@@OmniarchOfficial Lu Bu is 2nd worst sry everyone thinks that Freddy is atleast good for season 1 rallys YSG Freddy in Season 1 is good rally combo better then Lu Bu. He is Gold KEY Commander.
@@OmniarchOfficial Have you ever counter rallyed attila takeda with Alex ceaser? Also you didnt waste any Sculptures on Ceaser and Freddy because they both are Gold Key commanders you dont need to use Universal Sculptures. Ceaser 2nd skill gives stats are you blind???

Lol don't get me even started with Kosunoki/YSG. I get even trades trades when i battle legendary commanders like Alex, Richard even against Khan all expertised . Wish i could test Kosu with these commanders😁

@Jace The Man full Archer and skill. That works better imo then full skill/ archer. Test it out yourself if you have a max YSG or a stronger Archer secondary commander. I won against commanders like Alex, Richard, Khan and Charles Martel. All of their legendary commanders were expertised and we both had a equal vip with no buffs T5 vs T5. At the end of the battle i had a like 20k troops left and less wounded units.. I also was'nt a believer untill i tried it out. Goodluck! Oh and we did not used any buffs or runes just bone stock to see their true potential.

At kvk 1 I spent almost all of my gold Head on julius caesar and frederick. This is my biggest mistake in this game.😩

I have no idea why but lot of older players till few months ago sang songs for Caesar. I never understood cause you know there's no reviving a 2322 commander from my noob days 👀
There should be a skill reset coming with the skill lock feature so perhaps one day you can fix him! :)

Awesome, a you tuber who actually responds. Perhaps you'll respond to my question. In a canyon lineup, how would you pair these 8 commanders into 4 marches? No worries on the 5th march, it just kinda tanks and damages. All are experticed and maxxed: YSG, Mejmed, Richard, Martell, Sun Tzu, Joan, Alex, Aethyflaud. I guess my real question concerns putting Aethyl primary with YSG, or Joan (who slows) primary with Aethyl, or is something else better? I face a lot of khans, saladdins, and constantines, which I have but those are no where near ready for combat. Thanks, any advice appreciated.
I would say Aethelflaed/YSG, Richard/Joan, Alex/Sun Tzu, Martel/Mehmed!

I only got barca because of the books in those chests since I hate doing forts. . I never have used him since. I Got Charlemagne when he first came out and he is still at level 1
Yeah the books in those bundles are pretty good value if you can afford it!
I have Moctezuma maxed and he is extremely good for several pvp situations. I would be happy to send you reports in game. Easy way to break him is making the Hidden Dagger.

The problem is 4 out of 6 of these commanders were when the game had just come out in 2018 and very few commanders can age well after 3 years. YSG, Martel and possibly El Cid are the only ones

Julius Ceasar isnt as bad as you said imo. He is pretty decent at 5511 for f2p. I actually uses JC as a secondary of my Alex for quite a while.

Trajan Frederick insane combo for open field. First: You have 25% more troop capacity then your opponent. That is huge. Think about the effectiveness of this in canyon… Second: freddy skill damage total is 2400 which is super high (And because of the 25% extra troops u hit really crazy high). Third a 1000 healing factor is ok, but again with the extra troops you can bring the healing is really significant. Lastly Trajan further increases damage taken by opponent and increases skill damage further boosting the already insane damage of freddy. And provides rage engine for more frequent casting of skills. Combined with the tankyness he provides this is a really really solid pair.
Alex Frederick is also very descent. Comparable with the tankyness and damage output of a Saladin Kahn. But with healing and bringing more troops. I don’t want to make the argument that he is incredible. But he really does not belong on this list in my opinion.
Also take into account he is usable in kvk2 and 3 (newest commanders u can’t use) and that a part of your sculps come for free from keys. So let’s say a player could choose between investing 690 sculps in expertising a kahn to use as secondary with sala, or like 350 to expertise freddy to use as secondary to Alex. I would argue that the 350 is the better investment (if this would mean the player could bring a second or third march into field).

You're spot on with this list, but I would not put Barca as number two. He needs a rework, but I still use him in the middle skirmish for the ark, because he hits multiple targets with his debuff that is one of the better debuffs in the game. Yes, he is slow, and yes, I regret buying his VIP chests, but he has much more utility over Fred, LuBu, or Ceasar just for the fact that AoE is the meta these days.
Perhaps, that's a fair assessment. I just put him there because you have to spend money to get him whereas you can get Caesar and Fred for free. Lu Bu is debatable I think, both have below average AoE hahahah

Fred 5511 behind a mina is high nuking dps. Pretty decent open-field for sniping players. Not good for Universal's but the tavern heads accumulated over time.

I think integration and versatility tree need that even more, leadership is at least decent (still worse than inf/cal/arc ofc) if you use mix troop.
Well i agree on everything but Julius . I am not saying Julius is good to invest , but if you max him with keys Guan+Julius isn't a bad choice if you don't have leo . Sunzu might be better here but you might use him with martel for example . Julius gives tankiness . Alex+Julius is decent too . Anyway if you want to make a march tank and having some dmg Julius is nice . 20% defence most of the time 15% troops capacity 10% dmg reduction and extra dmg reduction if you are low are a lot . Mine is 5-5-5-4 i am not far away i am gonna use him soon

When you played two accounts and both accounts have lv40 Caesars, Lmao. When i start playing this game there are only a few of commanders and Aethelflaed just released. I though Caesar is a bit tanky and blindly trying to max him. Sheesh.

IMO, Leadership coms are good for 2 things:
1. Filling rallies due to troop capacity boosts
2. Sub commanders if you're running multiple marches on the field at one time, like 4+. At that point, putting Barca or Aethelfled behind a tank can be beneficial.
Otherwise, they're all useless for the most part unfortunately :/

@@Sifat_Rashid usually I tell people to max Alex after YSG because he’s very good and works well with YSG. Saladin is still powerful in open field fights, you could always do a 5551 Saladin with 5551 William for a strong cavalry open field March :) especially with that city skin

A few months ago Legend Rhony proved JC shines as a counter rally to AttilaTakeda. Did you or any of your alliance members ever tried that and what are your thoughts about it? I got him 5511 but absolutely didnt and still dont bother investing any sculps into him certainly.
Really? I just cant see any skills of JC that could be effective as a counter rally to A/T. +20% Atk/def and +30% Damage and a 10% dmg reduc.Maybe it depends on who will be his partner. I didnt watched that vid, can you tell me what pair did he used. I believe Chandra can be a good counter rally because he got -5% dmg taken from cavs and got one of the best debuffs in game (-def/health) and put a dagger and web, the debuff will be super crazy. Its 50% and 30% chance
Rhony just showed a couple of positive trades in field fights, which I don't think is sufficient evidence. There's a reason you never see people counter rally A/T with Julius Caesar ;) He's not worth it. There are better ways to deal with A/T
He used Alex primary. I don't think it's a good strategy in a real fight since he just did controlled field battles.
Side note, I downloaded this game to play as Hannibal in the first place. Makes me sad that hes so ass. My second motivator was to get all the crusader kings and their Arab counterparts. At least most of them are good!

One thing these commanders all have in common? They all died like bitches in real life. Moctezuma was stoned to death by his own people, Lu Bu was beaten down and beheaded, Frederik Barbarossa drowned in a river on the way to a crusade, Ceasar got shanked by the Senate, Hannibal Barca died by suicide (in exile, shunned by his people), and Charlemagne died of a lung infection.
Yea Caesar is bad but there are some goods in him, hes the best leadership commander that is in the game, or one of the best, he may be useless most of the time but as somebody said in the comments if u fill him in a duo with a commander that is into one troop category he may be a little more usefull

Charles is my main for infantry because of his op shield ability

Nah if your low spender or f2p your giving someone wrong information DO NOT INVEST in any of these commanders especially if your in kvk 1 just focus YSG and Martel and they will carry your account and not get diminished returns or feel you wasted gold heads , and if your f2p just starting out gotta think long term
