This has to be one of the most inspiring and motivating message for a single black mom! As of last year, I took control of my finances. I left my expensive apartment with 3 children and moved into my mom’s house. I’m fortunate to live rent free but I supply the groceries and pay little utilities. I paid off my credit card debts, save about 90% of my paychecks and now I’m tackling my student loan while it’s interest free. It’s hard work and there are days I cry. Days when I miss my own space and privacy but I pray and remind myself that there is a goal and light at the end of this tunnel.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life too 🙏🙏🙏

My niece is moving to AZ to do the same...as young women this is the perfect time to take advantage of all the opportunities available to nurses. If any suggestions could be offered as to what stocks/investments outside of a company 401k plan helped her achieve her high savings, that information would have been helpful during this interview. And it would have given me a more clearer idea where to start in terms of investing in the stock market. I love this. I'm a 40 y/o single mom, barely understanding these key elements. We only have the time God blesses us with, so age shouldn't be a deterrent nor an inspiration, rather, the fact that time isn't promised means we all need to stop wasting that which we do have. Thank you guys for this insight.

Preparation is everything and intentionality with every dime.
Twenty years ago I was reading "Black Enterprise" and I discovered my net worth. I added up assets and liabilities. I had a negative net worth of $27,000. This got my attention and made me focus not on how much money I made but how much I kept. I set up financial goals around having choices.
Fast forward twenty years and I was able to leave a toxic job (choices). The job market has not produced any great opportunities over the last year. Because I beefed up my financial goals, I am able to retire 11 years earlier than my retirement age.
Lakisha is correct about the stock market. My portfolio has doubled in four years.

I have a TIAA account and I do an automatic 1% increase with my raise every year so instead of a 5% raise I say I got a 4% and I never notice. My job also matches at 7%. Next year they go up to 10% since I’ve been there 10. See if your job matches and you can automatically enroll some of your annual raise. My balance goes up so fast.

No losses involved when working together investing Stock/ Forex with Sir Adams, you only win and learn more. Having in mind that this is purely business, he helps you understand that you trade what you see and not what you think. Be careful who you give your money because trading is no joke nor investment a gamble. Often times, there is always a misplaced priority because the core reason for having a trading strategy is to remove the possibility of you making emotional or irrational decisions. Decisions should be authenticated or rather made based on predefined parameters that are developed with clear logical thinking. One more advantage is the possibility to benefit from repetition. Without this type of strategy, you probably won’t know what worked or why it worked and even if you did, it would be hard to repeat. Michael Adams Jay comes with his unique trade style that guarantees zero loss on investment. Michael Adams Jay is unique and simple to work with, just look into *850CREDITRESTORATION*
