Chronically Jaquie Hi Jaquie I've been watching your channel fore a while. I myself have a chronic skin disorder, and I started watching you for inspiration! I see how you struggle with prepping days and if this is available were you live this could help you. They are ready made B.A.R.F meat balls. They come in "mix your own" and completed meals. You by them frozen, thaw them out and serve. If this is available we're you live you wouldn't have to have 'PreppDays' you just gone Hippo her meat balls and your gold. I've included some pictures of what the products in Sweden look like. Maybe you can cook Judd some Hispanic food inserted 😂😜 Really hope this will help! KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
It's absolutely insane what you go through. You are insanely strong and optimistic. Even though you have your struggles and obstacles, you have the patience to let your body rest and recoup. You are amazing, and you truly are a role model. (Harlow is so cute by the way! 💜)
Look up Darwin's Natural Pet Food. It is a company that ships a monthly supply of raw dog to your door. Perhaps this is something to look into as well if you ever wanted some help with the feeding. :)
I'm a paralysed wheelchair user and I have a 'Smart Drive'. Its a power assisted device for the wheelchair controlled by a bracelet on your wrist. I also have EDS, POTS and a few other and the Smart Drive has been a lifesaver. It makes it easier on your joints and reduced fatigues. I would highly advise that you look into it!
Adele Grace another smart drive enthusiast here!! i also have eds and pots and using my smart drive for long distances/bad days has been so helpful. definitely worth asking about because if your insurance will approve a custom wheelchair, they'll most likely approve a smart drive as well :)
Hi Jaqie! I'm glad to see your vlog every time. It's helping me going on every day. I have my chronic illness problems that are doing my day very hard. But you help go on and just doing the things I need and rest. And celebrate every little thing I have done okay.
I just love your attitude!! So many people would just give up or be bitter, but your positivity is refreshing! As someone else who has multiple chronic illnesses, it's wonderful to see your approach and it's encouraging!
Since comments were disabled for your autism video, I wanted to still tell you that I thought you explained everything SO well and clearly. You must have been great at writing papers in school, because you organized your points so nicely. I'm a teacher and many of my students have autism. I can see examples of what you said snit yourself in them. The brain is an amazing thing.
Jaquie, you have inspired me more than you know. I fight with frequent chronic migraines, chronic depression, and severe generalized anxiety on a daily level. The anxiety usually triggers the migraines, the migraines trigger vertigo, I find myself completely exhausted, and then I start feeling sorry for myself so there goes depression... and it just turns into a big downward spiral lol. I love how positive you are throughout your day and really push through it 💜 I am in the process of owner training a psychiatric/medical alert dog, and your channel has given me SOOO many ideas on things I can work on with my dog. She is an extremely smart sweet well behaved white german shepherd that is very in tune with me. I hope someday when my husband and I (and my SDiT, Sofie) make a trip to Disney (I'm a huge Disney fan as well) we will see you and Harlow there!! Sending prayers for you 😊 Your videos are awesome!
Truly appreciate how positive you are in every aspect of your life. It takes a special person to stay as positive as you do every day. Thank you for inspiring people like myself who don't live with chronic illnesses and simply have chronic pain issues to get up and continue to live my life to its fullest. 😇
Were you running away from Judd in your dream?? 😂 I finally managed to watch all your old videos! I had stopped watching the new ones until I watched all the old ones cuz I was getting confused lol. I'll be on the live tonight 😉
Awe! Ive been looking into starting my dog on a raw food diet because shes ALWAYS itchy. I think its food allergies 😩 But the prep/knowing what to buy is whats holding me back. Thank you for that link!
So glad you were able to take that bite of your cake it looked delicious. What was in it Jacquie? Glad you are also getting progress with getting your wheelchair from experience i feel that will make a big difference. So happy for you x
Those bundt caches freeze well! We have those here in CA where I live and I love them. Don't have them often because there's too many carbs but they're an awesome treat.
It kills me that Judd has to result to chipotle as Hispanic food. 😂😂😂 if you all are ever in laredo, tx check out Taco Palenque. Judd won't want to leave.
I know right?! Chipotle is NOT real Hispanic food. I live in California pretty close to LA and we have lots of really good Mexican restaurants and plenty of street tacos!!
Brynn Hanson I was talking to my friend who lives in Florida and I told her how I just remembered that she doesn't have that restaurant and she told me that there weren't any real Mexican food places and my heart died for her. I heard that cali has some good Mexican food there... do they really??? That's super cool. I need to make a trip out there. Thanks for encouraging me. :)
DaytoDay Makeup no problem! Yeah Southern California has some great food. My family goes to a lot of punk concerts and we always stop by this one really good place in Pomona when we go to the Glasshouse.
Brynn Hanson girl you're getting me hungry! Lmfao. I'm definitely going to look that up. If I'm ever in cali I'm hitting you up. Hahaha. Glasshouse that sounds familiar is that like a underground concert place?
You should swap your side table next to your seat for a storage table. You can still put things on top like a normal side table, but you can put your blanket and slippers and anything you want inside of it so they’re always within reach if you need them.
Harlow may not have a very lady like burp but as you were leaving the Drs office, I noticed she has quite the lady like wiggle. She'll get a lot of boyfriends with that wiggle. ;)
As a former patient of Systemic Lupus, I can relate to some small degree with what you are going through. I am happy to see that your husband is there to be there with you and assist when you need it. I was not so fortunate, but it was a good experience/lesson about relationships. Please know that I am certain that many people care about you. Please celebrate every day, no matter how "challenging" things are for you.
Your love for faithful lovable Harlow almost completely fills your freezer! She is one VERY BLESSED dog!! Jaquie, if you ever have the time & inclination to watch someone else's very interesting & informative vlogs, I highly recommend checking out The Frye Life......with Peter & Mary Frye. Just like you & Judd & Harlow, they are a beautiful loving family sharing Mary's daily challenges with her cystic fibrosis which she was born with. She has a great attitude dealing with her constant struggles, as do you. You & Mary are both highly inspirational & sweet ladies.
Alex Jordan ......okay Alex. Has she ever mentioned the name of hers & Judd's church? If she had revealed that, I'd like to google it. If anyone is at all interested, my husband & I are members of Huron Baptist Church in Sarnia Ontario. Our pastor's sermons can be heard online at the church site.
For the slippers, maybe superglue some Velcro (you can buy it at Michaels or something) to the bottom of the slippers so you can easily stick them together for a cheap price (Velcro supplies sells for about $5 for a bunch of those little Velcro circles where I live)
I'm early! Hey jaique, I'm so loving your videos, whenever I don't feel well, I watch your videos and somehow... Get so much better, yes, your awesome! I'm a 11 year old girl from Australia who loves your videos! I'm so glad we can be apart of your adventure, thank you so much! Also, say hi to Judd and Harlow for me!! (: I can't make it to your live stream because of the time sadly.. But I hope I can!
When I was young my dad used to watch a ton of Chinese historical dramas... The ones with martial arts and bad special effects! One night, I had a dream that a Kung Fu master was after me for no reason! I forgot about it until you mentioned your dream but at the time it scarred me!
It's so sweet of you to put together such complex and healthy meals for her. Have they ever gotten you on serious probiotics like VSL3? It's at Costco behind the pharmacy counter. But no script needed. Pharmaceutical grade though. Comes in sachets and capsules. Also, guessing you have, but have you had blood IgE food allergy/sensitivity testing. A thorough blood IgE food allergy test is definitely in order.
We feed our dog raw too. I'm not sure if it is following BARF protocol, but we buy frozen dog food patties with ground meat, bones, organs, and vegetables. We use Tollden Farms food, but there's other brands. What you are doing is probably better for your dog, but this way is more convenient and it might be a good option sometimes if you are just not up to prep day.
I don't know if you've been looking but Home Depot has a 3.5 cu ft chest freezer that is usually on sale (I've seen it as low as $99). If you need more space in your freezer. It's a small freezer.
Have you thought about getting one of those pet cams. You could teach Harlow to turn on the pet cam to alert Judd you had passed out. He could then call somebody to come check on you.
There are a few companies in my town that offer all the components of a raw diet put together that you can purchase frozen (they look like hamburger patties but contain organ meat etc) I wonder if that might be easier for you to do. You'd still be giving Harlow her raw diet but the prep work would be eliminated. You should check into it! :) (usually locally owned pet food stores will have a contact for a raw food company)
I should add this is what I do for my dogs! I just supplement the patties with frozen fruit, veggies and raw bones (the bones are purchased from the same company) :)
After Judd asked Harlow to get more taco's, if she ran to the door I would have lost it!!! Can you put the one slipper inside the other slipper? I would be nervous using a pin or something. Don't need it to stick Harlow in her mouth. Sending prayers! Enjoy your weekend.
Love your videos so much! I'm a new subbie and I've been binge watching your old videos. I don't have any health problems but your vlogs have made me so aware of what so many people struggle with everyday. We are the same age and I just wanted to say thank you for giving so many of us perspective. We all have so much to be thankful for everyday. Thank you for the smiles and laughs everyday. Harlow is so cute!! You and Judd are an amazing couple. I just bought a shirt and I hope you guys release more merchandise in the future!!
i just learned this morning where to comment. would like to thank judd for mission bbq. he mentioned we google and found one in south florida. really good food! jaquie you mentioned nothing bundt cakes. didn't know it, but they opened two in south florida. my sister in law brought a chocolate chip one with a sunflower 🌻 decoration for my birthday 🎉 last night🐾
I highly recommend checking if there are any local butchers that make their own dog food mix that follow the 80/10/10 rule. The one we buy from only runs $2 per lb and has everything we need in it! We just feed raw meaty bones on the side, as well as other bones for treats. I used to do prep as well but it completely took the life out of me. I once spent 5 hours straight on my feet before my back and leg finally gave out. I had to rest for the entire day just to recover from that haha. I definitely recommend you check it out though; it would save you a lot of hardship! Harlow looks absolutely gorgeous, so I'm glad you're keeping her on raw. Our dogs have absolutely thrived since being on raw; I would never go back to any kind of kibble, especially after learning what really is in it. Best of luck to you, and I hope you can find someone in your area where you could purchase a pre-made mix! Trust me, it is totally worth it!
Please be very careful with the raw diet. My daughter had her dog on a raw diet and he did get salmonella (he was a puppy, so maybe his immune system was not fully developed), he gave her kisses (licked her) and she got salmonella. She was in quarantine for six weeks. It was verified that the salmonella came from the dog saliva by the vet and her doctor. I just felt the need to share this with you. Thank you for being so open and explaining things so thoroughly. You are so strong!!
Harlow is the most amaizing dog i've ever seen. I wish my dogs were like her. When i tried to train them one of them just grabbed the treat out of my hand and the other wasn't interested at all. Any tips for training stubborn dogs?
Love to see the raw diet done right, and weighed out properly. I tried to do that with my GSD, but she is allergic to chicken and its pretty much the only cheaper meat around here. She also doesn't chow down on her food, she takes her sweet time eating... and when we did try raw for a bit she kept trying to take it strait onto the carpet... so that didn't go over well. One thing I was informed of, is that dogs can actually shed Salmonella in their fur/skin on raw food. It is a VERY small amount, but it seems like you guys are very clean people so its probably not a worry.
I'm working on getting a custom wheelchair as I have issues with balance and walking. It'd be mainly for school and long days like where i have PT then work.
Thanks for the insight on Harlow's Raw diet. My daughter will be getting a Service Dog soon and the Trainer highly recommended a RAW Diet for the pup too. Being that I have 3 kids and soon 2 dogs, I'm definitely nervous about starting them both on the RAW Diet. Luckily our Training will help our current dog transition so we can feed both dogs RAW food. I'm happy to see you're able to do this for your pup. I'm sure it's not easy if you're nausea all the time. Off topic: I'm you've been asked this before but I noticed you said you've had trouble with your feeds. My daughter tried Jevity and even an all natural formula call Liquid Hope and still had problems until we switched her to Osmolit 1.2 and she has done drastically better. She a lot less lethargic and with from a rate of 35 to 150 on her feeds. Also, have you ever been evaluated for a CSF Leak? My daughter struggled for years on what we thought was POTS until we took her to Cedars-Sinai Hospital where they took MRIs of her whole back and found several cysts. She'll be having her 2nd Blood Patch to reduce more of her symptoms. I know you've done and tried a lot of things. Not sure if you've tried any of these before or not, but I just thought I'd share a couple things that have helped my daughter in the past. I'm always so impressed by all the things you do under such chronic ill conditions. I hope you're very proud of yourself because I along with many other views I'm sure are just as proud of you too. Blessings
T.T I wish I could give my service dog a raw diet because of benefits I hear about but she gets so sick everyone I try a full raw diet. It just doesn't agree with her no matter what I try. So sadly I have no choice but to stick with kibble. It is stressful though because it seems every kibble o get that she loooooves people down it. I just want what's best for my service dog like you but ahhh. Thank you so much for mentioning that it doesn't work for everyone! Most people o come into contact with try to really push it! Also watching your videos help me with training as well because I'm also doing owner training!!!
I'm a vet tech and while the idea is good none of the veterinarians I work with recommend a raw diet. I know kibble is weird but it's specially formulated for dogs. While some people have luck with raw diets like Harlow unfortunately they often don't offer the necessary micronutrients dogs need which kibble does
@Emily M Sorry but that's completely untrue. A balanced raw diet offers all and every nutrient a dog needs to thrive. If you're not following a balanced raw diet then yes, it can do more harm than good, but a raw diet is by far superior to any kibble on the market. Kibble is processed junk, whereas raw food is 100% true, real food. It's what dogs are biologically made to consume. The only reason vets don't want to promote it is because it takes away from their business if their customers don't buy the food they get paid for to promote. I'm thankful my old-school vet supports a raw diet rather than cram medicine down our dogs throats for their allergy problems, which btw, has cleared up 100% thanks to going raw. Any dog will thrive on a raw diet as long as the owners follow the rules and give the proper amounts of meat, organ, and bone.
annnnnnd this is why I'm stressed and feel like a bad owner!! because I've worked my butt off to feed her raw , did research based on her weight and other things for weeks. got quality meat. did everything properly. In the end even with a slow transition it gave her horrible diarreah. the poor thing couldn't rest because her stomach was upset. she did work or anything because who would want to work when they feel bad. But a lot of people will still see me as a bad owner because I don't feed her raw even though it does make her sick.. Like I said I know all the meat was good fresh bought and quality. Her body just rejected it horribly. Even after enough time for her system to get used to a new diet. I literally don't understand because if it's so good why does my dog reject it. Also on a lighter funny note. the raw meat smell gets in her 'beard' and smells....less than lovely lol that's just for giggles because I can't type a serious convo without sounding snippy which I'm not trying to be in trying to explain my struggle.

We have a butcher in our area that makes raw diet for dogs. If you found someone that does that, you wouldn't have to do prep yourself.
Kirk Sklar I haven't found one, but it would be helpful some weeks. I like being able to make her diet though.

Omg that was terrible. Woopsie. Thanks for noticing that. Obviously I did not mean raw dog. Oh how much one word can change the meaning of a sentence.
Someone needs to do a compilation of Jaquie just saying "shut up" to Judd XD
Kaitlin Cartoccio it would be 247 hours long 😂😂😂

Thanks for the helpful info. on Harlow's raw diet.
We've got Nothing bunt cakes up here in Minnesota and my sister saw one in Ohio. They are AMAZING
Kimberly C. That would be helpful for some occasions! But I personally enjoy making Harlow's on diet because I can choose what goes into it
Chronically Jaquie true! There is something so satisfying about making a homemade diet and watching your dog enjoy it isn't there? 😁
Kimberly C.
After Judd asked Harlow to get more taco's, if she ran to the door I would have lost it!!! Can you put the one slipper inside the other slipper? I would be nervous using a pin or something. Don't need it to stick Harlow in her mouth. Sending prayers! Enjoy your weekend.
Dee Israel that's also a good idea! If I remember lol 😅
Dee Israel or a bag/chip clip
You make my day so much better :))
I love you so much you make my day every time I watch you ❤️
harlow: gets the blanket
me: (sniffs a little, tears up) she's so good
You are such an amazing inspiration. I don't consider myself chronically ill, but I do have a lot of medical issues. My birthday is also March 1.b
Didn't know you fed raw and absolutely love the fact that you do
Harlow eats better than me! 🤣 Love you! ❤️
Harlow is the most amaizing dog i've ever seen. I wish my dogs were like her. When i tried to train them one of them just grabbed the treat out of my hand and the other wasn't interested at all. Any tips for training stubborn dogs?
Natalija Dimcovska find what motivates them! Not every dog likes treats. Har is more praise motivates and some dogs like play (:
Chronically Jaquie Thank you! 😊
Natalija Dimcovska how are you dogs now
My dog has benefited so much from raw diet, joints are so much better. Just subscribed, looking forward to seeing your journey
Love and support from Hong Kong!

WOW Nothing Bunt Cake must be a franchise because there is one where I live in Santee, California.
I love the "Nothing Bundt Cakes" shop! I don't live there, but we have one here in Georgia! They are so soft and delicious!
Well, your dreams are interesting. Look at Harlow, she is totally a bad girl. She is gonna be on the run one of these days.
Maybe on the run to chipotle to get Judd tacos
I found u again
Crazy that you've now reached 54,000 subscribers ! :) :) Those bun cakes are amazing ! :) we dont have them in Australia Jacquie ! :)
you are amazing. stay strong
Speaking of food, has Judd been to Brocatos in Tampa? They have the BEST cuban sandwiches! One of the things I miss most about Tampa tbh
Judd LOVES cuban sandwiches. I will have to tell him!
I'm working on getting a custom wheelchair as I have issues with balance and walking. It'd be mainly for school and long days like where i have PT then work.
Great vlog!!! I love it so much.
11:42 I could hear your stomach go "what's this?"
Lol for real :P
Omg! We have Nothing Brunt cakes coming to where I live! I'm super excited!!
There is a nothing bundt cake in Fayetville, and I tried it for the first time this past weekend, they are so good.
Girl, their red velvet cake is heavenly!! The closest location to me is 30 mins and totally worth the drive!
SplicerGene27 it definitely does not work for everyone. You are already doing what's best for your dog. ❤
SplicerGene27 the poop situation is normal for up to 3 weeks her body is detoxing.
We have a few Nothing Bundt Cake bakerys in Minnesota!
