Great stuff. I love my mantis. Made in 1990 and still on the original carb. Cracking machines for the allotment and flower beds. Always fires first time. 2 pulls choke on then choke off and fires right up. 😁
Yeah mate not a bad little tiller
Got to love them. I've got two 1992 models and what you said nailed it. Simply Prime, feŵ pulls on choke then 1st pull choke off.

A little fiddly like you said Mick but good job anyways. At Eliminator we drain all the old two stroke fuel and add the Gulf Pro Fuel 50:1 premixed alkylate fuel then give the customer the rest of the canned fuel to use for winter storage . Never an issue and they always fire up the next season cause this fuel is stable for 2 years once opened

Those little cultivators do dust up a lot of dirt and debris to clog up the filters.

I have one and it appears to be leaking from the three lil holes the tubes go into.

Hi Mick. I did a similar repair to a Mantis Tiller last year. It had a small 4 stroke Honda motor tho, otherwise identical. Ran lovely, really quiet, not much power tho. Any further forward with the Kaaz roller gearbox?? 😉

@@themowerman no just trying to put the trigger handle back together have put a new throttle cable on and it is just not playing ball x

think idol was bit to high it was literally pulling stool over lol if you did that with chain saw can be very dangerous turn idol back a little mick lol maybe set low as well cheers buddy

I believe it was the wrong filter.. and may if been the reason it was bogging.. looked home made to me. Ta for the comment
