Thank you Corrie for inviting us to the 2024 Canadian Snowbirds airshow! Where we get a front row seat in a first class lounge! 😊 Love watching the Snowbirds!!! I think even the eagle was checking them out, but realized there was no way it could outmaneuver them at that speed or Opponents! Lol Thanks Corrie for sharing!! Very much appreciated. 😊👍🤸👏
@islandnightowl, I sincerely thank you for your kind engagement and ongoing support, grateful you picked the front row. This was one of the most challenging filming episodes this half blind, vertically challenged camera lady has had to date. I love a good challenge! I had seen the eagles around all weekend, so wasn't surprised to see them. I have a thing for things with wings, and had to ad the eagle footage. I filmed the Eagle soaring while the Snowbirds were out of visual range. So majestic. I've decided to go to the Abbotsford airshow in August. Now that I have a better idea of what to expect when planes fly really fast! Best....Corrie
@dogfoodking, Right!! The Snowbirds are truly amazing. Thanks for finding my channel, I am truly grateful for your kind words and support. I did really well with this footage, and will try to do even better at the Abbotsford airshow in August. I'll try to not be surrounded by tall people and hats....lol. Best...Corrie
Thank you Corrie for the absolutely beautiful video our Snowbirds simply the best of the best no other team even comes close your video was beyond Superb sincerely Captain Richard Creighton God Bless ❤❤❤❤❤❤
@user-qg7dz4yp7x, thanks Captain Richard Chreighton. I am truly grateful for your kind words and support. I love the Snowbirds too! This was my most challenging filming exercise to date, I loved every minute. I will try again at Abbostford in August, I will try and steer clear of tall people and hats. Thanks for finding the lounge. Best....Corrie
@jamesburnside3023, thanks Jim, always grateful for your kind words and support. This was a fun challenge and unlike anything I've filmed before. Oh my goodness it all happened so fast! I am going to try and improve on this one and retry at the Abbotsford airshow in August. More Comox airshow stuff on the way. I have a lot of editing in front of me. I appreciate you're on the journey with me. Best....Corrie
Very nice work with this video, Corrie. I was very pleased to see the pre-flight "ceremony", with all the marching and saluting. And I think the musical accompaniment was a very nice touch. Was that from the Air Show producers or you? I still get a little unnerved when viewing the Snowbirds, after their unfortunate incident in 2020. I'm not sure how long that feeling will stay with me. I'm looking forward to more of your Air Show videos. Keep up the great work, Corrie. And thank you for your acknowledgements of the Indigenous Territory in your descriptions. It is always appreciated.
@Astromechy, I am truly grateful for your kind words, engagement and support, thank you. The entire production of this video was little ole me. I debated on adding music, but found it really boring without it. This video was my biggest challenge to date, it all happens so fast with a camera in hand. The Hornet was a challenge too, but it's just a single jet.....lol. I'm in the edit phase of more air show videos, stay tuned! Best...Corrie
@jennmcclelland9851, thanks Jenn, so grateful you came to visit my channel. It was great to see you and your sisters at the reunion! I am truly grateful for your kind words and support. Best...Corrie
Cordialement, Corrie
Love the Snowbirds. Compare very well with the Red Arrows. Of course I'm biased and think the Reds are the best in the world. Like the music. In my mind the CT 104 is the aircraft our Jet Provost could have been with a little effort. I was lucky enough to see The Snowbirds when they attended RIAT at Fairford a good few years ago.
@mothmagic1, thanks Ian for your always kind words and support. I have never seen the Red Arrows, I would love to. I thought the clouds made the footage pretty incredible. I will probably see the Snowbirds again in August at the Abbotsford Airshow. Best....Corrie
@@leftcoastcorrie When filming at airshows some cloud is always better than wall to wall blue. That was a down side to Flying Legends at Duxford. Second weekend in July and it was usually wall to tall blue. The pictures and videos always turned out better on the occasions when there was some cloud about. The Reds fly a nine ship display and always bring a spare aircraft "Red 10" which is flown in by their commentator.
@mothmagic1, Ian, I have been to England once and the highlight for me was going to Duxford. Got to spend an entire day there, it wasn't long enough. I'd love to go there again. I agree, the clouds made for a pretty amazing backdrop when filming fast airplanes. I am truly grateful for your always kind words, engagement and support. Best...Corrie
@brianseutter5106, Thanks Brain for your kind words and support, I am truly grateful. I love the Snowbirds too. I will see if I can improve on this one in August in Abbotsford. Best...Corrie
Awesome; though actually The Canadair CT-114 Tutor (company model CL-41) is a jet trainer that was designed and produced by Canadian aircraft manufacturer Canadair.
This is my positive comment Corrie. Thanks for the ride!
@johnreid4363, Thanks John, I appreciate your positive comment. Grateful for your kind words and support. Best...Corrie
