Loved the pic of the Talking Heads. Chris Frantz & Tina Yarmouth (Talking Heads founders, drummer & bassist) came back to my hometown, Maysville, KY, this year to celebrate their wedding anniversary. They were married here 45 years ago. Chris' grandparents lived here when he was growing up, & he spent lots of summers & holidays with them. Still one of the most talented drummers ever!
0:58 That's Deep Purple mark IV on the photo therefore it must be about 1975. 1972 was the time of the legendary mark II with three members different from mark IV, including Ritchie Blackmore himself. But anyway, interesting video.
To me, the picture of Clapton at 3:13 just screams loneliness and isolation. He has a big house and is rich, but the look on his face is just miserable. 😔
Father time just won't slow down.😮😮 Seems only yesterday this was all happening. It's a shame todays music is nowhere near as great as the artists in this Video.
Supertramp was huge for a few short years..saw them after my high school graduation at Madison sq Garden June 79..came out after the show and our cars were towed! How we got them back I still can’t remember!
I entered into existence in April of 1960. Needless to say, what a great time in the history of rock n roll to be alive!..

Awesome, thanks for sharing!
I think you mean Tina Weymouth, Yarmouth is a seaside town on the East Coast of England
@@garymillward2890 You are correct, that's the reason my following post corrected the immediately previous one. Thank you for paying attention.
Amazing musicians !
Thank you for this most of the photos I have never seen ☺️
Glad you like them!

You’re welcome 😊

I agree. Mark IV with Tommy Bolin started in 1975
Yup I said the same thing. That’s Coverdale and Tommy Bolin. That picture was from 1975
@@danielevans9379 ...and Glenn Hughes
@@franks.8189 forgot about him!
What a lineup. Hughes had an awesome voice himself!
Nice soundtrack. Every pic brought a memory. 🥲 Where have all the good times gone.
Glad you enjoyed it
Janis Joplin was so pretty and I love the photos and the music!
Ten thousand lifetimes just went by, an infinity of influences.

The story about how The Yardbirds evolved into Led Zeppelin is amazing if you run across it.

Totally agree
.
Big Brother looks like Janis Joplin hasn't bathed in a few weeks. 😅
That pic of Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick had to be in 1977 when they were on their very first major tour opening for KISS. 👍🎸
That last picture of Eddie and Brian, Starfleet Project.
Correction: Tina Weymouth
Bognor Regis

Look up Breakfast in America 9/11 now there’s a story
Sorry, not Deep Purple 1972. Earliest that photo could be is 1975.
Thanks for the correction!
Tommy Bolin
The more Bowie the better!
Well the pic of Deep Purple in 1972 can't be, that's Tommy Bolin at the front and he didn't join until 1975
Deep Purple with Tommy Bolin is 1975 no 1972
On the set of I'm afraid of Americans 😎
Finnally the more classy was Chuck Berry :)
Finally a Deep Purple pic and you get the date all wrong! Gotta be 1975 as Tommy Bolin didn’t join until that year.
Cara , DP em 1972 estava no MK II . Please ! Ian Gillan e Roger Glover .
Cool photos ...BTW it's PATTIE BOYD and not Patti like in SMITH!
Janis Joplin ❤❤
And all are all but dead now. Live fast die young.
That Deep Purple line up is with Tommy Bolin, not Ritchie Blackmore. More like 1975 than '72
8min49, non, non, ce n'est pas son chien ! 😂
Deep Purple was definitely not 1972. Tommy Bolin is in the pic and not Richie Blackmore
De The Beatles solo ponen a ese insulso....simplon del Harrison .....si no salen John y Paul ....no vale.....
Grateful Dead ?
