@archismanchakrabarty9752 He's old archismanchakrabarty9752, and his body has suffered a trauma it will probably never fully recover from. So why don't we just face the facts....
Ha, I remember the first time I saw this scene, the only thing going through my mind was "holy shit, this guy's fat". 5 seconds later tony addresses it.
Sopranos was just as much a comedy as it was a drama imo. There is way too much comedic material in the show, even Tracee's death, probably the darkest moment, ends up being used as a punchline later on.
it was heartbreaking. he had a new baby and his two older kids lost both parents. I've always remembered this scene and how later bobby married Janice. it didn't make much sense. even great shows have flaws. the writers still had the time and confidence to slip in easter eggs
One of Tony’s all-time lines. Killed me then, kills me now.
Bobby's best too
Bobby’s last line seems so improvised. So damn hilarious lol
Tony literally looks like this in the last season haha
There is before & wayyy before!
You think those four years don't make a difference?

If Bacala Jr fell off the bed we'd get a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in New Jersey

OH SON OF A BITCH! DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO NOT SAY THAT
Ha, I remember the first time I saw this scene, the only thing going through my mind was "holy shit, this guy's fat". 5 seconds later tony addresses it.
I don't care how you feel about fat people or obesity, you have to admit this is some funny shit. I laugh every time I watch it.
The Sopranos was not a comedy show but this scene drops me everytime. Bobby barely able to get out of the car and Tony's look of disgust.
Shopranosh was NOT A WHAT NOW!?!?
Sopranos was just as much a comedy as it was a drama imo. There is way too much comedic material in the show, even Tracee's death, probably the darkest moment, ends up being used as a punchline later on.
Lmao the way he gets out the car
the car moves while he is getting out lol
The biggest gag of all is that Bobby is the size of a couple of guys, hence why needs to be there
Tony's expression at :22 of pure disgust at seeing Bobby kills me
0:21 😏
I just had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard at this scene. I guess what makes it funny is that Bobby had a hard time getting out of the car.
Goddamn savage
First time seeing this scene I pissed off laughing
Me too, and I’m still laughing
"Pissed off laughing"??
Sameee lmaoooo
Bobby enters his first scene as a train goes by
2nd*
second, first one is the to the victor belongs the spoils
Fun fact: steve schirripa wore a fat suit during season 2 and 3.
What is this the catskills? Shecky Greene we got here...
Why is he still wearing it?
Before season 4 when they told him he didn't need it anymore. 🤣
@@FonzleberryHe lost some weight & kicked Tony's ass. 😅
This made my dad and I laugh so hard when it was first released. And it’s still funny.
i think Bobby was skinnier than Tony later on lol
What make this scene even funnier was the transition from this to a shot of a salad made by carmelo 😂
I love the alliteration throughout. Genius.
Genuinely the funniest scene in this entire series
Tony staring at the train going by before Bobby shows up... foreshadowing Bobby's death. ☠️
Walt whitman ova here
is this satire lmao
I laughed so fucking hard at this scene! I played it over and over at least 20 times. Spit my fucking drink everywhere!
This is one of the most hilarious moments in the show
It's ridiculous to see how much fatter Tony/Gandolfini got as the show progressed haha.
Sadly the show probably shorten his life significantly
@@thomasjust2663he was a cocaine addict and he had a heart attack
Lol never gets old
The next scene cuts to a salad. Lol
Tony was thin then.
I cant believe how slim he was, never noticed before!
He was still a big guy, just exploded in weight in the later seasons.
The time when Bobby kicked Tony's ass was for that salad and exercise comment
Yeah but Bobby sucker punched him
For sure, he never lived this comment down...
This scene right here inspired me to lose weight.
Consida it exacise
0:58 killed me
Before, and waaaay before.
beatiful
the way the camera pans around to bobby at the end right before he says his line is actually special
Tough love from the boss.
wouldn't really call it "tough" or "love", more like "insecure" and "projecting"
Its the set up, not knowing whos going to come out of the car, lack of score, timing and delivery that makes it
0:34 before and way before
Hilarious. Sopranos at its best.
Say that to Johnny Sacks about Ginny and see what happens. 👀
Funny this is that Bobby was actually wearing a body suit. Yeah, he is overweight but they enhanced it for the show
When was this scene produced?
Now there is a baseball stadium across the street, and a Hampton Inn across the Passaic River.
It's from season one, so it was filmed in either 1998 or 1999.
@PROJECT Y most of s2 would have been filmed in 99 no?
@@lotharingia3585 this is season 2 genius
@@patgogan7324 Season 2 was filmed in 2000, then season 3 in 2001, and so and so forth.

Greatest sitcom
I'm fat AF and me and this one fat friend I used to have online would send eachother links to this scene all the time
this had me dying dude
It’s funny that Tony constantly made fun of the probably the only guy who could take him in a fight lol.
Bobby makes Tony look like he had the makings of a varisty athlete.
tony never did right by bobby. although his scope wasnt anything more then a driver
Bobby got bumped-up to #3 under Tony. Which ironically led to his demise. Be careful what you wish for......

Bobby never lived up to the life
The actor who plays Bobby said they made him wear a fat suit under his shirt
Lizzo be like
Lizzo to her background dancers
I love the fact that throughout the whole series, Bobby gets thinner while Tony gets fatter 🤣🤣
I'm watching this while busting down a huge italian salad. Lol
Looks like Bobby had too many Bakalavas!
they padded him. I thought tony had said 'woa you're gonna tip my car.' maybe they had alternate versions.
0:48
Tony and Bobby look like a weight loss commercial. Waaaay before and Before time started.
It's ironic that James Gandolfini died avoiding salads.
Steve was wearing a fat suit to be fair
I remember reading somewhere that Bobby’s actor wore a fat suit for the first season.
😂😂
Then later he kicks Tony’s ass
What season and episode is this?
Season 2 episode 2 28:50 into the episode
