I have Nectar 3 Elements, which is around $39 on sale, although I paid $29 if I recall correctly. It does the same thing as shown here, except that rather than having controls for every step applied, you have a slider for each element. They're set halfway, at 1 x the amount of that effect added. Then you can slide up to have up to twice the amount of the effect, or down to have less or none of that effect. To explain a little better, you can't adjust the attack, release, threshold or ratio on the compressor, and you don't know what values the AI used when compressing the vocal, but you can add more compression by sliding the fader up, or less compression by sliding it down, same with everything else that the AI has used on your vocal. If you don't like what it's done, you just play it a different section of the vocal track, or loop a problem area while it's analysing the vocal track. In my opinion, the Elements version is well worth the money. I'll still use other plugins on the track too, some before to get the most out of it (compression and limiting mostly), and some after, but it does a really good job, and I'd say well worth getting. I haven't tried the others, that's why I'm watching the vid, CLA Vocals is $29 in the Black Friday sale and I wanted to check it out.
very cool video and great vocals at the end I have to say that SSL Vstripe rocks very well. I think the EQ's are tailored exactly for the frequencies of vocals, for this reason it seems like you're limited, but in the mix it's actually completely different. Thx for this vid.
Appreciate this video... I use Nectar and all Izotope plugins on subscription but have been thinking about Waves CLA so I really appreciate the comparison.
Great comparison .I totally agree with you on the SSL Vocal Strip.I had a chance to get it for $12.I passed because I already have what it has to offer in individual plugins.
Earned a sub brother. A friend has nectar 2 or 3 and I thought it was cute. I didn't get in a groove with it but you use it very well. I've been using CLA Vocals for years it's in most signal chains if just for the eq or stereo only. And I did get the SSL for 20 bucks I use it on certain artist but it does give you a bit of sparkle ❇ that the other 2 just does not. Great reviews
The SSL sounded the best. The compander is probably something most people don't have, unless you have MV2 or Sclupt. You're right...at $200, no way. Absolutely no way am I spending $200 on that even though it does have pixie dust under the hood.
@@BrxProd-ho5ez Thanks. I actually ended up buying it a couple months ago for the same $15 price. They also had that $50 SSL bundle...but TBH...I already have tons of SSL emulations plugins which I don't even use except for the GComp. However, Softube came out with a GComp clone and it is baaaaad. Instant buy.
First! Watching now, will be interesting. I have used the Cla epic and echosphere plugins before and they were amazingggggg, so will be cool to see how the cla vocal plugins work compared to others.
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK I may end up picking up a copy, I am wanting to try doing some vocals myself, and my voice will need all the post effects under the sun
Dope Review. I was just curious about the VocalStrip as well. It seems like the DrumStrip is on point but the Vocal Strip is pretty utility. CLA Vocals works way more than it should lol. Bless fam.
I got the SSL vocal vst free because I have the Slate Digital package and the companies just merged. I put it on 1 track and it was super CPU intensive. So, I wasn't able to use it. But what I did hear sounded pretty nice. I think I have the Nectar stuff, but when I upgraded my rig, I don't have the license info. I have to remember how I got the Nectar stuff. 😂😂
I almost got that ssl just cause 19.99 but accusonus was bought out by meta and is giving out the era bundle for free and I will say it is pretty sick and has the learning ai too. I saw the ssl was very basic for 200 damn. Any way go scoop Era bundle it’s dope.
Super-solid comparison, thanks! Related: do you have any experience w/ "de-breather" type plugins? Wondering whether it's worth removing/reducing the breath noise manually or if there's a better (…easier…) way
for me ssl rly killed the sibliants like no others. But the truth is its not worth this money as u said. And as the best vocal vsts i gonna always say FAB FILTER
Nectar 3 plugin is Hot 🔥🔥🔥 Now Sir May you please help me how to load it in the FL studio and Cubase 5 so that I will be able to use it... please!!!! I will be grateful.....

Right. For the price you should get more.
@@SumnSumnSumnHTK Bro , how does eventide ultrachannel compare to these three? Can you do a review soon?

Just stumbled across this channel. Excellent and pro review. Gonna check out the others. Good work.

Thank you. Very interesting. I‘ve got the first two. 👍🏻👍🏻
That Vocal strip 2 plugin comes free with the ssl2 interface 🔥

I'm gonna be honest I don't typically use de-breather plugins. I'm old school so I do it manually. 😆
Just use a gate super simple use r vox there's a gate on there
great. review !!
Tip: Use the Vocal Rider preset for Patcher to let your compressor be more consistent.
SSL..SOUNDED BETTER, MORE SOLID!, MORE BODY
Short conclusion, which one is better?
Thank you
Nectar 3 is a dope pluggin
Defo seems it
Nectar 3 is the GOAT vocal plugin!!
Thanks dude

Have all three thank heavens. I need to figure out how to use all three in a song.
Thanks for the video! Do you know which of them uses less CPU resources? It's for using it on live sessions without crackings.
Thanks!!
excellent
Actually the CLA Vocals sounds better to me. It had less S in the vocals than the other two.
Liked your track

No surprise which one is the go-to.

I got Thang free. I like the eq on their.
Well, that CLA is pretty cool if you don't have Nectar.
