I flew out of MCO with my service dog, I'm surprised as to how long the disability line is or rather how long it takes. On the bright side it was easy enough, they worked well with my service dog and we were very comfortable. I didn't feel too rushed. We were blessed enough to be able to fly first class so that my service dog would have more space and so that I wouldn't run into someone who would complain about her,but no one knew she was on board until we were deplaning.
Thank you so much for sharing all your journeys with your service dog.

Wow... I'm a diabetic so on long trips I have to pack a ton of insulin and needles and stuff... I always make sure I have a doctor's note in multiple languages stating what I can bring and I never have much problems: somethimes I have to explain it, others they just know it's alright... Once they made such a big deal out of an icepack to keep my insulin cool and I was so freaked out and stressed because of it. I can't imagine what it must be for you! Luckily you got trough and got a very nice person at security :)

I went to the Arch in Missouri and the Hoover Dam over the summer with my family and had all kinds of trouble becaues of my pump and having syringes... also having fruit snacks, I don't know why that one was such a big deal. Thankfully we weren't flying so nobody questioned my little hoard of insulin vials. Definitely getting a doctors note the next time I travel!

I’m from the U.K. and my daughter developed Psoriatic Arthritis at 21 and uses a wheelchair. (She was diagnosed with Aspergers many years ago too). Her meds deliberately suppress her immune system, plus pain meds etc.. my point is before this time we never gave travelling with ‘restrictions’ a second thought. I doubt anybody does. But your post is great at educating people who have NO idea how challenging it can be, but also hopefully empowering some who think it can’t be done. She was also due to have an assistance dog but her workplace ( works 2 days at 5.5hrs) didn’t have a suitable exercise/toilet area so she couldn’t but she’s doing ok. It’s funny because we vacation in Orlando EVERY year and it’s her dream place. Thank you for this and keep on getting out there and enjoy 😊

Glad you made it through! The dogs are so cute! I had to laugh at the first shot of them on the plane! They were both crammed on Jaquie's side leaving little room for her feet! Janice, although your commentary was funny, saying things like that in an airport could cause a lot of trouble, even if you are just joking. It only takes one person to take the comment the wrong way and you could be denied flying privileges or worse have to explain things to the police. Have fun guys!

There are so many, many people who would benefit from watching this video. Healthy people will complain about doing such a simple task, like a security check at the airport, when what they need to do is feel grateful they have the flexibility and strength to perform those tasks. Sure they may have aches and pains, but instead of being grateful for what they can do, they complain because they are being inconvenienced. I have many health issues as well, but complaining will only hinder my recovery. I really won't be cured physically therefore I am very grateful for my baby steps and my positive attitude. Sure, I have moments when stuff is just too hard, but they are moments not days. I admire your strength and love watching the incredible support you have from Judd, your Mom and Harlow, plus those in your life. You can taken a pretty cruddy moment and fore the most part, turn it around.I respect that you share those times with us. We get to see that you are human and also A FIGHTER AND A VERY STRONG HUMAN! Plus, your husband is an amazing, compassionate man from what I see and your Mom is awesome too. My Mom helps me a lot by taking me to my appointments and procedures and her as well as my family and friends give me the support I need. Harlow is so loving as well. I want to get a service dog because I suffer from health issues and live alone. It would be nice to feel safe in knowing if anything happens to me, someone will be there and 'have my back'. Thank you for your honesty and truths that although a chronic illness/illnesses really sucks! They don't have to destroy us, but in fact empower us in every aspect of our lives 💞💖💝❤️😊💪👊 my immune disorders, gastroparesis and a whole poop load of others , will not ruin my life and I will not let others negativity effect my outlook because I may not be in control of these diseases but I am in control as to how I will react to each circumstance. Thank you Jacquie, my prayers are with you💖😊🙏 STAY STRONG! STAY TOUGH AND ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU HAVE AN AMAZING SPIRIT WITHIN YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL. 💖🙏😊💞 AND I, AS WELL AS OTHERS, HAVE GREAT RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FOR YOU AS A HUMAN BEING, THANK YOU SO MUCH ✌✊🏼💖💝😊🙏💞

Hi. Now I did actually watch those videos but was just wondering if another human could explain it to me in shorter terms. I was afraid that people like you might take offense which is why I said TWICE that I was concerned about coming off as rude. I think majority of people could have deduced from what I wrote that I was just trying to find out a little more, just a basic 'in a nutshell' explanation and I understand that perhaps people like you may view it as rude. I have the utmost respect for her and anyone else with a illness. I was just trying to find out a little bit more. ANYWAY, not really sure how your response went from polite and nice to actually hurting my feelings as it was obvious I was not trying to offend. Enjoy your day... in oh GERMANY.

Sorry, I didn't want to berude! I guess, a story like Jaquie's isn't told in a few sentences, so I guess you really should take the time to watsch the first video where she is explaining her illnesses.
I never wanted to hurt you in any way!
I have been watching Jaquie's vlog for, I guess, a ywar or so and lately she decided to stop daily vlogging cause it was too much stress for her and her health. I am sorry about that, but I do understand why. I have MS myself and struggle with everyday's problems also.

I know I'm.late to the party, but I had to tell you about the autocaptioning on this vid, because I lost it laughing at one point!!
Where you boarded the train, and it gave the announcement "please stand clear of the doors", it captioned as "please stand clear of wolves" which I thought was pretty solid advice 😂🤣

try it totally alone. yikes. i did once. The airport was super nice. meet me at two layovers and pushed me around. I had wheelchair apart and let me take me around. I was in the chair only 50% of the time back then. it was complicated, but the airport arranged it all for me. One layover took a bit of time, so they took me too food court area and I had company for lunch. LOL And I packed medical supplies separate and it was not counted as luggage.... thanks for sharing...

Actually the air in the plane is not recirculated. the air you feel coming out of the ac above your head is bleed air off of the turbine engine. The bleed air is supplied from the outside air coming into the compressor of the engines themselves. So you might be wondering, why doesn't the aircraft pressure keeping getting higher if they keep pumping in air from the bleed air? There is something called an outflow value located usually aft fuselage or near the tail. this valve opens and closes in order to keep the cabin pressure consistent. Never the less the fuselage is a good place for sickness to spread but its not much worse then your typical crowded train or bus.
Next time you fly, turn on the AC over your head just before push back (when the aircraft is pushed away from the gate) you will notice that the air will stop flowing above your head because they are turning on the engines. For the full reason why this happens i recommend doing more research on it but for the sake of keeping this comment short... they use the air that was going out of the AC above your head in order to turn the turbine on the engine. Turbine needs some help turning before it can keep itself going. they get this air from something called the APU (auxiliary power unit) that is located in the tail of most airliners and is can be used as a form of "generator" when the aircraft is not on. then once the engine turns on you will feel the AC come back on again... You might even notice that the AC is stronger then when it was turned off before... this is because the air is being supplied from the bleed air off the engines rather then the smaller APU. They may even use a GPU but ill leave it at that. Im sure you could care less about aircraft systems. haha, just a pilot thing I guess!

Thanks for the info mattatbat96. Do you also know what kind of filtration system is used. Since i discovered that particle pollution is responsable for my flares i wear a mask from the moment i aproach the airport to the moment i leave the airport of my destination. If i could be sure that the air was filtered by active carbon, for example, before entering airoplane i would not need the mask during the flight.

Have fun! It can get crazy. I have a j-tube, a central line, and all liquid meds. It is always interesting to see security's expression when I start pulling all of the liquid med bottles out of my bags. When I go to Russia (it is usually 30-32 hrs of travel and 4 or 5 connections depending) I literally have 40 bottles of liquid meds (including 7 bottles of liquid nausea meds and 7 of narcotic pain meds). As you can imagine, it gets a bit crazy and time consuming. Overall, security personal in all of the airports I have connected through in Europe have been great. London was awesome. It is in the US that I have the most hassle, with Paris running a close second. It can take me as long two hrs to get through security . Also grateful that in the 5 trips I have made to Russia, they have never made me take off my AFOs. It is definitely exhausting but I don't mind because I usually have one to two additional crazy event stories to bring home with me! More important, I love Russia. I love the Russian people, the culture, and the country is beautiful. I always feel so fortunate that I have been able to make 5 trips there despite my health issues. And my mom just said there will be another trip to Russia next year! Have a super fun trip!!! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

I’ve flown with a feeding tube and used a airport wheelchair went connect to tube feed (I have a gastric pacemaker and can’t go through metal detectors) which is why I opted to use one of the airports wheelchairs. I managed to go from the UK to Ibiza and it went well. Even carrying 3.5 litres of different meds and litre of feed, having emergency injections and needles with me for my Addison’s disease it all went well x

Eh, didn't seem odd to me at all. I've been on a plane in and out of country several times. Some agents are cooler than others - and when you do special searches they are far more friendly. We had to for our pre-made formula - it took quite some time but the agents were friendly and talkative and joked too.
