2024 It's so, so, so hot in Japan. Osaka, where I live, is experiencing a fire hell of over 40 degrees. The privatized electricity, water, gas and other utility bills in Japan are scary. It's similar when you think it's roughly two or five times the rate in Korea.
Family restaurants, where you can eat lunch and stay cool for about 1,000 yen per person, are the most common form of Japanese dining out.
