Thank you so much for addressing that Father's Day is hard on some of us, I really appreciate that. Most people jump to say you're ungrateful for not having a relation with your family. Thank you Jaquie❤
marti sirlin yeah I agree
Yeah. For me this was the worst Father's Day of my life. I'm glad people know that parents aren't always the best.
With fatherlessness being a chronic problem in our country, there are a lot of people who find that day difficult, even if they don't like to admit it. Throw in those who lost their fathers recently or close to Father's Day (or any day of the year, really), and fathers who lost children, and there are quite a few people who just need some peace and understanding on Father's Day. Same holds true for Mother's Day (especially bereft mothers).
My father died 6 Years ago so...
She looks so fluffy when she's clean.
love seeing Harlow after her bath 😂 it's just so entertaining
I no longer have a relationship with my father so I thank you for your consideration.
I absolutely love Harlow when she is having her bath time zoomies. Her reaction to Judd request to come was priceless. I haven't laughted so hard in a long time. Thank you for the joy. Hoping for an issue free week for you.
So nice to know my little Hippo could make you laugh! She makes me laugh every day (:
The waves on her ears are adorable! I've never noticed that before. She is a riot after her bath. Fast way to dry off. She is just too cute! Seemed like you had a nice Sunday. Sending prayers! I lost my father in 2008 and it never gets easier to not have my dad here on Father's Day.
Harlow's little joyful zoomy growls are just too cute. Made my day. ❤️
Thank you so much for having people caption your videos! As someone who's Hard of Hearing, this is amazing. The automatic captions are so terrible on RUclips. On yesterday's vlog when you talked about your feeding tube, it said 'Defeating Satan' instead of feeding tube. I was rather confused but at least I have partial hearing😂
Lucy Rogers yes! I am deaf and have the same struggle! Automatic captions are the worst 😂 Sadly not many people understand that
Sensory Disney Most days I give up and have somebody listen to the video while I watch it and give me what I can't pick up on my own😂😶 I'm so thankful for hearing people who understand that we NEED captions. It's not some 'special snowflake' thing or whatever😒
Literally laughing over here, "defeating satan." What the heck?? This is why I my ultimate goal is to put profesional captions on all my videos (:
Chronically Jaquie i have many fun stories about automatic captions! My teacher tried using them in class and it started captioning bad words and swears! The class was laughing and he gave up. I remember on one vlog of yours it captioned "rainbow penguin". No idea what that meant! 😂
Lucy Rogers I learned English myself, I'm pretty much fluent now. I just turn on the automatic RUclips subtitles to crack me up cause they can be funny as heck😂 glad jaquie is making her videos more accessible for people like you so satan won't bother you😜😂
Harlow has such a personality, lol I love it!!That's awesome your dad is understanding. I am very fortunate myself for parents like that. Yay for closed captioned videos!!!!
5:02
Jaquie: it’s stopped raining you know what that means
Harlow: moves back slightly
I just recently discovered your channel, and I just can't stop watching. Thanks for bringing us a little taste of what it's like to live with multiple chronic illnesses!
I love how her zoomies are the exact same every time 😂😂 she's such an entertaining girl you guys are so blessed ❤
I don't have a functional relationship with my dad, but I look forward to Father's day because there's usually sales on the fathers day branded chocolate and alcohol lol. My mum appreciates the alcohol more than I do, I'm more of a chocolate kind of girl than alcohol lol
That is a great example of how to look on the bright side of things! (: I am also a chocolate lover.
Have you tried making Harlow "speak" when she has the bath zoomies? it seems like she might bark without food!
Yep, we are constantly working on generalizing the behavior (:
She was making (happy) growling noises during part of her zoomies. Is that the same thing as 'speak'? I know she speaks for food.
I'm seeing my POTS doctor tomorrow to discuss possibly starting IV fluids. He's been against it in the past, but after ending up in the ER with a major flare up a few days ago, I really hope he'll reconsider. They gave me fluids in the ER. I was the first time I've had fluids during a flare, and it was so incredibly effective. Here's to hoping we can find a solution, IV fluids or not.
You are in my thoughts! Fluids help me a lot, too.
facemonkey13 Best of luck at the doctor's!
facemonkey13 hope it goes well, good luck!
I really hope you can get something figured out with your doctor! It's so unfair that we have to fight so hard for things that help us. I fought my butt off for IV fluids and it finally paid off. You know your body best, don't give up. Good luck!
I love those shorts! (but whose am I talking about though?) 😜😂
I like Jaqiue's!

Harlow is so sweet. Stay strong you guys!
I'm sick today and missing my service dog. Life without him is SUPER HARD.
Thanks for the vids, they put a bright spot in an otherwise rough week.
Thinking of you
You should make a short video with all of Harlow's tricks I bet that would go viral! And how do you estimate it costs a week to feed her a raw diet?
There is already a clip like that in my All About Harlow video (:
I found your channel on my own journey for answers and your chronic illness series has been really helpful. I saw a rhuematologist here in nz who diagnosed joint hypermobility syndrome, but wouldn't amend the diagnosis to eds based purely on the fact that my skin isn't stretchy. I've since had developing symptoms of other things that don't make sense- bp and heart rate issues, digestive issues, now what appears to be allergic reactions. I don't know if you'll see this but advocating for yourself can be so daunting, and watching your videos has inspired and encouraged me to keep seeking answers. so thank you x
So happy to know I have helped! I have a recent video called "How to Get Answers When You're Chronically Ill." It may be particularly helpful to you. (: Best of luck on your journey!
Chronically Jaquie thank you so much :) I'll definitely have a look. keep on keeping on beautiful
Rebekah-may w ....can you see a geneticist or even a neurologist to diagnose your EDS? In the States, at least in general, most of us EDSers steer clear of rheumatologists because it's not an inflammatory disease, even though we can struggle from inflammation from our comorbid diseases. That's not to say they don't have value and can't help you, but from personal experience, as well as many others I know, we have not had good luck with them and EDS. And I don't know what it is but those of us who didn't find them helpful had excessively bad experiences with them; rude as all get out. At least it sounds like yours is helpful to a point, so that's good. See an EDS specialist if possible. Best of luck.
samiamisme here in nz we essentially work by referrals so if the gp hasn't referred to a certain specialist we don't get seen unless we can afford to see a private specialist (which most people can't, and medical insurance isn't really a big thing here). I've thought about asking for a second opinion but the rheum doctor was so rude I'm scared of being shot down again. the gastro doctor conceded that the issues I'm having there are likely due to my autonomic nervous system not functioning how it should but then discharged me. it's all super frustrating but I've started taking my own research along to doctors visits. it's even emerged that the bleeding disorder I have and eds are quite commonly comorbid. it just seems that as I get older these issues are getting increasingly worse
Rebekah-may w ....that's how my insurance works as well and I had to convince my GPS that I needed someone else. Life is too short and we deal with enough crappy being chronically I'll, I would encourage you to ask your GPS for a more appropriate Dr that can diagnose you properly. The reason I say this is 1...the right person will treat you properly, 2...understand related issues and 3...should you need to have a disability claim the proper diagnosis helps (at least in states). You of course have to do what you're comfortable with. Sadly with rare diseases doctors don't always believe you and you may run into rude doctors and it really isn't ok. Your health is far more important than an ignorant doctor's ego. If you need some info to take to your GPS regarding why you think you have EDS, because here are the symptoms, etc, I can send you some documents or give you some resources. I'm sure you've been researching your tail off because again with rare illness we have to be our own researchers and advocates. oh! just read that you are! I have to read in sections. I completely understand the frustrations. Do you belong to an EDS support group that may be able to suggest better doctors? That's how I finally found all my doctors. Some are better than others. Do you think your gp would be receptive to sending you to a geneticist? Do you know which type you may have? feel free to message me anytime. I also recently found Jaquie and am going through her vids. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has great ideas. 😊
Lol Harlow you're making me dizzy!!!😂😂😂
The small packages of yellow rice are the best! Glad you had a better day. 🌸💖🌸💖🌸
You're amazing, I look up to you, thank you for all you do Jaquie!
she's amazing! i totally agree :)
Y'all are too sweet!
Chronically Jaquie it's true though! 💙 I mean, I'm only fifteen and I've been struggling with a bunch of stuff. my doctors kinda gave up on me when they found a brain tumor, so, I've been doing everything you advised😊 and ya know what? it's been helping! so now I'm on the road to figuring out why I can't eat anymore without issues (I love food, this is an issue for me lol)
point is, you help us out😊 #JactheInspirationalBean
I bet your dad is excited to watch the wedding vlog with subtitles! Let us know what he thinks? I live Harlow she is so funny
Hi Jaquie, I've only been following your videos for a few weeks now but I just wanted to let you know that your videos with Harlow bring me a lot of joy. As a child my family had two golden retrievers (one of which was trained and worked as a therapy animal). So seeing Harlow get the zoomies makes me very nostalgic for my boys :)
It's actually sad for me because after I came home from celebrating Father's Day with my mom's side of the family, my girlfriend broke some news to me and now her and I are on a break.
Sorry to hear that :/
Can't wait to see "the bath time zoomies" ;) When I had two dogs, they would run around the house like crazy after a bath, too - what a cute term for it: accurately descriptive ;D
I love how you guys buy so much protein for your Harlow she's such an amazing dog she definitely deserves all that special food :)
I was just asking myself when you would upload the new vlog 🤗 perfect timing!
AWWW HARLOW ISSS SOOO CUTEE
oh my gosh Harlow was too funny! she had me dying when she was running and growling after her bath!
This is one of my fave videos of Jaquie’s because of Harlow in this video 😂
That's so cool that even with your condition you still take the time and effort to take great care of your dog, even feeding her a raw diet. I bet she loves you so much for that. Mmm, pig feet. Amazing how well trained service dogs are, they don't even eat until you say okay. Good doggo.
My dog does the same thing, she hates baths but she loves how good she feels after and runs around like a crazy person lol
This is my favorite video.. Lol.. Watching her to be in young doggie mode running around the table.. . Because she is always so serious..
Harlow looks so light and fluffy after her bath.
She also sheds a lot after her bath, lol
For Rev, especially if you have a name that is spelled a certain way, it takes a lot of the guess work out for the captioners if you give a name list. Along with if you mention some of your chronic illnesses or any words that you think would be helpful for someone to know that might not be common knowledge, I think you can provide what is called a "glossary" I think.
Yes, that is what I intend to do from now on. But even without it, they did a great job!
Little Hippo pup is too precious!
My thoughts are with you!
+Chronically Jaquie I'm tearing up a little now.
Your reply has really made my day.
Thank you, I'm glad that there are kind youtubers like you. c:
I love Harlow's antics too! She's so adorable when she's had her bath. Even more so than usual ;)
And I just want to say thanks Jaquie for saying what you said about Father's Day (and Mother's Day a while back). It's very thoughtful of you to be considerate of those who cannot enjoy those days for whatever reason. My dad died 3.5 years ago so Father's Day has been rough on me and since I don't have a relationship with my mother, my dad and I would always joke that he was kind of my dad AND my mum, so I'd give him something on Mother's Day too. For both those days seeing your vlogs hearing you say these things has been really good. I appreciate it a lot, so thank you for that :)
We call my dad Mr. Mum as well! My relationship with my mom is much better now, but I can understand how difficult it can be.
That's such a nice nickname! I'm glad to hear you and your mum are doing better now. You definitely seem great together when she's in the vlogs :)
Thank you for understanding
aww this pup really looks like she enjoys making people laugh!
Father's Day is hard for me too ☹️ However, I choose to look on the bright side so I celebrated my mom yesterday. She is basically a mom and a dad and my caregiver all in one! Give it up for SUPERMOM! 🎉
My favorite video aside from her wedding video thank you Jaquie for the videos thank you for being and inspiration we love and miss you Jaquie and we all will keep moving forward 😊 rest easy now
"bath time zoomies", I love it! I wish my dog did that instead of hiding in her crate and acting like I tortured her 😂
Jaquie,
I have just recently found your channel and I have done nothing but binge on it since.
You really impress me with your positive attitude!!
I have several chronic illnesses including MS which in my case has many, many symptoms associated with it. The most severe are extreme chronic fatigue, brain fog, migraines and bi-polar depression. I struggle everyday with the emotional part of having chronic illnesses. I have a very hard time with the fact that there are days where I can function and then there are many more days like today that I have done absolutely nothing!
Ten years ago I was working my "normal" 70 hours a week and not taking a single pill of any kind. Now I can't work and take a total of 19 pills a day and injections 3 days a week.
Please continue to be the upbeat person that you are and always look for the positives in life!! You are a great role model for everyone including this 47 year old lady - lol.
Thank you for being you!!!!!!!
Laughed so hard at Harlow i was almost crying
Lol
Does she do that after every bath? it's funny to watch, you have to be out of the way so you don't get barreled by Harlow
Harlow is so funny! Also, I'm glad to see you had such a positive day today. :)
Judd and Harlow are soooo funny. thanks. I needed a laughter. hahaha lmao. he's waving!! I'm super duper happy. I've been have a not a good start week but thanks for making me smile!! you guys are the best!!
Jaquie,
I really enjoy your vlogs. I appreciate your honesty and struggles with your chronic illnesses. Harlow is super cute and Judd is such a great support system for you.
keep up the great work!
I have chronic illness and your videos helped my service dog in training!! You are so much like me it gives me hope to keep trying! Plus zofran is amazing stuff!! Saves the stomach big time! Happy adventuring!!!
I swear every time I see your channel you are up another 1000 subscribers!!!! 👏👏👏
Harlow is so adorable
Harlow being crazy and sprinting is gonna be me when I go to Harry Potter World!
I just want to say thank you for showing Harlow's zoomies. It made me tear up a little because she reminds me of my dog who lives at my mom's house.
Harlow is such a good dog! I had to wash my dog Doogle yesterday and he tries to jump out the bath (we use a shower above the bath). But he LOVES the hair dryer! We did it on the coldest setting yesterday at it was 25°c+ yesterday and it was killer! Us Britons aren't used to such heat lol
bryony mason my dog Molly is very similar, but we don't blow dry her because it is 110+ degrees Fahrenheit which is equal to about 44 degrees Celsius. We just let her air dry 😂
I love your videos! Your positivity is amazing! My dad has chronic illnesses, so I know iit is NOT easy to be in pain and discomfort all day AND keep a smile. Thank you for sharing your life, your days, your positivity with the world.
I didn't even know it was Father's day. Sadly, my dad passed away on 6/28/1997. Twenty years this year. Miss you dad!
adorable in your outfit 🤗 that sweet Harlow is so silly and fun. 🤗 Ranger panties! Judd you're a riot. Hooah!
I'm new to your channel but i'm already catching myself waving at the end of your videos lol..love you guys
thank you so much for the captions! i am bilaterally deaf and had a very hard time before them.
Thank you for being so positive! I also love how you think of all of your followers. !!
Omg her little crimpy ear hairs are so cute!
I laughed way too hard at Harlow's zoomies
Harlow is so cute! My dog does the same thing after his bath too!
I love that you call it the zoomies! my dog will do the same thing and we also call it the zoomies.
Harlow: "Does Dad have the stupid shorts on? Noooooo!"
How funny, we call our dogs hyperness "zoomies" as well!!
I was such a good Hippo for Judd! Now watch me run! And run and run.
This was such a great video :-) Harlow is the dearest dog! Thank you for sharing. C.
Did not expect to pull an all nighter but stayed up all night watching your vids
awww Harlow lol.....and those shorts though! lol
i actually looked up the 'ranger panties' lol
Adorable shorts!! I don't think Harlow wanted a bath!
Chronic illness is like that one annoying kid in school no matter how many times you tell them to follow the rules, they don’t, u poor thing, keep staying strong!! 😀❤️
OMG!!! That is what my dog does after a bath!
She is the cutest dog ever
My service dog gets to have fun, not only that hes going to have his own youtube channel, which im going to be starting here soon, so im hoping you will be able to check it out when i get the first ep. Up.
Just started watching your videos and i love them. Love from Finland Aland island !!!!!
Jaquie, I love you, Judd, and Harlow so much. I don't have any chronic illnesses but I've learned so much from you I can almost relate! I almost cried when you got married, you look great, and I'm so happy you have the feeding tube. Your were honestly in really bad shape and it made me sad because I was so dangerous for you to just walk! Now you going out in town, your cleaning, your doing a whole bunch more!! I remember like a month or two ago one clip you'd look okay then the next clip of your blog you were sick, pale, dark eyes, and almost have shut eyes just from walking!! Now I love you can eat orally without the stress. You're looking amazing Jaq, keep going strong, I'm here for ya!❤😭
Love the after bath zoomies:)
Love the zoomies! Yummy Tacos, my favorite🌮🌮🌮🌮
Yay, glad to hear the Patreon pledges are paying off!
if you mix rice, ground beef, beans, and veggies/ cheese of your choice and eat it with some chips, it's amazing lol
I love you two you are the cutest couple ❤❤😂 and I love your family your mom is sweet I saw her from a few of your videos 😃❤I'm praying for you you are such an amazing person and I love how you are taking this like a champ 😃❤
Harlow's little crimpy ears kill me!!
.....4 days without my Harlow fix. I was starting to get withdrawal symptoms!!
Harlow is such an amazing and energetic dog. She always looks so happy.😇😇😁😁 I love your channel. After I found your channel I have not and can not stop watching it. Gastroparesis gets better in the future. 😘 love you 😘
Jaquie I'm a new person to your channel but the first video I saw of you I cried I feel so sorry about your condition I hope one day you will have a day with no simyptums (I'm 12 I'm really bad at spelling) or not having the condition at all. Have a happy life and remember we are all here for you.
Dog logic- if I don't move hoomans won't see me
Loved this video I've been watching your videos a while I just haven't commented I love Harlow antics it's like my service dogs shadow and those shorts are awesome! I am chronically ill also and I have a birth defect called cystic hygroma! I love seeing other people who are also sick like me ❤️
you look like you feel so much better since the feeding tube!
So cute puppy
the dog is got so much energy I wish that I had energy like that and I'm so glad that you're doing better today I am pretty sure that we were all worried about you the day that you are not feeling well I'm glad to see that you're full of spirits today and I hope that you keep up your spirits through the hard times you're having and everything I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers keep up your determination and your willingness to fight your illness is day by day I'm in reading some comments in everybody's been posting online about your video and I just love the inspiration that everybody has for you guys and I think it's wonderful to see so many people behind you one-hundred percent it's great
