Hi and thank for your great review. Are you not concerned about the zippers that are facing down giving access to the side pockets to open up accidentally, e.g. under pressure (like when the bag is full) , or its zipper pull catching on a branch, leaving the content exposed and risk falling off, or a thief behind you easily be able to open it?
Thank you and appreciate the questions! I am not concerned about this. The zippers are rather “stiff” and do not move easily (the zippers also have a small strip/seal running along them that helps keep it water resistant). I do not think pressure could push them open either and you would feel someone pulling on a zipper. Lastly, the bottom zippers only open up to the water bottle compartment. There is another stretchy piece of material that would keep any other items inside the main backpack compartment. This backpack has plenty of great pockets to keep all of your valuables safe. Let me know if you still have some questions and I can follow up. Thanks!
Appreciate it! I actually just got back from my first trip using the pack. There are definitely pros and cons. I love having the bottle secured inside the pack. Keeps everything clean and reduces the amount of things that could fall out or get caught. The access is super easy. I don’t like that it could potentially leak/spill inside the pack. Overall I like the feature so far! Let me know if you have specific questions. Thanks 🤙🏻
Have you tried the Panga 28? I know the panga is completely waterproof which is what attracts me to it but this one seems great for traveling which is what makes it so hard to choose because im kinda like in the middle. Any advice?tks
I have used one before. They are less practical and very rigid relative to this. Not geared towards heading to the office or on a plane like this bag. BUT, if you need your bag to be fully waterproof, that’s what it takes to get such an impressive feature. My guess is you don’t need fully waterproof. If you do…might need two bags or just use a dry bag to throw this yeti in.
@@unboxingaesthetic4427 I am not sure what one goes in this bag yet, if you open it and remove the factory plastic and measure it you can google Kevlar or fiberglass plates in that size. Remember to undersize it just a little.
It definitely doesn’t have a ton of cushion but if you strap the backpack on in the correct position (essentially just not handing down too far), it’s still very comfortable. The design of the back also allows the pack to stay super light and have a sleek appearance
No iPad sleeve? The top pocket from the laptop side is also shared on the front of the bag. Two separate zippers but the same “space” for gear. Seems to be a misrepresentation of accessible pockets. Water bottle space may separate it from your gear but that also takes away the space in the bag. Seems a bit clunky.
There is a laptop/iPad sleeve. Very rare for a pack to have two sleeves for those kind of devices. The additional zippers are to access your water, which I have found very useful. It definitely takes up some interior space but I use a smaller water bottle and love it. The interior spaces is large.
Fantastic review . I don’t want to like this bag but I do . Those removable straps are a big plus nice when you need them also nice when you don’t . I had other bags and they def hinder it . I actually like the inside water bottle pocket , streamlined and neat . Gonna be picking this up . Nice job .
I love the removable straps! I’ve already taken them on and off several times depending on what I’m using the pack for. I also love how you can adjust where the chest strap crosses, allowing for max comfort. Totally agree on the neatness the inside water bottle pocket creates. Thank you!! What color are you going with?!
@@zman8340 it’s definitely black but the gray on the back support and inside of the straps is nice. The Yeti patch on the front is also a dark gray. I imagine the material will fade over time as well.
@Skank Hunt could you give some examples ? Similar style or more tactical/ technical ? I’ve been on the hunt for awhile and this check the boxes for me in style , size , material and layout . I’d like to support a domestic made product but can’t find any that are just right . When one pays this price you want it to be just right
Great review. However, I would of liked to see you wearing it when it was empty and wearing it when it was packed full. Maybe you can put it on and model it because I’m trying to figure out how big the size looks
Yes, it has the ability to stand up on its own but really depends on how you pack it. As long as you have your heavier items on the bottom and no laptop in there, it stands pretty easily. Cheers 🤙🏻
I actually have had that issue but I don’t consider it a reason to not buy/use the bag. It only happens if I pull on a strap very hard trying to get the backpack on, maybe over a large jacket or something. It doesn’t happen once the backpack is on.
This is a great review. I just feel like you should have packed it and looked it over better before shooting the video. Just food for thought. Still a great video.
Thanks man, really appreciate it! I’ve definitely considered doing that but I honestly like providing natural, initial, reactions versus prepping and then providing a formulated opinion or reaction. I know it is not as polished or smooth but it’s real.
Perfect bag for a long hiking trip
I wasn't sure if I should sure spend $ for this or not. Great review. Thanks man. Really helpful.
I am debating between this bag and the North Face Surge. Kinda torn. I like the luggage pass through on this one.

Great review I just don’t know if that water bottle location works for me.

Cool review. I was also wondering what kind of camera case that is? See others have same questions. Thanks!
It is a USA Gear DSLR Camera Sleeve. I believe I purchased it on Amazon and it looks they are still selling the product.
Nice review. What’s the camera case? And what type of camera is that? Thanks
@unboxingaesthetic, any updates on this? Curious what kind of camera case this is as well
Great vid, thanks for sharing!
Thanks Travis, appreciate it!
4:55, that's for a plate carrier. A bulletproof plate if you want one.
Wow, could you send a link for a plate that would fit in there? Very curious. Thanks!

The luggage pass through looks stiff. Is it comfortable against your back when traveling?

Curious if the bag stands up on its own? Looks like it falls over? Cheers

I have read complaints that the shoulder straps require constant adjustment. Have you or anyone reading this had that issue?
I actually have had that issue but I don’t consider it a reason to not buy/use the bag. It only happens if I pull on a strap very hard trying to get the backpack on, maybe over a large jacket or something. It doesn’t happen once the backpack is on.
I'm wondering if this would be good for skiing (and falling/rolling)
No cooler lunch bag compartment!?
Does it fit as personal item under seat with airlines?
Yes, it will fit under an airplane seat
where is the serial number located?
Wait no yeti bottle?!
Nope, I need to get one!
Could this be used as a personal item on a delta flight vs a carry on?
Yes, it will fit under an airplane seat
Hi Bro, would you like to review our new backpacks?
Can I fit an outfit in there ?… I am going on a flight I don’t want to buy a suitcase ..
Nice 👍
Ok so where or how you access that zipper? You went to another direction.
Which one, I went out of order on accident but I think I showed them all?
What kind of wallet do you have
That would be the MagSafe wallet from Apple that pairs with the latest iPhone and accessories

YKK zippers?
Yes, all zippers on the pack are YKK.
@@unboxingaesthetic4427 Thanks.
On the fence with the Prickly Pink 😬
Pardon me?
I have a 30% off coupon, waiting for the prickly pear color to come back in stock!
Seriously... 👎

This is a 35L not a 27
Haha I think I know which backpack I purchased and reviewed…it’s 27L
It s 35L he’s right
@@kevinabernardoThe 35 opens like a clam shell. This one does not, it’s a 27.
