    Why am I getting the feeling that I have improved a lot even tho I haven't moved an inch from my couch? I learned setting by intuition and observing so getting to know the reasons behind the movements aka techniques is giving me confidence already!

    Coach Donny, one more question. Can you make a video about setting "situational" ball? When the pass from recivers is not good, like setting with one hand only.

      It's a big lost for Polish National Team but atleast we still can admire his skills in Polish Volleyball 1st League. Like in the final match of Polish Cup when they did comeback while losing 8:3 in tie-brak! I recommend you to watch this match somewhere on RUclips. :)

    Out setter is injured and we don't have any other player who can substitute for him so I have become a provisional setter even though I am not that good at setting. These videos have helped me a lot.

    Thanks for producing these great videos. My daughter is a rising 9th grade setter and has being playing club for 5 years @ A5 in Alpharetta Georgia. These great fundamental videos plus the way that you explain the technique is perfect. Would love to know if you are hosting any camps. Perhaps we could visit.

      Pay attention to your peripheral vision. Go outside, focus on something and try to see whats happening outside your focused onject

    I was wondering : is back setting while in mid air any different than from the ground, especially for the use of legs/elbows/wrists ?

      I think it’s harder to generate power for a back set when I don’t jump. If you jump high enough you might also have the option for a dump.

    They are definitely amongst the best out there.
    I'd like to know how middle hitters know which type of attack they have to run. Sometimes I see teams running a 1, 3 or a slide but it seems, as if they are not giving each other any signs before the attack. How does your team usually handle that situation?

      +MrHirschkeule its the setters decission to chose where to set, everyone expects it, the combos are prepared pre-game or during time outs. Me and my team do, maybe there are other ways i dont know

    When the ball comes to me i always seem to step too forward so in the end the power seems to come from my back and is better for back set, is there any tips to help me set forward instead

    Here's the thing my friend who's a setter he is small like 4 feet and like 5 inches and the rest of us are 5 feet and like 4 inches and he sets really low and during our game he was bad but at least he tried this video really helped him

    helo, when setting the ball, is it necessary to face towards the Left Front ? cant the setter set the ball while facing their right front ?

      The setter can set while facing their right front, but the outside hitter is usually set to most in a match, so the setter usually faces them. Basically they make it so the setter has an easier time setting to the powerhouse.

      Levelclear 45 try hitting on the side of there hand so it goes out of bounds. Also it mainly depends on where you are in the court

      Boy or girl? Either way no...you can always run a 6-2 or just be a reasonably good jumper (mid forearms over the net)

    +Elevate Yourself Coach, can you make tip video or a small tutorial explaining about how to develop fast hands setting, just like this Youtuve video, ruclips.net/video/UEai9AXP2WY/видео.html ,... I can sort of do the front setting one, but I cant do the fast hand back setting, because It is sort of hard to catch it and release it very quick, My BackSet makes the ball spin when i try to quickly release it, if you can show the technique of fast hand setting for both and front and back like catching and releasing, It would help a lot, as always thanks for your videos :)
