This song would have been amazing to experience live. I'm actually hugely disappointed that they're only really doing Love Spreads at the recent shows. Second Coming is so underrated!
They also did Breaking into Heaven & Begging You, alongside Love Spreads are really their three best songs from Second Coming. Tho I love How Do You Sleep and Your Star Will Shine, as well as the Zeppelin vibe of Second Coming.
I don't think there's been anyone for the last 30odd years that can match Squire. He sounds just as good if not better as the many of the legends from the 60's & 70's era. No band in todays modern age has a musician like him and doubt they ever will!!
Does my head in when I hear people say "second coming is shit compared to early stuff" and "its got to much guitar in it" For me Squire got it just right here and in the The Seahorses for guitar playing in "popular" music :)

Definitely.
Yeah + Squire probably would've switched to Strat anyway, great guitar but dont suit these Zeppelin-fused riffs.
You can make any guitar sound like anything with effects@@ChainNonSmoker

Second coming is one of the best album of all time
P.S. John Squire is god

Ruined by Maddix thumping away like a demented road drill
As soon as they started to sound a bit blusey the English started to dislike them.
