- American trailer for the 1987 omnibus film which featured segments by Katsuhiro Otomo, Koji Morimoto, Yasumomi Umetsu, and Takeshi Nakamura, and featuring music by Joe Hisaishi. Was a staple of the Scifi Channel back in the early 90s and is still a cult classic.

Old anime is the best anime.

Wow I totally forgot about this and I've seen it a bunch of times. Need to watch it again!
This trailer features the correct aspect ratio. All other versions of the film are cropped widescreen.
Misterioso Only Cloud is supposed to be in full frame. The rest are meant to be in widescreen.
surreal
Top Notch Music
Any idea what the song is?
@@DirtiestDMusic the song in question is a sped up version of the Franken gears theme from the movie
Robot Carnaval 😊
Ugh... pre-Adult Swim on TBS/TNT... I’m old.
It was also on Cartoon Network in the Japanimation days. ruclips.net/video/s_x7l_7O8Pg/видео.html
The algorithm is recommending too many old anime movies lately.
I wonder if Isaac Asimov got to see this before he died.
And was disappointed because it didn't spend 15 chapters talking about pointless philosophy and psychology?
I highly recommend the Discotek blu-ray.
Classic! A must have for any Otaku!
What VHS tape was this promo on?
Look this movie isn’t even my favorite, but can we just take a sec to remember how cool anime was when it was just fucking weird as hell. There’s no bite anymore!
The announcer does not sound like he's the least bit excited about it.
Stonetic Granted - he perfectly encapsulates the overall melancholy of intro/outro skits.
Anime was suposed to be art back then, now is just otaku bullshit.
