- Costa Rica has given me quite the welcome! Camping close enough to beach to fall asleep to the sound of the waves is always a welcomed delicacy. However just when I thought it couldn't get better... I woke up in the morning and I actually got to see where I was.. It was incredible!
I then made my way towards the Nosara. I crossed over a mountain range through the Diria national park. I enjoyed a beautiful evening dropping down in elevation during sunset until I made it to the beach.

& yes, jungle sounds can be alarming. I recall my first time camping in CR… I found the howler monkeys 🐒 quite concerning… they sure sound much larger than they are. 😂
Imagine if you didn’t know what they were. That would be terrifying! Even knowing what it was I was still scared haha but Yeahh all bark no bite

Very cool! You should do another review of the 500. Most folks don't consider it a touring bike but obviously it can be done.
Yeahh you know when I get back to the states I plan on doing a very in depth review on it. It’ll probably be like an hour long video.. all with chapters going over every aspect of the bike
Sometimes you have to weigh the risks. I think you made a good decision with the river crossing.

Pretty sure the raccoon like animals were Coati’s. They were all over when I was there last year and they’re not shy at all.
Also man, be careful with the spiders, I saw a wandering spider when I was there. But even more important they have snakes like the fer de lance that are nearly impossible to see among the leaf litter. Pretty much screwed if one of those gets you!
My friend thanks for writing this out! I’m sure you’re right. As for creepy crawlies you don’t have to warm me I’m terrified of spiders and snakes so I’ve always got my head on a swivel haha

Yeahh they do! And trust me friend, I’m always looking out for them. Normally though you never see an issue with crocs and vehicles.
