- This is a review on the DeWalt DCH263P1-XE 18V 5.0Ah XR Li-ion Cordless Brushless SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Combo Kit. I purchased this Rotary hammer several weeks ago and have been using it on site extensively to create this professional review for you.
As I talk about, being part of the perform protect range is a huge stand out for me personally, with the only complaint about this tool being related to the shape.
It can be operated using 5 or 6amp batteries. Has reduced noise, less vibration and still an amazing amount of power.

*I live in an area where I have about 12" of hardpan about 12" down so it was a difficult **MyBest.Tools** and back breaking task to dig a hole to plant a tree. This thing works great, breaks up the hardpan easily and quickly. Still not easy to plant a tree but the time and effort is greatly reduced. For the money it is well worth it. The case is cheap and easily cracks but the tool is good.*
Excellent review, covered all the features very well. I want one.
Thankyou! You won’t regret buying one!
Great review, a lot of useful information!
Glad you think so!
Excellent review how many 20*30 hole can drill with 5ah battery?
I want it for 2 uses first I want to open holes I walls and I will use the vacuum also cause most times I open holes in houses and I have to clean the mess but ... I want to use it also for digging walls not concrete is it as good as opening holes ? I don't speak for demolition just open channels in walls to pass pipes will it do the job ? I mean I don't want an sds and then spend around 700+ euros for bigger versions
Funciona para brocas de corona para concreto de 65 mm???
Can you use the normal 20v max batteries although this is a 18v?
20v and 18v are the same.
Hey friend, great review! I also bought this Hammer Drill (love dewalt products powerfull and versatile) and it is as awesome as you say! I was only wondering between chiseling mode and hammer drill mode most H/Ds have an option where you can turn the tip nose in the desired position... Is there any suggestion by your experinece?
I usually turn to H/D mode and turn it by hand in the desired position...
Thank you!
I’ve formed the habit of having my H/D in hammer drill mode, lightly tap the trigger so it turns into my desired position and then switch it over into chisel mode
