My winning team: Empoleon Machamp Staraptor Rapidash Heracross Luxray My strategy was trading my team to my HeartGold and beating Lance there, and coming back to Cynthia with a much better team.
I feel like her Lucario is so underrated. Garchomp is obviously her ace and is indeed strong, but to face against her Lucario too was so challenging considering most of your time is probably wiped after fighting Garchomp.
When i played through the first time i beated it in my childhood, probably because all i did was mainly train one pokemon and didnt care about strategy at all. Just beating trainers qnd then the champion eventually. I was a kid at the time. Feeling nostalgic about that era.
That altaria dragon dance strategy is super op. I replayed platinum and used altaria because of watching this vid. My level 57 altaria 1 hit KOed her entire team after using dragon dance till my stats couldn't get any higher. The only difference is, I used roost instead of abusing potions.
I did this too after watching this years ago. Only difference is pretty sure my Altaria still killed the Milotic, probably had a better nature or was higher leveled
When i played this game first time, spiritomb viped out my entire team. I've played all gens except 6th and this gym was the one that i struggled most because of the spiritomb.
I remember playing Gen 4 when it first came out and got my ass kicked at the elite 4 and champion even now all these years later if I do a replay of Platinum with my preplanned teams I still have a hard time beating Cynthia hands down the best champion

You need someone to set up entry hazards and someone with Drizzle and the Full Restores aren't needed. Basically, the entry hazards help you drain some health when they are sent. Drizzle causes Rain and Magikarp has Swift Swim, so it becomes faster in rain. Have all Magikarp hold a Focus Sash to ensure they remain at 1 HP, then spam Flail. Flail deals more damage if the user has less HP. Use some other Pokemon to deal with Spiritomb. You can also have a Pokemon with Roar or Whirlwind. It causes automatic switching and can drain a lot of HP
*I'd love to help, but I'm afraid I can't remember how you get the TM Dragon Dance, or even if it is a TM. @@minichaos3752 Red I feel is less badass because he comes back all the time and gets beaten often. His destiny is to lose to later trainers. He loses to Gold/Lyra/Kris, Nate/Rosa, Elio/Selene, Elaine/Chase, and I'm pretty sure he loses to Dawn/Lucas but I might be wrong
2000’s kids, we had it all. So many memories...
Ok but why is no one talking about how cool she looks at 0:21
My winning team:
Empoleon
Machamp
Staraptor
Rapidash
Heracross
Luxray
My strategy was trading my team to my HeartGold and beating Lance there, and coming back to Cynthia with a much better team.
What a bitch
I toxic stalled Garchomp lol
Oh btw she has perfect IVs
The music that plays before you actually battle her might be the greatest music in Pokémon history! Just gives me so much chills !
That piano is iconic

ah shit, here we go again
DankPants YOU PICKED THE WRONG LEAGUE FOOL
Is her Milotic a god damn immortal?!
Nah. Milotic is just dang bulky
her fucking aqua ring
@@naturalharmoniagropius4486 milotic IS *THIQQ*
Mirror coat

Hearing that piano strikes such intense fear into my heart that words can’t do it justice
I feel like her Lucario is so underrated. Garchomp is obviously her ace and is indeed strong, but to face against her Lucario too was so challenging considering most of your time is probably wiped after fighting Garchomp.
Imagine getting 5/6 of your team get killed by garchomp and your last mon was killed by lucario
When i played through the first time i beated it in my childhood, probably because all i did was mainly train one pokemon and didnt care about strategy at all. Just beating trainers qnd then the champion eventually. I was a kid at the time. Feeling nostalgic about that era.
I remember when i got pokemon pearl, pokemon platinum ddint exist
That altaria dragon dance strategy is super op. I replayed platinum and used altaria because of watching this vid. My level 57 altaria 1 hit KOed her entire team after using dragon dance till my stats couldn't get any higher. The only difference is, I used roost instead of abusing potions.
I did this too after watching this years ago. Only difference is pretty sure my Altaria still killed the Milotic, probably had a better nature or was higher leveled
Gyarados with dragon dance and waterfall is even stronger. You only need two or three dragon dance depending on how your evs
When i played this game first time, spiritomb viped out my entire team. I've played all gens except 6th and this gym was the one that i struggled most because of the spiritomb.
Levi Hackerman gahdam
Levi Hackerman gym?...
Congratulations! You suck in Pokémon!
This video is the proof!
@@pedromonteiro2248 yeah the spiritomb was eaz lmfao
Odd, I just used 3 attacks and it died
Got to use Pikachu, infernape, sylveon, Noivern, mega lucario and greninja to beat the remakes of diamond and pearl.
I bet you're feeling stupid now lol
I checked it out. No Kalos Pokémon or mega evolutions in Brilliant diamond but there is lucario, Pikachu and infernape.
I remember playing Gen 4 when it first came out and got my ass kicked at the elite 4 and champion even now all these years later if I do a replay of Platinum with my preplanned teams I still have a hard time beating Cynthia hands down the best champion
I lose 3 Times only because his freaking garchomp
My team when I beat her:
Infernape
Gastrodon
Driftblim
Weavile
Drapion
Bronzong
0:11 it starts (if you hate waiting like me)
This battle is harder then blue
it took me 40 minutes to beat her
i only had 5 full restores and 5 max revives ...
and my pokemon were at lv 52. so yeah it was stressful

And I still can't beat the lvl 62 Garchomp she has. Idk what to do.
grind for levels
+DeepPG CastleClash Haha I beat her like 10 minutes after I commented this. She missed Dragon Rush twice and I got a critical hit with my Dragon Rush with Garchomp and I was able to OHKO all her other pokemon lol. I needed the Quick Claw to win though sadly.
get an abomasnow
+Tibi Metin ikr xD
i hate her garchomp so much, scares me as it used dragon rush.
One of the best battle music in a video game in my opinion :3
I liked Cyrus' battle music better :D but that's just my opinion
Lc Smirk Thats awesome music too :3
I love the musik from the champion in X and Y
Dark bowser theme
The best is trainer red

Am I the only one who used Girintiana while fight Cynthia?
Ah Cynthia, such a hard champion that the creators nerfed her in platinum
ehhh. nah not really. I mean, sure she's lower level, but so are you. And i'd argue that she has a better team in platinum, if you look at the movesets.
They nerfed EVERYONE in Platinum.
Funny story. In my fist playthorie I win easily against Cinthia with my overlervese Roserade. And it was pretty easy! Get to here was hard togh
Who thought she was hard
my team
100lvl palkia
100lvl giratina

Legendaries? Why?!
I the only were to listen the spiritomb, he like "into" the music
What?
@@ConnorTheSpooky Listen, when Spiritomb enter the stadium, he's like "in" the theme
Hands down, the best theme in pokemon
I beat cynthia with level average about 50 with:
Gallade
Magnezone
Infernape
Vaporean
Giratina
Staraptor
btw vaporean is a beast in the champion battle :D lots of tankyness and good damage with surf
note: kill spiritomb with Giratina and beat garchomp with vaporean (heal with potion if vaporean is low and ice beam)
Why use legendaries?
My team was:
Infernape
Roserade
Vaporeon
Gardevoir
Luxray
Altaria
They were all Level 55. I still remember me grinding during a school lunch break lol.
My team:
Magicarp

Chui Alvin *Magikarp
Chui Alvin it's magikarp not magicarp
I can't stop laughing
I know right
of course you going to win with all them dragon dances
Cool
I am not sure if anyone is going to read this but how do you get dragon dance in this game?
*I'd love to help, but I'm afraid I can't remember how you get the TM Dragon Dance, or even if it is a TM. Sorry about that, buddy. 😓 Oh, wait a second, I've just remembered I had a Dragonite who learnt Dragon Dance by level-up! So why not catch a Dratini and level it up and evolve it to get Dragon Dance!? Good luck, bud! 😆👍✌*
the real reason we don't get a remake is that even gamefreak is afraid of cynthia
Everyone wants a remake of diamond and pearl, but do you realize that whit a remake of those chyntia would became so fucking easy, since all the pokemon games we have today, right?
My winning team in the mid 50s:
Scizor
Gallade
Garchomp
Staraptor
Roserade (did not think Cynthia would have one as well...)
Magmortar
Rip starter
9.7/10 where's the starter?

Captain Kon'Doriano I ditched mine and traded over my feraligatr

Infernape,
Typhlosion,
Ho-oh (POSSIBLY!)
Lucario
Raichu
Floatzel

Hah! Defeat the league 10 times and try again. All of the league and the rival get +10 levels to every pokémon after that. Win another 10 times and Barry's team get another +10 boost.

thanks for making Blaze Black and Volt White series. You are a legend.
Altaria swept half of the team.
Screw the haters that say set-up moves in the story battles don’t matter, because especially this battle, they are helpful.
Its very common in sweeping teams especially if its a hard champion, people who say that probably never played competitive
I remembered Expfarming my whole team to lv 60 just to even get the chance to one up her
remakes!!
