Damn.................. where did this come from? I've know Rei as a performer of classic blues and quirky funky songs, but this is singer songwriter stuff pulling from Laurel Canyon in the 60s mixing in Alice in Chain melodies with a Pearl Jam vibe. I could easily picture Layne Staley singing this. Perhaps more Mad Season than anything. Regardless, a completely unexpected gem from an artist that refuses to be labeled.
