    I have the 16 edge 2.0. Great chair, only thing I can complain about is none of the screws in the chair have lock washers. I've had it a month and have replaced 9 screws so far and added lock washers. I also have a swing out controller. and have to tighten it once a week. We have thin grass where I live on sand, chair could not handle it at all. this guy must be on hard soil.

      Hi cyberwasp461. Have you contacted your provider about the screws? They should not be getting this loose so quickly. Please be advised that you should not use your power chair in the sand as it can damage your motors and electronics. Thank you. Rebecca

      Am not using it in sand, was commenting on this video not being true. Whomever did design it needs to go back to the drawing board though. Rebecca, I hope you realized this message was 9 months old!

      QuantumRehab my Q6 edge keeps going into Idle mode it won't move at all. What causes this and how do I fix it?

    • @cyberwasp461
      @cyberwasp461 7 лет назад +1

      I had a similar issue. Have someone remove the cover and make sure all the plugs going into the control box are clean and tight. The tend to come loose from the vibrations.

    How does this Q6 2.0 with the foot rest handle ramps? My older Q6, I have to stop and raise the foot flaps.

    The lift function isn't working anymore just tilt, feet, and back. My chair is new has a four button function but even on the screen it just shows tilt(back and seat) back, and feet but no the seat alone. Why is this, can it be loose cable? How do I get it to work again? Mind you when I say new I've driven it only near 5miles 4.9 to be exact. Why is it doing this?

    • @QuantumRehab
      @QuantumRehab  2 года назад

      Hi Leroy, if the iLevel feature isn't working, this could be due to a number of things. Please contact your Quantum dealer, where you originally purchased the chair. Have them run diagnostics and take a look to see what the issue is. In the meantime, have a friend or family member help you look for loose or frayed cables, to make sure everything looks okay.

    Mine always gets stuck when I drive on gravel, and my entire yard is gravel I'm sick and tired of getting stuck, and the one second delay in the joystick drives me nuts I keep crashing into things .

    • @QuantumRehab
      @QuantumRehab  6 лет назад

      Hello, you definitely need to contact your provider about the joystick delay. Something in the programming may need to be adjusted. Also, if you review your owner's manual, you'll see that we recommend avoiding driving on loosely packed gravel.

    I would not want to get a chair in white as any dirt will show up more... I think I will get my next chair in black.

    I have this chair and can barely get a little over 3 miles with brand new top of the line batteries. Not even close to the 15 miles described and I'm only 125lbs so it's not the weight. Sad that it's not even close to where you need.

    • @QuantumRehab
      @QuantumRehab  6 лет назад

      Austin, are you charging your batteries to full capacity every time you charge your chair? Keep your power chair’s batteries fully charged whenever possible. Batteries that are regularly and deeply discharged, infrequently charged, or stored without a full charge may be permanently damaged, causing unreliable power chair operation and limited battery life.

    • @QuantumRehab
      @QuantumRehab  6 лет назад +1

      Also, the kind of terrain you drive on also plays a huge role in battery range. If you have smooth, flat, hard terrain with no wind, hills or curves, you would be able to travel a farther distance, but if you have hills, sidewalk cracks, uneven or loosely packed surfaces, this will likely drain your battery faster. We encourage Quantum users to always charge their power chair fully prior to their trip, limit baggage, try to avoid inclines if possible, maintain an even speed and try to avoid stop-and-go driving.

    • @FightingMSA
      @FightingMSA 6 лет назад

      QuantumRehab I don't completely drain the batteries, and maintain the batteries as directed per your website.

    • @QuantumRehab
      @QuantumRehab  6 лет назад

      It may be a loose connection between your battery and motor. Please contact your provider and let them know of the issue. They can run diagnostic testing.

    I wish i had gotten a Q6 Edge® instead of the Rival a year ago. Very sad with the Rival, terrible balance and maneuverability. Great power and speed on smooth flat ground.

      Hello BamaBobAlex. We're sorry to hear you are unhappy with your Rival. Do you have any specific concerns that we might be able to help you with? Did you address your feedback with your provider? Thank you. Rebecca

      Yes, my provider (Alabama Wheelchair Specialist's) knows all about it.
      terrible balance and maneuverability. Great power and speed on smooth flat ground.
      don't go in gravel. don't go down steep grades, ramps, etc...
      I have black coil springs on the suspension, if you can call this suspension. i only weight 170 lbs, so i actually needed the yellow springs.
      Which i have NEW yellow springs that are still unopened in the shipping box..
      the 2 year warranted is up. i can't afford $100 to have the new springs put on.

      IMHO. Best chair ever made was the Jazzy jet 3 ultra. Never had a bit of trouble in 5 years and it went everywhere on any terrain. can out maneuver the quantum which I now own.
