You should recognize a lot of this performance because this version is a take-off of another very young singer that you recently gushed over in a similar way. That being Angelina Jordan, whose version of this song you recently reacted to. The introduction here was all Angelina's version who was gifted copyright to her version by the surviving members of the band Queen. The tempo and pulled-back vocal style also was introduced by Angelina. Angelina is deeply steeped in jazz and colored this song with that influence. I did not see as strong a jazz influence in Putri's version. Putri's strength seems to lie in pop. And, Putri's version inherits much more from the POP genre. Picking up from your comments, Putri seems to land somewhere between Freddy Mercury and Angelina Jordan here, leaning a little more towards Angelina. BTW, I think these two singers are the same age.
