That's great to hear. I plan to do this ride again with my new 4K camera with improved image stabilization. I will try to ride it in the morning when the lighting will be different than the late afternoon.
.Saludos Cordiales.
My wife and I searched out this ride on our recent CO-NM vacation. Very challenging in real life! The creek crossings were fun once we got used to it. I'd recommend mountain bikes rather than our gravel bikes. I hope to find some of your other rides for our future travels. Thanks for your great videos!
That ride was a surprise for me when I rode it. I had no idea it would be so interesting. Have you ridden video [71] Shafer Switchbacks? It's kind of an adventure. It descends first then you have to hope you can make it back to the top. I plan on doing more of these desert trail rides this year, some along the Green River in Utah.
r Riding with you through the holiday season and into a new year. Unable to see kids and grandkids due to COVID restrictions , you and my bike trainer have made my spirits a bit brighter, Health and happiness to you and your family
It really is! Does it look like New Zealand? Maybe Australia? How about Utah? Thanks for riding with me. You're a strong rider and I enjoy your company.
@@JerrysScenicCycling It reminds me a little of the area around Bannockburn Central Otago which is in south Island of Nrw Zealand. But onion creek is way more spectacular! Keep up the cycling videos. I love them. Do them most mornings on my cycle trainer before work.
Thanks for watching. I must tell you how surprised I was when I did this ride. I always thought it was just an ordinary road to a ranch. If fact, I left my house in late afternoon, a bit out of boredom, but also curiosity about this road. What a surprise!
Thanks for taking one for the team here. At the end of my ride indoors, quick shower and done. I can't imagine how long it took you to get the red mud and grime off of your bike and yourself. This was really beautiful and unique scenery. Thanks again.
@@JerrysScenicCycling jajaja , I have shoes for the sharp rocky desert, and muddy, I love it... as a fact the brand I use is from Utah “Altra”, last sunday 18th, run a marathon on a trial just on the border MEX- US...juarez- el paso... nice rido to discharge today..
Glad you like them! This ride was a real surprise to me. I always thought it was just another road to a ranch, but instead it is a spectacular, jaw-dropping scenic route. I hope this video captured some of the beauty.
Thank you Jerry! Your beautiful scenery and fun music have kept me physically and mentally inspired during this pandemic.. Got a trainer and found your channel in April and look forward to many more rides.. this Onion Creek one is gorgeous!!
thanks for doing one on dirt! Some of my favorite rides are the red dirt roads in the Moab area. Love to see this while spinning the winter miles on rollers in the basement.
Really looking forward to this! I've been breaking your rides down in smaller chunks and combining them with other workouts so I'm taking longer to finish them, but this is next on my list.
I'd never heard of Rose Garden Hill Safari Route so I googled it and sure enough it is. The route is 27.2 miles and goes from Dewey Bridge to Onion Creek according to the map. Looks interesting. Maybe I should try it on my bike.
@@JerrysScenicCycling Thank you, if we ever go back to the States (we're from Montréal), we certainly will ride this trail, it is magnificent. My wife and I have done it often on our trainer but it will be different on the real trail.
Really liked this one was dirt! Nice to see you are still expanding & experimenting. Spectacular! Have you been to the end? Where does this road end up?
Not yet! If you keep going you will intersect the dirt road that runs between Gateway and Moab. Also the road will intersect with the Kokopelli mountain bike trail that runs between Grand Junction (where I live) and Moab. The trail is 142 miles long. I am glad I upgraded my 1984 Specialized Stumpjumper to a 2020 Giant Trance E+. It makes it possible to get videos like this one!
Today was the third time I've ridden this ride. It is one of my favorite rides. Thanks again, Jerry!

You bet! I hope you didn't ruin your good running shoes in the wet, muddy creek crossings.

Absolutely magnificent contributions... all of these videos. Thank you so much, Jerry :)
You are very welcome
Thanks for these videos Jerry. Great locations you have over there.
You bet. All these videos made on day trips. Never have to do an overnight trip.
Can't get over the space and relative lack of traffic. Very different over here in UK!
Fantastic. I am so impressed . Thanks for all the great rides.
Glad you like them!

Another stunning scenery! I'm curious as to what kind of bicycle you used for this trip? I felt like I was riding along with you. Thanks again!
That was a fun ride, glad you enjoyed too. I'm riding a Giant Trance E+ 3 Pro. The bike was perfect for this ride.
Great stuff Jerry
I hope it's good. The ride was fantastic.
