So good to see him again. Such a special man. I love the fact he's taken time away from fame to live his life too. Some people don't know when to stop. ❤❤
If anyone has not seen "A Touch of Frost" ... Then, watch it... The whole thing! You completely forget he was delboy, straight away; and it really shows how good he is... Great series.

A true Legend, he's so so amazing, love Sir David Jason, been an only fools and horses fan, never met him, would love to. So much talent over the years.
When I was much younger, I did some extra work on Only Fools & Horses. I can absolutely confirm what a lovely man he is. Both Lyndhurst and Sir Jason were true gents, and never looked down on anyone. On one morning, I was making myself some tea, when I heard, “Morning!” I turn around to a warm smile from Sir Jason. He is such a class act on every level.
Sir David Jason is a true star and a wonderful gentleman. It always fills my heart with warmth when I see him appear on TV. We are blessed by his very being.
You could tell just how much of an influence Ronnie Barker had on Sir David's work, you can see it in his speech patterns, hand gestures and body language. Two geniuses.
Love sir David. Jason. From animation to so many roles frost darling buds only fool and horses and porridge to name but a few loved him and Ronnie. Together as well just fabulous 😊
My late mother in law disliked only fools and horses. When asked why she gave a great rundown on the dodgy antics of the characters especially what Dell boy got up to. She was a lovely woman and I loved how she was so immersed in the 'reality' of the characters and storylines. She gave testament to just how good it was.
Also, it's so lovely to hear about what a decent bloke Ronnie Barker was. The Two Ronnies was one of my favourite shows when I was little. It's reassuring when those on screen that you have so much affection for are decent peeps off screen too.
Personally I always remember Sir David Jason as Pop Sidney Larkin & D.I Edward "Jack" Frost. Yes, Del Boy is an iconic character but I'll always remember Larkin & Frost before Trotter.
I find it so funny and a bit bonkers at the same time, because when David was younger he played an old man when he was in Porridge, and he eventually aged to look like the actual character he played years ago. The make up artist must have had a crystal ball 😂
@@dazzp2 I agree, that was very obvious when they worked together. There’s a video on RUclips but I don’t know what it’s called but it shows all the outtakes, which really aren’t outtakes because of the cast, just the production team making sure the cameras are in the right place and asking the cast to move a little over to one side, react in a certain way, all the niggly stuff. Ronnie Barker was an absolute gentleman to the crew, responded to them all as ‘sir’ and came up with little ad libs while waiting around on stage, which were hilarious… the man had true comedic talent. From Danger Mouse and Count Duckula to Open All Hours and Only Fools and Horses, David Jason was a massive part of my childhood in the 80's. So good to see him looking and keeping so well in his later years, long live the King of comedy.
