- Want to get OpenStreetMap vector data into QGIS and then clip it to only show your area of interest? Want to clip all layers at once, instead of one-by-one? Well, this video provides a workflow you can use, from getting the data via Geofabrik all the way through to batch clipping it to a boundary. In this video we look at how to do it for Mexico and Mexico City but the same approach applies no matter where you are.
It should work for anywhere on earth, but please remember that OpenStreetMap coverage is not complete for all features in all places - although it is generally very good for roads everywhere.
This video also demonstrates how useful the OSM Info plugin is, so check that out too!
