Wow that build up in the pipework. Think I need to get a jetting pipe after watching that I've always thought even doing a full purge every month that there might be some build up from the bottom drain and after watching that I'm sure there will be. Great watch as always.
Yeah the fry produce a lot of this sticky waste that coats the pipes all ponds do get it but this one is worse than most because of the amount of fry it has in it. Thanks 🙂
Good to see you posting, I love your content. Odd request, but I'd like to hear you speak about ponding culture in the UK. I live in the US and was surprised to learn how popular the hobby is there. Here, ponding is almost exclusively done in large excavated outdoor ponds with liners, and I think it's done more as a landscaping feature. There really isn't much of a hobbyist market at all to speak of. Thanks!

We Koi enthusiasts strangely enjoy cleaning and maintenance video's so keep making them Adam 👍. Cuttlebrook Farm, the tank is empty so expect a call for some fry when harvesting is over 🤣
Them pipe cleaning brushes would be good for your pipes, I’ve used water on my canister filter tubes before but it doesn’t clean it half as well as them brushes do
Just subscribed mate been watching for a few years now, them fry have come on very well, how are the fish doing in the house thats you have been working on with the neglected pond ? do you sell your fry on by any chance ? thats one very busy tank now 😂👍👌
Nice video Adam, how is that neglected pond doing now, would you recommend my pind bottom drain should be cleaned this way, I purge it two/three times till clear when I'm cleaning the multi bay filter, the fish look good and happy in there new home.
It's doing really well still a bit murky but i gave them a good water change accidentally the other day i cleaned the filter and forgot to turn water off lol but it probably a good thing. If its a good purge then you should be fine this tank doesn't have a massive water flow which is its downfall so you should be fine.
About the same although have different media requirements bakki shower needs BHM and a river needs Siporax but its so expensive now the best option is probably a shower.

I’ve noticed the last few weeks where the uk has had some awesome weather my fish colours have really got deep and colourful
They will do sun really helps reds and colours not so much blacks they are better in winter.
Any chance you can tell me what the big green tank you use at the start is so I can buy one haha

Why don't you paint the filter black rather than algae loving transparent, probably have to clean it less often

You ever looked in to an aquaponics system? you have a lot of good nutrients going to waste.
how do you deal with chlorine?
Adam why don't you just buy beneficial bacteria and put it in a pawn?
Your swimming pool shouldn't smell like chlorine just like your pond shouldn't smell like fish
