I just would love for somebody to admit, Vanderbilt flat outplayed Alabama. They kept the ball away from them and held on. That's why they won and Bama lost. Alabama needs to get over Nick and move on. How many years are we going to hear their fans cry, "If Nick was here"? he's gone, move on with your lives, you had a great run, you knew he had to retire or die one of these days. You wore everyone out with your bragging and boosting, and now you have to live like the rest of College football.
Vanderbilt would have beat any team in the country that night, the way they played.

I’m a Bama fan that will admit Vandy played a good game and deserved the win. I will also say Bama’s two turnovers didn’t help, nor did having two number 2s on the field at the same time to negate a punt for Vandy didn’t help.

There was a situation way back in the 1990s during the Coach Goff era for UGA. Vandy had a good team and gave Alabama fits at Alabama. Alabama won of course but it was a scare, Therefore UGA had its warning. UGA did not heed the warning and Vandy beat UGA at UGA.
That team threw the game to get Goff fired ,my brother seen some of the Vanderbilt fans at a bar and he said they were saying they knew Georgia let them win but they still enjoyed winning

Coach Stallings listened to what he had to say, so he asked the caller a question. Sir have you ever coached football?
