My favorite detail is how you repurposed the screen door. I feel it not only adds to the cottage charm but makes a point in being eco conscious. Nice touch.
Very pretty, I like it. Memory/story about a metal frame bed. When I was a kid (many moons ago) I would stay at my grandparents' house out in the "country" for weeks during the summer, I loved it so much. The bedroom I stayed in had an old full size metal frame bed and Grandma called it a prison bed because Grandpa said it looked like the beds they had in institutions back in the "old" days. I was too young to understand what that meant, to me it was just soft a cushy bed that I didn't have to share with a sibling. The headboard was placed up underneath a double window in the front bedroom of the second floor and I had a great view of the front yard with rows of trees planted straight up and down and the old highway that ran past the front of the house and its occasional traffic. The bed would squeak every time I moved. It was a left-over from the Depression and in the 1950s, looking back now with the eyes of an adult, I think it reminded my grandparents of the hardship and poverty of the time as they struggled to raise their family on an acre and a half truck farm - that was their only source of income as there was no work to be had in the area. Still, being thrifty, even after times improved, they kept the bed. To me, it was the height of luxury to have it all to myself, squeaks and all, and the bed linens always smelled of fresh air.
Absolutely stunning. Not sure what to love more... the barn door, the wall paper, or those leather pants! Need a ruggable in my life. Thanks for sharing

Just beautiful! I’m going to be checking out that bead board wallpaper. I’ve been wanting some thing like that in my own bedroom for quite some time. A little tip for you - for wooden drawers that won’t slide easily, you can use wax on the bottom of the drawer edges or the interior rails to help them glide easier.
I love that you create a really livable, thoughtful and beautiful room without casually spending most people's annual salary (which so many reno shows do).
What i love about this, is that it is a timeless take on cottagecore. I can definitely see the influence, but it's practical and it will still look really cute in the years to come. Also surprise dog at 4:41 ! ❤❤
This turned out so pretty. My daughter's room is about this exact size and she has a loft twin from ikea. Nice to see what it looks like with a larger bed. I love the green in the wallpaper tied into the beautiful fabric on the pillow. And that rug is just gorgeous and totally grounds the space. Simply lovely!
