There is something comforting to think about the two figures in this image being about 6 and 4 inches tall, living amongst an old oak tree, and the alliance is between the Hermit of the Hollow (currently at war with squirrels) and the toad of the root. Long, live the alliance. ⚔️🤝… feels good man.
In the depths of the magical forest, among the mighty trees, an old oak tree grew, its branches stretched to the sky, and its roots went into the very core of the earth. This oak was home to dwarves who lived in its hollows and underground burrows. The dwarves were jack-of-all-trades: they could forge magical objects, create potions, and even weave spells from nature. However, recently the peaceful life of the dwarves has been disrupted. Squirrels got into the forest - cunning and restless creatures who began to steal dwarves' supplies and destroy their small houses. The dwarves, not used to such troubles, decided to seek help from the Hermit of the Void, a mysterious creature who lived in seclusion on the edge of the forest. The Hermit of the Void was known for his wisdom and strength, but also for his strange nature. He often immersed himself in thought and meditation, forgetting about the outside world. However, when the dwarves came to him asking for help, he finally came out of his trance. "I'll help you," he said, his voice sounding like the whisper of the wind.
Been going back to college after the military and cryo crypt has legit been the biggest help with me staying focused. Put this on in my headphones and I can power through studying or essays.
This is dungeonsynth perfected. It's a cool genre, but I can't really listen to much of it before getting fatigued. But Tales From the Oak (and apparently Mountain Realm whom I just discovered) really found that sweet spot, elevating the composition and arrangement without sacrificing the dungeon synth fundamentals.
Just gonna say it, Mountain Realm and Tales Under the Oak are two of my favorite producers of music in this genre. Easily some of my most listened to music comes from these two.
The funny thing is I was looking for more tracks like "Burzum - Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Säule Der Singularität" I'd never thought that 10 years later a fully fledged genre would emerge of this. I also dig the fact that you guys made a full subchannel out of this. Thanks for everything!

I love the titles, "An Invite to the Toad King", "An Invite for the Northern Tribes", "The Handshaking Hall", and "A Last Toast to New Brother." They really speak of friendship and respect.
I come back here at least 2 times a week, as it really helps to create the right mood at work. This album also inspired me to write Dungeon Synth. I really wanted to order a tape, but they don't deliver it to my country
I was coming home on a 7 hour flight playing Kingdom Come Deliverence on my Steam Deck, turned off the game music and had this in the background instead, before I realised it we were landing.
What kind of picture is that, Sylkon of the Wizarding Mountains and the Frog Brotherhood would never shake hands and form an alliance. But the music is good.
Estas canciones las vende manera física? es decir en un disco o casset con portada y todo, simplemente es música por digital ? me gustaría tener estos albums de manera física, ¿y si si los venden por donde los puedo comprar?.
.. i kind of just downloaded a ton of rimworld mods to make the game a medievil fantasy with syfi elemnts and it includes imps and toadbeings...the alliance shall be real.
You didn’t find this album, this album found you

Pure simple ancient civility at work. All is well in the little hidden world.

Going back to school is f'n rough. Good luck out there!

I don’t know how you did it ! But you have to know this beyond human ability !! Just fabulous, no way being better.

Love seeing a fresh Cryo Crypt when I get into work.
Just gonna say it, Mountain Realm and Tales Under the Oak are two of my favorite producers of music in this genre. Easily some of my most listened to music comes from these two.
Mountain Realm's synth hits differently. Those synth notes at the beggining of the first track are amazing.
A t shirt with this design will be fantastic✨️
Amazing music....as always
I'd buy one.
One of the most badass art works on this album! Wow, just wow, the longer I stare at it, the further in fantasy I dive.
Wow, cool story! 💀
It's astonishing how compelled I am to listen to Cryo Crypt. Truly, each album so far is masterpiece quality.
Hello from Asheville.. thanks for your supportive mugical vibes as we get back on our feet. Hearing you Cryo Crypt!!!
I put your cassette in my family ride. Nahce shii mang
Glad you're okay. I hope y'all get all you need VERY soon 🙏
i need the 7 albums of this saga stiched back to back in a single video
I listened to this on work route this morning, on my way home, and again now that I am playing classic WoW. Its so good
literally the best possible collaboration. i have been listening to this so much and playing it softly during a recent rpg campaign!
The funny thing is I was looking for more tracks like
"Burzum - Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Säule Der Singularität"

Dungeon Synth is older than Burzum.

Varg Vikernes was born on the 11th of February 1973.
Are you refering to the Telharmonium?
Wikipedia says that the genre "appeared" in 1990.
Filosofem appeared in 1996.
These videos are the best possible tracks i could use for my DND campaigns, keep up the awesome videos!
Un ensamblaje perfecto. Mountain Realm + Tales the Oak = Tribal Alliance 🖤✨
Coworker suggested this and I can't get enough. Been binging all your videos. Going to buy this one on Bandcamp. Love it! Keep up the good work!
an unexpected collaboration . Seeing the same genre from different angles gives an amazing sound.
If you went to a bar and heard this playing, no you didnt - you went to a tavern
Oh my, am I in heaven?
I think this tavern leads to a cavern
I love the titles, "An Invite to the Toad King", "An Invite for the Northern Tribes", "The Handshaking Hall", and "A Last Toast to New Brother."
They really speak of friendship and respect.
Playing hearthstone and listening to this is a most fitting way to spend a rainy day.
Oh Yes! I love both of these separately, they're even better combined.
One of my favorite channels on youtube. Just amazing. Cryo chamber itself was an amazing channel but crypt just puts it over the edge.
omg that is a sick alliance! so unexpected
To me this sounds really fresh and inspiring! Great work!
What fantastic musical realm have i found myself wandering in?
Crypto Crypt always be playing as background music for my DnD games.
I love to listen to this while I work remotely, eerie, spooky and it helps me focus!
This is glorious. Love this collaboration!
Amazing artworks.
I come back here at least 2 times a week, as it really helps to create the right mood at work. This album also inspired me to write Dungeon Synth. I really wanted to order a tape, but they don't deliver it to my country
Sorry to hear that, there are only a few countries that we can't deliver too
Great Ds here,greetings from italy
Wake up babe new Cryo Crypt just dropped
Officially made it out the swamp
I mean what can I say; this album is a masterpiece
I recently discovered this channel and man, it's amazing! every music I hear is so mesmerizing. Love it!
This is the music mash up the world needed. love the music from both of these realms
This soundtrack makes me want to make a retro style fantasy colony sim game with a plethora of varying races and factions
I understand you, I play it while developing an rpg game
I was coming home on a 7 hour flight playing Kingdom Come Deliverence on my Steam Deck, turned off the game music and had this in the background instead, before I realised it we were landing.
I see new Cryo Crypt vid, I give it a like
Love it. So chill, so fairy and folk.
This was an awesome album. Good work.
I see the gnome enclave made a pact with the Amphibian Court to fight the Dastard Knights
Haha, this is so nice. Never expected this.
Top level across the board. I rolled 6 characters to this. Lovely
nice songs, nice art
Aww, so nice music on this album😊. Exuse me, a tape) It's sounds like story about friendship
Album so nice it was posted twice
Beautiful work!! Track 2 reminded me of Ocarina of Time, must be the "voice-like" patch, very evocative. Thanks a lot❤🔥
Whoa the description is a new lore bit 👍
I'm a simple man, I see a toad, I listen
🐸
awesome!, makes me remember the lunacid ost
Just listened to another video from Cryo Crypt for the first time and now a new one is uploaded. Noice
I subscribed 20 seconds in.
The elves are gonna gate this one 🔥 Long live the toad king
makes me miss playing age of wonders back in the day
All we need now is for the gang to cut a deal with the witches at Witch bolt
New Cryo Crypt? LFG!
Love the trace elements of Ghost Box. The first track especially reminds me far more of Belbury Poly than it does Mortiis or Burzum.
Time to finish my Master's thesis!!!
so glad the dwafs and the frog people finally came to a peace agreement.
Amazing work, as always, thank you
Where is the place? Neither here nor there, but somewhere in between. Felt but not seen, illusory but more potent than reality. Where is this place?
🙏
I'd really love to see an animated movie with aestethic similar to the cover of this album and with this music in the background.
Underground banger 💀💀💀
love it keep it up
Amazing work
Pretty cool!
What kind of picture is that, Sylkon of the Wizarding Mountains and the Frog Brotherhood would never shake hands and form an alliance. But the music is good.
You forgot about the secret pact to fight the Ilgamesh. Guaranteed, it wasn't fully accepted as canon, but still a compelling, if lesser known, tale.
need this on a vinyl i'll pay out the ears for it
This toad king - obviously a powerful sorcerer - should have his own epic tale.
Oh he likely has, check out Tales Under the Oak's solo albums!
how many of you listen to this and imagine fantasy settings? currently DMing Tomb of annihilation (D&D) and mind goes wild with these tunes
Would love to see you work with Out Of Season. After that, Antti Martikainen would be a DREAM.
omfg yes it finally happened!
Me encantan las melodías
Huzzah!!!!!
Привет из Карелии!
They're allied now because the goblins now serve an evil witch and are coming for them
I listen to this while I grind enough faction points to purchase toad armor
After reading the description on some of these album covers I kind of want a ttrpg adventure guide based on this world, be it dnd or any other system!
I'm working on a sourcebook for the Mountain Realm region, stay tuned
how do these people make these albums so quickly
A lot of these albums have been produced for a long time usually, but sometimes they get scheduled to release close together
damn
