I can't believe I have never tried Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. It has been around since 1844 ! Today I check out if its actually any good, make sure to watch till the end to find out I give it the thumbs up recommendation or thumbs down for not so much... Lets Do This!

I used to be a beer snob,then decided to try the classic American beers. This beer is great,goes down smooth very enjoyable. Just make sure it's cold.Lesson learned... Don't be a beer snob.
I've been working in craft breweries the last 30 years I see more world class brewers drinking this and high life than anything else.

My favorite lager. Just the thing after skiing.
I find the bottled version a bit more crisper. The can version is perfectly fine, but the bottled one is just a tad smoother, IMO.
I find the present bottled version to be a bit sweet tasting - I think the metallic taste from the cans must offset this effect. I used to think the old long-neck bottles (I mean the old returnable bottles from the 80s) were better but nowadays I go for the cans.

Yeah, light beer is 4-4.2. Heavy American lagers are 4.7-5.0 ... so Pabst is not light(4.74).

This is an ok beer. If I went to a concert and they only had American macro beers. I'd go for this one
Damn straight it's good; one of the best domestic beers on the market. IMHO
Pabst Blue Ribbon is said to have a "kiss of the hops". At the end of the sip, I do get just a hint of bittering that I don't get with Miller, Coors or Bud.

New subscriber enjoy your channel .And as a Boomer one my fave old school Boomer Beers with Miller Gansett Genny Cream since the early 80s .Lately though tried and enjoyed both better than beers mentioned ,Hamms and Schlitz now
Both are palate friendlier less hoppy and very less hoppy to me

Its not like smooth, its not drinkable but thats whats good about it. When you drink it down and its like Washington rushing down your throat to fight the redcoats and the indians.
