How to make a simple Ship model stand. Scale 1/72.

Today we'll build a simple stand for a ship model. To make it you'll just need a few planks of the same size.

What timber and paint/stain are you using?

For the details of this stand, I used beech wood. It is quite strong, has small fibers, and quite thin details can be cut from it. I also like the pear tree.
As for the paint: here I use artistic oil paints heavily thinned with the appropriate thinner. It turns out a brown liquid.
