It really is an amazing place.
Skulls are very important to the mexican people. They celebrate the Day of the Dead. It is like a memorial day to honor the ancestors. Skulls remind them of our mortality and to not fail to show love to those who are living! Most of the skulls on the southern border come from the spanish countries because Spain influenced mexico with a romantic outlook on life. The symbols of skulls are beautiful to these people and are reminders of how important the living are to us. Happy Birthday! You remind me of my friend who's Biryhday is the 14th.

Kate-I’ve cabbed fluorite. Just use a little thicker slab and work slow. I start on the 180 for shaping.

WOW, loved the red, green and blue ones, so much beutiful gemstones, SIGH....I think I have to save up to buy some, but we have to pay toll-taxes, only free toll for under 20 dollar, so not much you can buy for that price. So many beutiful colors. Only been able to buy some at expos here, they do not have big ones like at your shows. Thank you for the tours.
