Serious question: How does it sound like medieval folk music? I'm not well versed in music history, but it sounds like Modern classical to me. Some of the instruments are medieval or older, but some of them are Modern inventions, and the composition makes me think Modern Period classical music as well. As far as I'm aware, the dungeon synth genre doesn't take inspiration from medieval music in the first place.
