in your analysis. If there truly is a 0.94 multiplier to the fire time of all guns, then that is the same as increasing the fire rate of all guns by roughly 6.4% (1/0.94). This would mean each gun (except one-shot guns) receives a 6.4% decrease in its time to kill. Because of this, it seems like rapid fire is entirely based on preference and how it effects the recoil of each gun. Anyway, keep up the good work, Ace. Love your channel!
Burst guns: if you have the slot use it. Otherwise don't. Most of them are really good anyway. Note: I play on hardcore and like to sweep targets with the burst so the lower fire rate helps me hit more
Well, rapid fire on burst guns is fine unless u spray all over the place or drag while shooting. But if u first aim and then shoot, it's kind of essential :-)
+NST It won't hurt but it's not required. Basically, if you have a spare class slot, I'd pop it on but don't expect much out of it since you only really ever fire 2-3 shots to kill people so the time saving is minimal. You do save 17ms (on console) per shot with it.
+NST Personally what ace says is true but I'd not recommend it because stats say that but it's your trigger finger which counts, as if you look at jitter mods they fire out brecci bullets fast, which shows it's your trigger finger which affects it the most, not the rapid fire. Hope this helps!
I really really really like rapid fire on the M8. Even though the burst fire is extremely fast as is for some reason I do a lot better with rapid fire. I probably do think that this is most likely a gigantic placebo effect. Even though I'm pretty sure it is a placebo for what ever reason I get twice as many kills with rapid fire on it. Again yes I know that this is mostly likely a placebo effect. Since I have 10 create a class slots I always have one M8 with rapid fire and one with it.
so in summary, rapid fire on full auto's is more beneficial for low fire rate guns as opposed to high fire rate guns. use it on semi-auto's if you can, and def use it on snipers if you can (pretty much it?)
+Jason Dato You got the gist. I'd say the fastest fire rate gun to use it on is like the Kuda if you have extra points. Anything higher is kind of a waste.
If you think about it if the bursts are coming out quicker then the quicker it will be between bursts because you'll finish each burst quicker than usual and move onto the next burst quicker if that makes sense? Anyway really enjoying videos man so helpful semscure sent me a while back :)
I think rapid fire on burst weapons are useless now. The rpm is already fast , and like you mentioned , it's almost useless to put rapid fire on fast firing weapons I say it would be useful if it made the time between the bursts faster
+TheXclusiveAce Maybe I'm mistaken, but from what I remember about Driftor and his explanation of rapid fire, is that it was better to use rapid fire on higher fire rate weapons, since it was about a 6 or 7% increase in fire rate, which would obviously be greater of a difference on higher fire rate weapons. What you are saying is contrary to this? I'm just curious, and wanted to know what you have to say about it.
its not all as treyarch says it is. I agree with all u say, but for M8 and XR-2 is not the same. For m8 rapid fire works as u say for XR2 rapid fires bullet out of the gun faster. If you are extremely accurate with XR2, also low ping you gonna melt ppl with XR-2+ rapid fire. Otherwise better not use rapid on it.

+David Doerksen All I ever hear drift0r say on this matter is that it is only 6% and not really worth it! Never talking about difference in firetime and firerate! This was a video that was really needed, because no one has really talked about rapid fire and how it works! In the begining drift0r said that it was only 6% more, but then it didn't give more recoil, but seems it does do that!
Well since now by puting a varix sight on your weapon, the recoil is crazy low and makes rapid fire more useful. Until Treyarch patch that glitch atleast
I think it is a placebo effect with the xr2 but then again sometimes that gun melts and other times it shoots marshmallows regardless of having rapid fire or not but I do like my xr2 with rapid fire
+T-Bag Dildosnake Dude the relative change he mentions in the video is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is the absolute increase in the rounds you fire. 76 more shots means 76/4=19 kills more for the Vesper. 17 more shots means 17/3=5,66 kills more per minute for the Man O War. You can decide for yourself which one is better
+Boss J Desano Yeah you are right, but Ace doesn't even bother with the fact that on paper rapid fire is better on the Vesper. He just picks out those parts that fit his theory, confirmation bias at its finest
Just wondering, is frame rounding still a thing in this game? I heard it got removed, but I have no way to test it myself, and I know in past CODs frame rounding always messed with weapons' RPMs, which also ended up affecting rapid fire. I still remember Rapid Fire being useless on the Bizon in Ghosts, and the fire rate buff on the AK-12 Finger Trap in AW doing nothing.

THIS COMMENT 💯
+Norm Yesman Well the sad part is that in order to get more subs he would have to start using those clickbating titles.
+Norm Yesman
The sad thing is that honesty is now a rarity and not the rule of thumb
+Apex Why do you assume the worst of me when, as far as I'm aware, I haven't given you any reason to believe I'd become like that? It's comments like yours that are described perfectly by the adjectives you used because you're making baseless, negative assumptions about another person's character.
Better than Drift0r's CoD in depth on Rapid fire
Driftors was simple and told us which guns to use it on. They were both great videos
+IMx00 Except Drift0rs is pre-patch and has most info wrong
Drift0r gets his information from the guy who's helped him for years, doesn't credit him, then takes the correct numbers and makes mistakes anyway 😂😭
Awesome job as always. Last vid about recoil reducing sight heavily changed the guns I use. Vesper + Varix 3 = return of the god gun!
Ummm
+Daan Gerssen You have to be trolling, that is literally the worst optic/gun combo i heard.
+Prajeeth Jeyakumar You must've missed this video: ruclips.net/video/LMLcmcdsehs/видео.html
Varix gives you the effect of 2 grips now as well as a 10% increase to centerspeed. It very significantly reduces recoil now.
+Daan Gerssen For sure! Love that they buffed the sights. Varix 3 on the Razorback is AMAZING for long range. Varix 3, Quickdraw and Fast Hands, Stock, Rapid Fire and you're good to go.
I'll try it out!
I would like to see a video where you show your connection meter during game play where you are doing extremely well and when you are struggling.
Wow I didn't know this at all. I thought the 6% was applied to the rof, not the fire time so I have been using it on high rof weapons and avoiding it on low rof weapons. Basically it is the complete opposite. Thanks for the video Ace!
Ahh if u added 6% to rof it was fire slower. in reality its subtracting the fire time. if thats even what it does. 😂😂
Ace thank you so much. This video has drastically altered my setups for all classes.
Very very VERY useful video Ace. Rapid Fire is an attachment that I like but don't know what to to put it on. Definitely learned some helpful tips today!

this is the best Cod RUclips channel! keep up the good work ace
I absolutely need rapid fire on the burst weapons. It's most likely a placebo effect caused by the original rapid fire mechanic.
Great video, you're awesome.
Gotta love those outro cinematics. Great editing Ace
I really enjoy these gun guides lately keep them coming!

Best review in rapid fire i've ever seen, great job ace
THANK YOU. IMO Rapid Fire works quite well on Sheiva and I this data backed up my impression.
Again an awesome informational vid. I was a new player to COD this year and your videos helped me go from being a complete noob to a pretty competent player.

Another great vid. Glad there are some really good Canadian RUclips's I can support.
Thanks Ace I was looking forward for a good breakdown of rapid fire from someone.
dude ace keep doing your stuff bro. you on the come up
Thanks ace you nailed this video as always. I will be giving the Xr2 another chance now. I'd love to see a video on a list of your favorite gun+attachment combos. All of your content is so useful and detailed. Great RUclipsr!
Thank You Ace for this video
Was waiting for this
Ace you blew my mind now i have no idea what rapid fire does
Very useful tips man! Good job 👍
I run rapid fire on all my burst weapons. great video.
ace can you make a Video about perks and their impact on attachment. For example quickdraw and fasthands.Keep up the good work .Been watching you since 10k subs.

rapid fire...good vid.helpful...your video is good and NOT alot of BS before video like most videos they are rambling, like tweekers & cant spit it out..your straight to the point!!
BTW this is like the best gameplay I've seen from you, so intense

Nice job on the vid Ace, keep up the good work. 😜
razorback with rapid fire is beast.
Its nearly the same thing
Noticeable difference to me. After reading this comment last night I went and tried it with and without and my K/d didn't lie. I was a lot better with it.
sample size is too small.
you need a double blind experiment with two classes. One with rapid fire and one without. and then select classes randomly without you knowing which is which and then compare KDS
I agree that it's just me but who has time for a double blind lol
+PapaKay lmao I'm in middle school and I bet half the people who read this won't understand
07:24, that quad feed choke though
I was waiting for you to give your opionion on the gun you were using in the video? lol Does the Pharo need rapid fire? I see the pros using rapid fire on it. Really enjoy your videos btw!
I think yes because it's a burst weapon so after every burst you can aim on target again
here's why rapid fire is actually very useful in burst weapons. let's say you're using an m8 and you're in a gunfight. you're opponent is more than likely to strafe and not stand completely still. that means even if your first two shots of one burst hit him he'll avoid the other two therfore you don't get one bursts as often. whit rapid fire your four shots will be shot closer to one another which means one bursts are more common
On burst weapons it shortens the time between bursts (burst delay) and it does not effect how fast you shoot a burst out.
Yes I know
Ace, I think you may have made a math error in your analysis. If there truly is a 0.94 multiplier to the fire time of all guns, then that is the same as increasing the fire rate of all guns by roughly 6.4% (1/0.94). Because of this, it seems like rapid fire is entirely based on preference and how it effects the recoil of each gun.
Anyway, keep up the good work, Ace. Love your channel!
I'm a fan on running it on the M8, and to me, it does feel useful, but I do just fine without it. Depends on what day and what I'm feeling.
Nice channel I looked through your videos and thanks for no clickbait.
thanks ace u deserve more subs 👍
Burst guns: if you have the slot use it. Otherwise don't. Most of them are really good anyway. Note: I play on hardcore and like to sweep targets with the burst so the lower fire rate helps me hit more
Well, rapid fire on burst guns is fine unless u spray all over the place or drag while shooting. But if u first aim and then shoot, it's kind of essential :-)
the gorgon with rapid fire is amazing! Try it before you hate it.
Thanks ace! This really helped!
Should i put rapid fire on the brecci? Please answer Ace! I kinda confuse in your video. Nice video through!
+NST It won't hurt but it's not required. Basically, if you have a spare class slot, I'd pop it on but don't expect much out of it since you only really ever fire 2-3 shots to kill people so the time saving is minimal. You do save 17ms (on console) per shot with it.

+EpicJonah same
Well since its semi auto, it wouldn't hurt having the ability to more shots into someone.
Can you do grip next? I know you did one before but that was during the beta. Anyway great vid
I only run rapid fire on the M8A1 in the burst category but rapid fire on the vmp is godly
Thank you, this clears up a lot!
48 Dredge with rapid fire, ext mags, grip, fmj has been my go to weapon,.. Way to over powered lol 😊
I feel that Rapid Fire is good on the Pharo because I feel that I'm more likely to get a one burst kill if the delay between each shot is shortened.
+Abyssal Neptune I agree. That way I'm less likely to miss a shot because they got out of the way or something.
The Pharo is the only gun I use RF on. And it's also my most used gun.
That gameplay was amazing.
so in summary, rapid fire on full auto's is more beneficial for low fire rate guns as opposed to high fire rate guns. use it on semi-auto's if you can, and def use it on snipers if you can (pretty much it?)
+Jason Dato You got the gist. I'd say the fastest fire rate gun to use it on is like the Kuda if you have extra points. Anything higher is kind of a waste.

And btw I run rapid on my m8 feels alot quicker
Yoo, Ace, do you accept Pick My Class suggestions in the RUclips comment section too? Love your videos, man!
Thanks this really hrlpd out a ton!!
I really enjoy it on brecci
TheXclusiveAce > Drift0r
I think rapid fire on burst weapons are useless now.
The rpm is already fast , and like you mentioned , it's almost useless to put rapid fire on fast firing weapons
I say it would be useful if it made the time between the bursts faster
This helped a ton!
I run rapid fire on man o war, bursts, and razorback. Sometimes weevil but not usually
Great Job on the Video Well said
only usable on things like drakon tbh, that's about it, it's such a bad increase, maybe the vesper, but it shoots so fast it doesn't matter anyway.
The kuda with rapid fire to me is a melt gun, 108-23 on uplink with rapid fire, grip, long barrel, and stock
Thanks Ace.
kuda with rapid fire is god. well for my class setup
When I was leveling the ICR-1 I couldn't go positive without Rapid Fire.
Driftor made his pre patch
THE BATMAN True. I guess he never made an updated one? I don't remember seeing one.
its not all as treyarch says it is. I agree with all u say, but for M8 and XR-2 is not the same. For m8 rapid fire works as u say for XR2 rapid fires bullet out of the gun faster. If you are extremely accurate with XR2, also low ping you gonna melt ppl with XR-2+ rapid fire. Otherwise better not use rapid on it.
this really helps
hey ace ive been playing claw now but im thinking of getting a scuf, is a scuf worth the £155 (after ive customised it to how i like) or should i stick with claw also i was going to get the long domed and concave sticks (i have big hands) should i just get normal sized ones and use control freeks or large ones and dont use control freeks
+Dubushan I would get control freaks and switch your control scheme to bumper jumper
Rapid fire on xr2 is legit.
you never talk about LMG's this would have a been a good one for that
Xr-2 with rapid fire is the bomb
Kn44 with rapid fire is awesome
Hi Ace, I kinda wish there was somehow a more visual representation, I struggled to understand it
Thx for the tips
Ace some of your stuff is even better than Drift0r...just sayin...great video
I only run rapid fire on bust weapons, its seems to do the most
Same i like it alot on the pharo
Drift0r is great, but this explanation of rapid fire is much better than his! Thx!
But his was pre patch this is post patch... two different types of rapid fire
Well since now by puting a varix sight on your weapon, the recoil is crazy low and makes rapid fire more useful. Until Treyarch patch that glitch atleast
+JK47 Not a glitch, it was a stealth buff from Treyarch from the last patch.
I think it is a placebo effect with the xr2 but then again sometimes that gun melts and other times it shoots marshmallows regardless of having rapid fire or not but I do like my xr2 with rapid fire
rapid fire is great on the pharo
XR2 with rapid fire seemed noticeably better to me, I'd say it's legit rather than a placebo
The Vespr doesn't really matter. By the time one man is dead you have to reload anyway
Man O War increase: 17 RPM
Vesper increase: 76 RPM
= Rapid Fire better attachment for Vesper. Your Logic ist kinda off here Ace
Good days
Just wondering, is frame rounding still a thing in this game? I heard it got removed, but I have no way to test it myself, and I know in past CODs frame rounding always messed with weapons' RPMs, which also ended up affecting rapid fire.
