Their were two very informative posters the camera lingered on, a timetable for complete Cordyceps infection and Cordyceps infection symptoms. Timetable for complete Cordyceps infection: -Bites to the head, neck and face: 5 to 15 minutes -Bites to the torso, shoulder, arm and hand: 2 to 8 hours -Bites to the leg and foot: 12 to 24 hours Cordyceps infection symptoms: -Coughing -Slurred speech -Muscle spasms -Mood change Cordyceps aim to takeover the body, so they headed for the brain, as the epidemiologist in episode one explained, where they will build a barrier, walling off the brain from control--remember host needs to be alive for them to thrive, so they keep the host a prisoner in their own mind while they hijack their bodies, and this is why we don't call them zombies. Sam didn't have any of the symptoms--yeah, I know he was unable to speak, but it was pretty clear that he was very coherent while with Ellie. And they likely were in that motel room for an hour, maybe two. Anyway, if a person is bit somewhere on a limb, they can be saved--we saw at least three amputees in the Boston QZ. Though as we we Nana Adler and Tess' bite, Infected try to bite higher up, around the neck as its a speeder takeover. Sam and Ellie did a very kid thing--not tell an adult what had happened! Had they said something, however, Sam might have still died. They were in a very dirty motel room, and that was probably the least of their problems, as they surely didn't have the medication or tools to amputate his leg. For all we know, they only had Joel's Buck knife and Ellie and Henry's pocket knives, which won't cut threw bone. Same likely wouldn't have turned, but he very likely still would have died. Still, had they told Joel and Henry, Henry could have at least prepared himself and Sam might have been able to help his big brother live on without him--they would have had time to say their goodbyes, which of course they didn't have ='( 3:59 No. She told Sam that her blood was medicine. She thought that she could heal him, remember? She'll confirm this in the story, so you'll see in a few minutes. 39:12 Are you sure, though? Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. At this point, it really is subjective because as someone who’s played the games this show has done a few plot points in a better way. Especially the Sam and Henry episode.
I love this Tommy scene better than the game, the ingeractions and talks made more sense. Also i cried during the ellie and joel scene. in the game i didnt care that much. Spoiler: Chimpanzees are apes, not monkeys. 🙊
I really don't get your Jackson distrust though. It seems you make a lot of assumptions there.
Anyway…
Me when they reached Jackson: :')
Me when they enter the hall: ;_;
Me when they show REDACTED: T_T
Me when they show Shimmer: OH MY FUCKING GOD STOP!
Damn TLoU 2 PTSD.
This episode had a lot of references, but that's all I'm going to say. Definitely worth a rewatch if you're through season 1 & 2, or worth watching a playthrough if you don't want to play the games for yourself. It's impossible to truly appreciate what they are doing with this show if you don't know the games at all.
We’re gonna play the game after this season is over
RAIDERS...NOT RAVERS.
They know it’s raiders but mistakenly said Ravers during one of the episodes and they have just continued the joke lol
☺️we are understood
The game did these plot points waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better, you should do a reaction to the game's cinematics after the series is over so you see the differences.
Your opinion...I disagree
At this point, it really is subjective because as someone who’s played the games this show has done a few plot points in a better way. Especially the Sam and Henry episode.
I love this Tommy scene better than the game, the ingeractions and talks made more sense. Also i cried during the ellie and joel scene. in the game i didnt care that much. I will say tho that the game had more action sequences that i wished were adapted like joel falling and getting stabbed. And ellie actually defending them killing some people.
@@KernelKonig Well, yeah, that's my opinion obviously but still it would be interesting to see them react to the game.
You guys want to hear a joke??
A non-vegan going on about how compassionate they are towards animals.
Crazy cause Elise is vegan. And you’re the worst ☺️
Kinda seems like the joke’s on you bro.. Elise is vegan 🌱
Please stop saying ravers.... it's raiders..... thank you 😊 it's not hard to pronounce a D.....
We understand that the correct term is raiders. It is a call back to a previous video.
Its literally just jokes. They can say whatever they want and you wont be able to do anything about it 😊
It's intentional now. Hugo is a troll
🥰
You guys are so weird
How?
🤷🏻♂️
