How does it compare to Giant Talon 0 2022, would it be enough for xc trails? Do you have stock of Fathom 1 Large or Talon 0 L? When do you guys usually restock?
Fathom is designed for XC and "off road trail" so suspension travel is longer than Talon series (Fathom 130mm, Talon 100mm) and frame grade is different, Fathom is lighter than Talon eventually (Fatham=Aluxx S, Talon-Aluxx-SL means Super light) even more, Fathom series also designed for Switch seat post perfectly. As u know, it is end of season of MY22 and bikes with L size and really rare in Korea, so U should wait new model in MY23 that will arrive in the midst of end of this year. I am sorry can't give positive answer for U. Take care
That's all right. The pleasure is mine. Unfortunately, it arrived one week ago and already sold and it is going to arrive Fathom 2 within 2 weeks in Korea. In case of U, I guess "M size" is good for U but choosing size have to be concerned with 1. Rider's tall and inseam length / 2. Experience & history / 3. flexibility, therefore I recommend contact the Giant dealer who is easy access before U choose size in final. In my opinion, if U want common XC riding, M size great but if U want playful riding in MT, S size is not bad. Take care
@@giantbikeinseoul3447 thanks! I have a road bike and gravel bike both medium. Hurt my shoulder so need a more upright geometry! Been riding since 2011. Take care!
Don't mention it. As U know, MTB geometry is comfortable than road or gravel bike, if I were U, I choose M size unless have plan to ride on off road 100% in mountain and to make it sure, try it similar bike via rental bike service.
