Hue and Cry and Level 42 were (and still are) the top of British Funk Movement. Brilliant!

I haven't listened to this since the 80s. I'm a 56-year-old man in Canada who absolutely love this band in the 80s. Thanks for the post and the memories. Great lyrics embraced by Funk!

One of the best voices out there. Brilliant songs and arrangements. Excellent sax players too. Such excellent musicians! Love them to bits!

One o the best bands and voices in the industry, Pat is very underrated……only seen these guys once live, a couple of years ago, they have got better with time, and what a fantastic gig it was, always give 100%……strength to strength is my favourite track…..👍👌🇮🇲

I was there. They played the set live then moved the cameras and then mimed to the recording so they could get more camera angles. It was a great night.

I'm watching it now and trying to work out which shots are "live" and which are "lip sync"!

Of course, the bassist would have his bass up to his friggin neck.

I remember this band from the 80's. I guessed they'd be bald now.

Yes both brothers totally bald, it happens to the best of us, they are still good though, greet memories from the 80s, my favorite decade for music and everything to be honest, I am 54 now, I would go back to the 80s in a heartbeat.

@@wakinguptothetruth.2566 Plenty of older men look sexy with less or no hair. Sean Connery, Yul Brynner, David Essex for instance. A thick mop can look faintly ridiculous and wig-like at times and younger men often shave their heads to look cool and masculine.
Hue and Cry are great and Pat Cane at 59 always was and is a good looking man with one of the best voices going.

"Guy off Simply Red" sounds dodgy. Blimey! Who'd have thought it eh 🤔
