Frontier will appreciate that someone is promoting the features of Elite Dangerous, it's also nice to know there's more to Elite Dangerous than dropping passengers and goods between stations, good job.
Sadly this masterful video showcases the worst failings of Odyssey. You can run from your quarters on the station through some generic, lifeless corridors populated by motionless, expressionless, lifeless NPCs and when you finally reach your ship it's just *POP* total disconnect as you *POP* teleport into your pilot's seat. Then repeat, transferring to your SRV. They wasted all that time and effort making tiny, soulless copy/paste space stations and a crap, grindy FPS shooter with undesirable, dated gameplay that would have been reviewed abysmally had Odyssey come out in 2004. The only thing people really wanted from Odyssey was freedom to get up out of your seat and seamlessly explore the ships we've been flying around in for hundreds or thousands of hours since 2014, and explore the stations we've landed at countless times with their bridges, gardens, sculptures, roads with vehicles etc. I don't think people would have been disappointed if FPS combat missions were added on top of that as a bonus, even with the poor-quality, dated gunplay they offer.
I'm not going to deny that Frontier could add more engaging elements to Elite, even now I'm doing a commodities mission where the commodity is in low supply and the payout is abysmal at approximately 3 million credits, I can make 8 million in one jump never mind the ten jumps I've already done and I'm still not finished jumping. I'll get an additional slap in the face as the reputation bar for the person I'm doing the job for needs filling so I won't even make 3 million credits. Elite is still full of time gobbling activities that offer a disgustingly low payout even in 2024.@@chrisfanning5842

Those hunters are a real pain in the ass, the expression in Italian is less strong but this is a translation... in any case, I'm happy that every now and then you also see T 10s in the videos. It took a brave girl to break this prejudice, everyone loves kittens and dogs but even teddy bears are beautiful right ? ^ ^
Geat cinematics! Unholy frikking cheesecake and them dinos are ugly as hell !! And i dont even do the on foot stuff!!! Its dangerous and dirty out there! Have you thought about maybe using TTS to give your cmdr a voice? Its a bit silly but you can realy tell more of a story that way.
And I thought a frame had more than a thousand words :p I like to talk in my own voice but I'm afraid that my dialect might disturb some like I did in someone else's video, and besides I have slight Dyslexia and English is not my main language, I have no difficulty in understanding English but I find it difficult to express myself when I haven't had the opportunity to speak so much English around my surroundings where I live. Nice content. Currently playing ED in VR after years of a break, having a blast. So sad the space legs part does not work in true VR. So I am sticking with my Horizon Expansion for the moment. I really hope FD will pick up some future development for ED after all this bad press about Odyssey and half baked features. They truly have a jewel of a game (if you don't mind the missing story arc and multiple layers of grind levels implemented) - I am OK with it.
