Love how devoted the cameraman was to getting the shot of the child falling off the caravan.

I was at a “heritage day” event down in Mayo about 3 years ago and the fella in charge organized for a “tinker” to come out from Castlebar and set up a “tinkers camp” in the field. He was calling the traveler a tinker right to his face. I never laughed so much in my life

I'm wondering if that's the elder Jackie Healy-Rae? Lovely footage, it's lovely to hear the little children playing.

What’s the problem with the word “tinkers”? Is it a social stigma? I believe they were called tinkers because of their trade work with tin, making and repairing tin buckets, etc.

Take the next step now and ban using a live goat. High time to put a goat STATUE up there and let the wild goat go wild, the poor thing must be terrified. Tradition be damned at one time it was tradition to go barefoot and hungry but now we can afford better things. Let's give the goat his freedom and show the world that we are civilized and kind. Come on Kerry !!
