I live in a very remote town in the Northern Territory of Australia. I manage a Motel and if we have a problem with any of our equipment it can cost up to $1500 just to get a tradesperson out. Our fryer died, we got a gas Plummer from a nearby mine site to come and fix it. He couldn't work out what was wrong. He charged us $700. I just watched your video and was able to fix the issue in less then 2 minutes. Thank you so much. PS: I will tell the plummer what the problem was. and I won't be paying.
Hello my friend, thank you for your information. I have a problem. The fryer works, but when I turn the thermoses off and on, they do not work. The fire extinguishers work when I press the switch.
Nov 2024: Do these get rebuilt like carbs or other fairly complex assemblies? I'm in the middle of replacing a LP valve and trying to swing it economically. Great video.

I have to repair a fryer with this type of valve, the problem is that the pilot lights normally but when I open the burners it works for a moment and turns off. what could it be thanks
Never rebuild this gas valve. If you do and something goes wrong later, you are in hot water. When the county prosecutor learns the damage done was do to you doing this you could be looking at prison time for accidental murder.

It's a combination valve because it is a pressure regulator and valve

I noticed my vent valve has a plug in it. Is this normal? When gas cuts off, system knocks loud.

Check the vent on the regulator

He is not telling this so I will. Antifreeze in the gas can cause the valve to stick closed
